* ProductPlacement: ''Extremely''. The people who flatter and paint Sony products as great tend to receive more leniency from judges as well.
** This reaches SoBadItsGood levels when they show gameplay from yet unreleased video games and a giant ESRB rating covers half the screen.
* TheScrappy: Invoked, Egoraptor was pretty much disliked by the judges from day 1 and was kicked out in the third episode on basically having the bad luck to be on three losing teams in a row.

He did a couple jerky things once in a while, but most of it seemed to just be saying or doing the wrong thing rather than actual malice. Meanwhile, Big Fazeek is what happens when Doc has a chip on his shoulder.
* VillainyFreeVillain: Egoraptor in Season 3 is treated by pretty much everyone as the main threat and villain thus far, largely due to ManipulativeEditing. Anyone who's remotely familiar with Egoraptor knows this is ridiculous.
** Egoraptor himself said he was on good terms with most of the teammates, making this even worse. To drive the point home, Egoraptor gets kicked off... ''for actually trying to help the team.''[[note]]Ego left his team to go back and get more ammo for a catapult, because he realized it's not feasible to teach someone how to use a giant slingshot. One of the reasons he was kicked off was because Sony edited out him getting more ammo and trying to teach the catapult, making it look like he just walked away and left his team to struggle.[[/note]]
*** To add further insult to injury, Egoraptor asserts that his team actually finished before the other team, so the whole incident was just a pretence to kick Egoraptor off the show.
** According to Egoraptor as well, basically everyone was cool with each other and the conflict all derived from ManipulativeEditing.
