Now, Brad has always been an [[JerkAss unpleasant character]], but watching him [[KickTheDog gleefully needle Bob and push all of his melancholy buttons]], [[LackOfEmpathy uncaring of his fragile grasp on reality]], is horrifyingly cruel and heartless (even when it CrossesTheLineTwice and [[CrossesTheLineTwice turns into a stand-up routine with a laugh track) track]]) and could represent a crossing of the MoralEventHorizon for some people. By the end of the scene, Bob's mind snaps and he is left grimacing and squealing in pure anguish, and you may find yourself wanting [[TheWoobie to give him a bear hug]].
