  • Late Export for You: Trace Memory was released in North America in September 2005, several months after it did in other countries.
  • Market-Based Title: Two Memories was originally released as "Trace Memory" in North America. The remake averts this by being released as its original title in all regions.
  • No Export for You: The second game for the Wii did not see release in North America or Australia until the duology was remade for the Nintendo Switch 15 years later.
  • Remade for the Export: The sequel was only released in Japan and Europe and never saw a North American or Australian release. It wouldn't be until the 2024 remake of both games that the game would finally see a release there.
  • Studio Hop: The original games were developed by Cing, while the remakes are made by Arc System Works, albeit with writer Rika Suzuki and director Taisuke Kanasaki returning to supervise the project (while also acting as head writer and art director, respectively).
  • What Could Have Been: Game designer Rika Suzuki once commented she would liked to have seen Ashley and Kyle Hyde from Hotel Dusk: Room 215 meet up, presumably in a crossover game.
