The following are Trivial facts relating to Manga/DeadmanWonderland.
----

* ActorAllusion:
** For Tsunenaga Tamaki: FourEyesZeroSoul? check. Experimenting on people? Check. Relius Clover, anyone?
** Exclusive to the English dub, Nagi Kengamine , he performs Sebastian's bow in episode 7. Another instance of CastingGag in the dub.
** Also exclusive to the English dub, Genkaku's an AxCrazy PsychoForHire under duties to kill superpowered people kept inside a prison and is voiced by Creator/JasonDouglas, who also voiced another such character.
* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: While the series tanked so hard in Japan that ratings data wasn't even released for it, the series has enjoyed a respectable amount of fame in America thanks to the recently revived picking up the show, with Creator/VizMedia picking up the manga rights after stopped translating it due to them going bankrupt.
* HeyItsThatVoice:
** Exclusive to the Japanese dub, for Rokuro Bundo, he does NOT like having his calculations destroyed.
** For America, he's gone insane.
** For Genkaku, his English voice is done by the same guy who voices Claude Faust from Manga/BlackButler. This becomes hilarious when you realize that his love interest is voiced by the guy that plays Sebastian Michaelis from the same series.
* Keep Circulating The Manga: Not many people knew about the manga when it came out, and due to poor sales, was canceled after five volumes when Tokyopop restructured, which canon-wise is roughly the same time the anime wrapped up. Unfortunate, considering that when the revived Toonami showcased the anime upon its re-launch, interest in the series soared, forcing those wanting to see what happens next to resort to scanlations.
** NetworkToTheRescue: VizMedia has picked up the manga and has begun publishing new English translations from the beginning as of February 2014. Let the rejoicing begin!
* NamesTheSame: Mockingbird's voice actor. No, that's not THE RyanReynolds.
* PlayingAgainstType: LeahClark as the foul-mouthed CuteAndPsycho Minatsuki in the dub.
** Everyone is hilariously coarse in the English dub, including many voice actors who typically don't stray into that area.
** Creator/EricVale as Tamaki is a partial example. While Eric is no stranger to the SmugSnake roles - Kimblee and Sakyou come to mind - he's still better-known for playing heroic roles, like Trunks, America, and Sanji.
* SeriesHiatus: The manga underwent one in 2012, due to the author's pregnancy.
* SleeperHit: Deadman did not do very well in its original Japanese run, and Creator/FUNimation picked it up for a cheap buck. When it was announced that Creator/AdultSwim would be reviving Creator/Toonami as an anime-only block for late-night TV on Saturdays, Creator/FUNimation and Williams Street struck a deal to give Deadman a premiere-only run, airing episodes 1 through 12 as a promotion for the DVD release. While the first week's episodes weren't anything special, by week two the series ratings began to rival those of Manga/Bleach, with later episodes breaking a million viewers.
