Tear Jerker / Twitch Plays Pokémon FireRed

  • At only 5 hours and 1 minute in, Zigzagoon was released.
  • n-A-me's the s-A-me.
  • Too little, too late. An NPC tells A to not give up on weak Pokemon... after the great PC Shuffle trapped almost all of her caught Pokemon, including her starter.
  • Some of the Mob has interpreted Green using a Torchic in battle as Zexy switching sides. He later used an Espeon, bringing back memories of Burrito.
  • Artificial Wonderland (If Bill is A's dad).
  • How Wooper got Bone Club.
  • Ghosts at the Pokemon Tower include Electrike, Koffing, Smoochum, Torchic, Eevee, Treecko, Shedinja, Goldeen, Venonat, Machop, Pikachu, and Totodile - all Pokemon the Mob has trained or wanted. It is rightfully being called Guilt Trip Tower.
  • The Mob found a Shiny Pikachu. They killed it.
  • Let them try.
  • Depositing Quagsire was this for many people, even if it was to get a Mew.
  • Swablu the fainted.
  • Shellock forgetting Odor Sleuth for Surf has been interpreted as his retirement, with "The Case of the Missing Teeth" being his final case.
  • Air Jordan was sighted on display in Fuchsia City, confined to a small pond. All the more saddening by the fact that it's alone in the pond due to the rest of its kind being hunted to near-extinction.
  • The death of Latios. It forced Shellock into a life or death situation through Perish Song, which left Shellock with no choice but to kill him in order to lift the curse. To make matters worse, the area Latios was in had wild Croconaw in it, serving as a possible sign that Shellock was destined to kill Latios, even if he didn't want to.
  • What becomes of Green in the ending. The soul-crushing defeat at the hands of A leaves him bitter and angry, and he lashes out at A by shoving her aside as they exit the Pokemon league. One shot in the credits is of a bridge, with a side panel of Green staring into space while tossing a Pokeball up and down. Having lost his title as Champion, one of his Pokemon who may or may not have been A's original starter from a previous alternate reality (and who may possibly have been regained by her), and the love of his grandfather, it becomes clear that Green is contemplating killing himself on account of A taking away everything he ever valued.
  • All That Remains
