- Sex Sells: The way Sandra Giles is illustrated on the poster. May also count as Very False Advertising as at no point in the film does Giles look, well, like that.
- Throw It In!: An odd reversal. Whilst recording a song for the movie soundtrack (to be lip-synched during filming), Dick Contino ad-libbed a loud, exaggerated gasp ("AHHHHHHHH!") at the end of the song, which was not accounted for in the script. The filmmakers settled on having the character, in the middle of performing the song for the scene, walk up to a girl and give her The Big Damn Kiss, culminating in that loud "AHHHHHHHH!"
