Poor Pellinore gets put through the wringer; he tries to tell Arthur about Lancelot and Guenevere's affair only to get shouted down by Arthur. And when the knights are fighting around the Table, he's left begging them to stop it.
Arthur admitting that he knows Mordred is set against him, but hoping that he can get through to him because he’s the only child of his that he will have.
Arthur's farewell to Lancelot and Guenevere. He's broken and knows that there's nothing that can stop the battle. Everything he fought for has crumbled around him, and he's forced to leave behind his wife and his best friend.
The finale of Camelot. Arthur is so beaten and yet he stands tall and says these haunting words
Arthur: Where once it never rained till after sundown, by 8 A.M., the morning fog had flown. Don't let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief, shining moment..."
Then the whole company joins in. "That was known as Camelot!"
"But some of the drops sparkle, Pelly. Some of them do sparkle!"
