  • Kids' Meal Toy:
    • In Europe, McDonald's released figures of Belle, Beast, Lumiere, and Cogsworth in their Happy Meals.
    • In Asia, McDonald's released a set of five spinning toys that were on stands that could connect to each other to make one big stand. These consisted of Belle and Beast together, Mrs. Potts and Chip together, Cogsworth, Angelique, and Forte.
  • Non-Singing Voice: Andrew Keenan-Bolger provided Chip's singing voice in place of Haley Joel Osment.
  • The Other Darrin:
    • Haley Joel Osment replaced Chip's previous voice actor, Bradley Pierce.
    • Zig-zagged with the Beast in the Mexican Spanish dub. Arturo Mercado reprised the role, but only voicing him in his monstrous appearance. Unlike the first film, he was voiced by Yamil Atala as the Prince.
    • Manuel Bermúdez replaces Francisco González as Chip in the Mexican Spanish dub.
  • Sequel Gap: Six years after Beauty and the Beast.
  • What Could Have Been: It was originally meant to be a straight-up sequel, with Gaston's brother Avenant (a Shout-Out to the 1946 film of the fairy tale) as the antagonist intent on avenging Gaston's death and ruining the lovers' lives. It was changed to a midquel and Avenant was scrapped, his role instead given to the pipe organ when the filmmakers thought the audience would be more interested in the Beast than the Prince.
