- Made even more touching when the protagonist says, after Elvis dies, "It's too bad...if you weren't a demon, we could've been friends."
- Speaking of the devil, Shannon herself just laughs after being told about Elvis going down. Cold-hearted libertine, why'd a demon care, right? Then one finds the giant statue of Elvis in her property, right in front of her castle. From all the scaffolding on it, it must have been a recent undertaking. Draw what conclusions you will from this.
