• Follow the Leader: The Atari 2600 Spider-Man game bears an uncanny resemblance to this one.
• No Export for You: A good chunk of the various incarnations of the game never made it out of Japan. The exceptions are as follows: the original arcade edition (as well as an Arcade Archives port of it on PS4) an Atari 2600 port, and a remake called Hyper Crazy Climber as a PSOne Classic on Play Station Network.
