  • In the episode "Norman's Conquest," we see a flashback of Norman's father being murdered by the Ax-Crazy warrior Spike, made worse by the fact that Norman believes it's his fault because he wasn't physically strong enough to bring his fathers war ax to him in time, being only a child at the time.
    • The ending is even more of a tear jerker. Norman finds closure for something that's been tormenting him for 10,000 years. He gives his father's spirit his axe, and sheds Manly Tears at finally making peace with the past.
