The Massive Multi Fandom RPG is a Forum RPG notable for reviving the TV Tropes Forum roleplayer section. The 'first season' was created by Mint Pearl Voice, and run continually by tropers Nyktös, Te Chameleon, Theoneknownasme, Kaze Koichi, Demovere, and a number of GMs led by DoctorThunder when Mint disappeared. The basic plotline was that various characters from alternate dimensions were pulled into a place known simply as "The City", with no way to get back. A gigantic Hourglass dominated the center of the City, and as the days went on, the characters were put through strange scenarios, such as having their ages changed or being forced to burst out into song at random intervals. The sequel carries a similar premise, with one of the major differences being the Hourglass is replaced with a gigantic Roulette that doesn't stop spinning. The third and final installment in the trilogy takes place in Extremus, a mysterious composite land located at the edge of The Multiverse.Has Character pages for Season 1, Season 2, and Season 3, as well as a Recap page.
Chuck Cunningham Syndrome - Many players have left the roleplay as it's gone on; sometimes it's handwaved by having them stay or die or something, but often, they just... stop appearing and none of the other characters seems to notice.
The worst case being Season 1's disappearance of Mint Pearl Voice, the game's own creator.
Cerebus Syndrome - Season 1. The RPG originally started out as a relatively-lighthearted romp, where characters only had to deal with each other and whatever silly curse was thrown their way by the Troper. Then the curses started becoming more and more deadly, and the characters soon found themselves fighting for their lives...
The series as a whole has gotten more and more serious and dark with each incarnation.
Continuity Lockout - Season 1 was already big: at one point, it was over 600 pages and 16,000+ posts and growing. Seasons 2 and 3 grew even more convoluted. At this point, nobody really expects the new players to read through the entire game thread so far, just read the last few pages and the recap (which happens to be always horribly out-of-date) to get a vague idea of what's going on.
There's also the fact that a lot of elements from Season 1 and 2 play a major role in Season 3.
Basically it's gotten to the point that one of the purposes of the discussion thread is having a platform to explain the horribly referential plot.
Hand Wave - Frequently used to explain characters' inactivity while their players were away. Everyone's wrists must hurt like hell at this point.
In season 3 at least, Word Of God states that the microbes give everyone the ability to understand all other languages, but don't actually change what speech or writing sounds/looks like.
Forum RPG Time - Take Season 1, for example: it started in May 2009, Day 13 started on August 2010.
Shameless Self Promoter: Meta example. Take a look at the crowners, for example. It's also exceedingly rare to find a character trope that wasn't added by the character's player.
Action Duo - Max (of the Sam and Max duo) and Spriggan for some time in the Exactor when the former uses his Jedi power to hurl frag grenades tossed near him against Dark Troopers.
A bit for Spriggan and Mitchell in Day 12.
Kaidan and Rondeau working together to distract White Selvaria so that Spriggan can snipe her with a non-lethal tranquilizer bullet in Day 13.
All There in the Manual - How did Ryofu start to work for Vader? Where Joshua hides the Winslow? What deal connects Demitri and Lewis? Only GM knows the answers.
Anti-Magic - Winslow is completely immune to Troper's power.
Animorphism - Day 6's curse on the human transportees.
Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking - When Vezon loses his cape, he lists the things he would do when people inevitably start poking him with sticks.
"I just feel so....naked and vulnerable without it. And I don't want anyone seeing me vulnerable. Because then they'd point and laugh and say "Hey, look, Vezon's vulnerable. Lets' all poke him with sticks." And then they'd poke me with sticks, and then I'd get angry, and then I'd strangle them and bite them and RIP OUT ALL THEIR THROATS AND BURN THEM OVER A FIRE AND THEN I'D START KILLING EVERYBODY IN THE WHOLE WORLD AND SMASH THEIR HUTS AND RIP THEIR DESKS AND SPONGE THEIR HAGGISES AND TRIFLE THEIR MAGNOLIAS TO THE GROUND!! AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAA!!!...I'm fine."
The Artifact - Several curses end up being mostly ignored or abandoned as time goes on.
Attack Its Weak Point - The Leviathan's Fruit of Power. Can perhaps be said the same of the Nano Walker in Day 12.
Back-to-Back Badasses - Mitchell and Spriggan do this to finish off the remaining Nobodies with their small arms, flashbangs and incendiary grenades during Day 12.
Iji and Raz do this during the battle against Copy Nightcrawler in Day 14.
Batman Gambit - Ryofu's plan to convince Vader in Lucas's death. Due to Lucas's meddling it went horribly wrong.
Battle Couple - Conan and Selvaria, Lirael and Vlad and now Argost and Suika. Thank you Day 8.
Chivalrous Pervert - Nikolai in his one day in the city has sworn vengeance on Fiddy for shooting at Aigis (didn't work as it was no violence day) and sacrificed his life for Ryofu by asking his crest to self-destruct killing both Nikolai and the evil creature that was attacking them.
Cluster F-Bomb - Miles is the reigning champion of this trope.
Cold Sniper - A little. Spriggan uses a sniper rifle on the fake Selvaria in the last day to shoot out her legs to help the real one deliver the fatal blow.
Contemplate Our Navels - Selvaria tends to do this often; not being sure if you're already dead or not can do that to you. A little pep talk from the Dairy King - yes, the Dairy King - snaps her out of her latest navel-gazing session.
Contrast Montage - Tot and Five of Eleven on Day 10, two sides of Borg enslavement who attempt to describe their takes onthe Borg to the others.
Disney Death - Subverted and played straight with Balrog multiple times.
Dub Name Change - Ryofu keeps calling Geo "Subaru." Strangely, she never changes Bowser to King Koopa.
Maria Renard however called Bowser "Koopa" for the longest time but also called Geo "Geo."
Duel to the Death - Day 11, Selvaria versus Beatrice. Beatrice wins, though she is impressed enough afterward to heal Selvaria's wounds before Selvaria could die from injury.
Easy Amnesia - Maria is clonked on the head and it happens to her on Day 13.
Epiphany Therapy - Selvaria has spent nearly her entire time in the City waging a mental battle between her loyalty to Maximilian and her desire to live for herself. This battle comes to a close on Day 13, when the others help manifestations of her fragmented psyche reconcile, allowing her to finally choose her fate and her future for herself.
Everything Trying to Kill You - Comes to a head on Day Night 11, with the freedom-seeking former-Borg's temple full of deathtraps.
Evil Knockoff - The Troper createsturns into one of Ahiru, Mint Pearl Voice's character, as the first boss during the finale! And she's much more powerful then the original.
Face Heel Turn - When Ryofu first appeared in city she had amnesia. She joined the good guys and made a number of friends. And then Raz and Lirael restored her memory. Shortly after that Ryofu stole Lucas's lightsaber (and killed him) and joined Darth Vader.
Marco. Although it was temporary.
Edward and Iji joined Xemnas on Day 12 after becoming Nobodies.
Friendly Sniper - Spriggan does this on Day 12. He's doing this in Day 13 by trying to use tranquilized sniper rifle rounds to take down White Selvaria non-lethally. On the last day, he fired from the VKS to assist Maria against a giant non-friendly dragon. He fought against the fake Selvaria by engaging in long-range sniping.
Freudian Excuse - Fiddy hates helicopters. They stole his highschool date, his mother was killed in a helicopter drive by, his dog was ran over by a helicopter, and they "TOOK MAH SKULL!!!" (His words)
And with Day 9, something else has caused another round of this.
Genre Savvy - Ryofu seems very competent. Maybe she read history books to understand what she did wrong in previous reincarnation. Or maybe it because she is the GM's character and the GM is a cheating bastard.
G.I.R.L. - A few. Vlad is an inversion - his player is a woman.
This Troper thinks Cross Player is more suitable term in this situation.
Hailfire Peaks - Day 11 splits the City into two themed areas: a space-themed zone where the characters gain personalized starships and pilot suits, and a horror-themed zone where they turn into appropriately-themed monsters. A Gate in the center allows passage between the two zones.
Hannibal Lecture - Demitri is on the heroes' side, but still loves this.
Max was giving the equivalent of one to Dimitri. And it's HILARIOUS.
Heel Face Turn - Vlad was on his way with his attempt to save Waspinator from the Borg and shocked into it by Danielle's appearance and letting him know about his Bad Future. He is still rather amoral.
Day 7 - The RED Engineer shoots himself to prevent the Borg from becoming stronger.
Day Night 11 - Raz uses his telekinesis to push his companions through a water-filled tunnel and out the exit before he is crushed by the stone grinders within the tunnel and Edward blows himself up using alchemy in an attempt to defeat Darth Vader.
Day 11- Sort of. Spriggan used a Cherudim SAGA Gundam mobile suit to be a target for Wikus' ship when it detected him as an enemy. Until Wikus took care of the problem.
Day 14 - Angelus unleashes a massive fireball on Nightcrawler's Copy in a desperate attempt to take him down in between teleports. Because she was already wounded, her fireball also caused her to eventually succumb to her wounds. And because of their pact, Caim dies too.
Hide Your Lesbians - Ryofu calls Dani her little sister. She clearly wants more than that.
Hide Your Children - Inverted, children are running around the city on day 12, playing with the characters as if they were toys. One of them tries to do this to Caim, this is a mistake.
Hurting Hero - Spriggan is here after the follow-up rescue to save Selvaria by hurling frag grenades to distract giant children "holding" the woman captive had injured her in Day 11. He was subsequently accused for shooting the children before he revealed that Anonymous initially "started" the rescue by firing his light machine gun at the children. Spriggan tries to make it up by leading the others to "help" Anonymous secure a laptop for their use, taking command while Selvaria recovers before she reconciles with him.
Kick the Dog - Anonymous shoots Trope-tan's eyes out on Day 12.
Kill 'Em All - Presumably what will happen when the hourglass runs out. However, it has been made clear that the characters can avoid this fate if they try hard enough.
Killed Off for Real - Presumably Makuta on Day 5, Sho Minamimoto on Day 6, Lucas on Day 9, Darth Vader, Beatrice, and Ryofu on Day 11, Joshua on Day 12.
Loads and Loads of Characters - To clarify: as of August 5, 2010, about 110 characters have entered since the beginning. Most of them left or disappeared mysteriously since then, but there are about 20 characters active (not counting the NPCs).
Lost Episode - The entire Season One was one of the many threads deleted without warning from the TV Tropes Fora near the end of 2010. Whoopsie-daisy!
Mêlée à Trois - Day(?) 11. The fight for the Winslow pits the allied characters against Vader, the freedom-seeking former-Borg, and the Borg who want to rejoin the Collective.
Day 12: Xemnas's Corridors of Darkness, already full of Heartless and Nobodies, became overrun with Gnosis. The three factions promptly set about shredding each other, with a group of the heroes stuck in the middle.
Military Salute - Spriggan does this near the end of Season 1 with Selvaria.
Mind Rape - Touching the hourglass (or affecting it) makes you relive your worst memory. Repeatedly - until you are no longer touching it.
Xemnas subjects some of the heroes to this in an attempt to capture their Hearts. For Iji, Edward and Sonic, it works.
Moment Killer - Day 12. Iji's Heartless and Nobody are reunited, KOS-MOS rushes to her side... and what does Dimitri say?
Enerjak Dimitri: (shouting) STOP IT STOP IT GO AWAY
Earlier example: Joker's appearance in the city. He ruined a date between (male) Ryofu and (female) Dani. He won hadoken in the face for that.
Mood Dissonance - Day 10's buggy race is contrasted by Lirael's negotiations with Darth Vader and Ryofu, Selvaria, Geo and Joshua talking about a potential NPC killer.
Anonymous tries to summon Sithis to fight the Troper. The only thing Sithis does is start slowly dissolving the city from the outside in.
No-Gear Level - Haunted Mansion sidequest. The staff strips protagonist from every weapon they know about. Lyra had her Pokémon taken after she asked if she can keep them.
Not Now, Kiddo - The mahjong quest would be avoided if Lirael and Tot just listened to this volleyball player kid.
Not What It Looks Like - After Day 6 and reverting to their true forms (and sharing a cot), Vlad is in his ghost outfit and Dani is nude. Lirael walks in and automatically makes an unfortunate assumption but realizes that wasn't so.
Meta example: A reading error caused Spriggan to respond to a comment Iji made while Iji was in a ladies' shower room. This was quickly edited once it was pointed out to Spriggan's player.
Older than They Look - Road, who looks like a young girl but has looked like that for over thirty years.
One-Man Army - Some of the characters battling on their own.
Ontological Mystery - Subverted. It was revealed rather early on how everyone got to the city, and the plot revolves more around figuring out how to leave.
Put on a Bus - Pretty much everyone who has left the city without dying.
Of particular note are Vlad and Dani, who disappeared into a magic door that appeared out of nowhere in Bowser's Castle, due to Vlad's player leaving the game.
Put on a Bus to Hell - Waspinator messes with Transwarp technology, merges with his counterpart from another universe, causes the fabric of time and space to break down, and is swallowed up along with his Transwarp device by a crack in reality.
"The Reason You Suck" Speech - A variation in that its given to another villain; Bowser chews out the Pigmasks about what incompetent villains they are and how stupid their uniforms look.
Restraining Bolt - Dani, but it's a mental (but justified) one - if she overuses her power, it could kill her.
Sergeant Rock - When Selvaria was forced into situations such as being injured or forced to lead one group from the party, Spriggan becomes second-in-command and leads some of the others in another group.
Shoot the Dog - Vlad and Lirael apparently murdering Road, who appears to be a child.
Dani herself almost had one of these...
Ryofu killed Lucas without second thought.
Shrouded in Myth - After two of Bowser's minions talk about Mario, and all the grief he's put them through over the years, the plumber has started to get shades of this.
Shut Up, Hannibal! - Nobody felt much like listening to the Leviathan talk.
Super Mode - Aigis activated her Orgia Mode in the battle with Xemnas, but the drawback was that she was out of commission for a while for overheating.
Take Up My Sword - Not really an example under how the trope is described, but Maria takes Caim's sword after he and Angelus die, before vowing that the Troper will pay.
Taking You with Me - Day 11: After being fried by Darth Vader's enraged Force lightning, Beatrice curses the area one mile around her to explode. Vader returns the favor by burying both of them under a pile of rubble so high, no one would be able to dig either of them out before Beatrice's curse went off...
Day 12: The heroes defeated the Nano Beast by crippling its legs and destroying its gun. Its response - start charging up a Nuke.
Throw It In - Back in April, there was a nonsensicalpost about Trope-Tan popping up, which went unnoticed by anyone and promptly was forgotten. Months later, the search for Trope-Tan became a plot point.
Timey Wimey Ball - Vlad and Dani are from the same universe, but from different points in time. Now that Vlad knows his unfortunate fate...
Token Evil Teammate - Waspinator, Vlad for a while, V.V. Argost somewhat, Bowser, Caim (although his teammate status is debatable), the Joker, and Anonymous.
Unlimited Wardrobe - Vlad can create clothes for himself and Dani. The others...? Not so much.
The Troper always offer new clothes before and after shapeshifting curses. For all party.
Useless Useful Spell - Miles's ability to hear the dead is fairly useless in the City, except where ghosts are involved.
UST - Conan and Selvaria. The "Unexpressed" part is particularly strong in Selvaria's case.
Weak, but Skilled - Some characters like Mitchell and Miles rely on using small arms to fight.
Weirdness Magnet - Deadpool, to the point that Nightcrawler exclaims that his insanity is contagious.
Wham Episode - After the heroes have beaten Makuta on Day 5, the Winslow enters the city, killing Makuta and attracting the Borg and the Empire, and also setting the plot of most of the rest of the game in motion.
You Shall Not Pass - Selvaria holds the line in front of the New Pork Tower against a star destroyer's worth of Imperial stormtroopers and their vehicles. It takes a miniature Zombie Apocalypse courtesy of Lirael to drive them back completely.
She does it again on night 10, holding the Borg at bay in the Temple of Doom so the others could fight Vader.
Accidental Pervert: Using his tracing to figure out why Subaru's cybernetics were overheating on Day 3 gave Shirou more information that he'd intended to get.
Actor Allusion - Wreck-Gar makes a lot of Weird Al refernces.
One that his player was particularly proud of: On the morning of Mecha Day, Crow and Tom Servo are trying to find the words that will activate their mechs' transformation. Crow tries "MacArthur Park is Melting in the Dark," which Wreck-Gar corrects as "Jurassic Park is Frightening" in the dark. Not only was Jurassic Park the name of Weird Al's parody of MacArthur Park, but Weird Al once was a guest Riffer on Rifftrax, the latest project that the guys behind MST3K are working on. The movie that Weird Al was a guest on? Jurassic Park.
On the day before that, Crow found himiself transformed into his arch-nemesis, Dr. Clayton Forrester, both of which were played by Trace Beaulieu.
On Day 10, all of the songs Fate sings were songs performed by her Japanese VA, Nana Mizuki.
All Your Base Are Belong to Us: Dimitri's attack on the TGS building on Day 8. The place takes such a beating that it eventually collapses, leaving the heroes without a home base.
Applied Phlebotinum - the mysterious substance known only as 'Meta'. So far, this substance has only manifested as a purple mist; its ultimate purpose is still unknown.
Arc Words - "I remember" for days seven and eight.
The Atoner - Pyrrhus wants to make up for his mistakes, especially for the costly victory he achieved in the Battle of Asculum.
Back-to-Back Badasses - Harima and Shiro, and Fate and Subaru, during the zombie battle in the Burj Khalifa. Anonymous and Jorge also pull this. Shiro and Subaru in Eggman Land.
Bag of Spilling - Ghor woke up in the City with basically none of his equipment: his 'story arc', at least for the moment, seems to involve him trying to get all of it back again.
BFS: Shirou's Nine Lives Blade Works. It's so heavy, that even when reinforcing every bone in his body as much as he could, it still tore his arm open and broke one of his legs.
Chandler's Law - Send in the goon squads to help out the plot. Starting with the Left 4 Dead-type zombies and Team Rocket, followed by mecha gnomes deployed by Zim. Dracula's minions in Castlevania territory did that too. In fact, these were used very often throughout the Season.
Chronic Hero Syndrome - Spriggan decided to take on Larfleeze due to his "methods" on taking over a building and throwing out the people inside when Maria and Shiro didn't want to "meet" the Orange Lantern in person as he didn't kill anybody. He reminds them that just because he didn't kill them means that it's okay to let him potentially harm someone else. In the end, he decides to "appease" Larfleeze, something he doesn't want to do.
Both Shirou and Maria have been coming to regret that decision as of late.
Cluster F-Bomb: Asuka's verbal attack on Hito-Shura on Day 7.
Asuka: Who the fuck do you think you are? You don't get to lecture me on anything, you fucking coward! You just run away from all your fucking problems! You ran away from me when I needed you! You ran away from having to fucking confront me later! Hell, you're just fucking running from yourself most of the time, you ball-less little shithead!
Combination Attack: During Shirou's mindscape, Braig, Subaru, Shepard, Shirou, Fate and Maria finished off Gilgamesh with a syncronised series of attacks.
Combining Mecha: Subaru and Shirou combined to finish off the Egg Dragoon on Day 5. Wreck-Gar also formed the arm of one during the climax of Day 2.
Cool Big Sis: Subaru to Fate and Crona, despite the fact that Fate will grow up to be her commanding officer.
Crazy-Prepared - Spriggan placed an assault rifle underneath a pillow next to him in Day 10 as Raiders were the main threat.
Cultured Warrior - Spriggan explaining to Maria about the history of the Old West and the wonders of nuclear-related topics in Day 3. Harima knowing exactly what to do in Feudal Japan due to specialized otaku-ness; he also explained to Maria the significance of the 1960s.
Curbstomp Battle - Sixes completely wiped the floor with the main cast the first time they fought, neatly impaling Fate in the process.
Description Porn - Ominae, oh so much. Every time Spriggan gets a new gun/equipment/vehicle, the name will be written out in full, every attachment mentioned (with name witten out in full) and with a link to the item even included. This wouldn't be so jarring if it weren't for Spriggan getting 3-4 new stuff each day. It's apparently because he wrote fanfiction beforehand.
Friends Rent Control - After the destruction of the TGS building on day 8, many of the player characters move into units in the apartment complex Fate stays in.◊ Justified for two reasons, as 1) the complex was devoid of other occupants except Fate when it was pulled into the City, allowing others to use the other units freely, and 2) it would be easier for everyone to gather in the same building. A few chose not to do so and are living in other places.
Funbag Airbag: During the Day 6 Water Polo match, when an accidental collision and a Wardrobe Malfunction result in Subaru cushioning Shirou's face... with her bare cleavage.
Gender Flip - Some of those transformed by Day 4's curse changed their gender. For example, Shirou became Rin Tohsaka, while Maria became Alucard.
Heroic BSOD - To Spriggan in the 17th day after his legs get disabled, Maria gets mad at him and was forced to be disarmed of most of his gear. He's a walking, mobile sitting duck waiting to be gravely injured or killed. Engineer as well after his fight with the others against 666 in the same day.
High School AU - Day 6 becomes one of these, with the characters becoming either teachers or students at City High.
ImplacableManBot - Meta-infected Optimus Prime proves to be extremely difficult to kill, requiring two groups of Mooks and multiple player characters wailing on him to finally bring him down.
Intrepid Merchant - The Hesse Brothers via a network of underground hideouts as they sell various small arms.
Loads and Loads of Characters: The NPC Overload of Day 3, in which everyone tries to set their plot in motion at once.
Even discounting NPCs, there are currently well over thirty active characters.
Love Triangle - Between Spriggan, Two-Bit and Maria.
Memetic Mutation - In-universe example: it's what happens to NPCs affected by Meta. invoked
Mind Control - Dimitri's attack on Day 8, which affected roughly half the cast.
Mood Whiplash - Thanks to Zim's pink gas, which causes uncontrollable happiness and lethargy in anyone who breathes it in, the affected Subaru and Maria take turns raping hugging Crona...... while Shirou, Fate and the RED Engineer are busy trying to take down Meta-infected Optimus Prime.
Messianic Archetype - Iroh. Let's see, he's a guy loved by everyone, only wants to help people, and dies, and then comes back to life a few days later.
Mexican Standoff - Spriggan and the Rookie, before the remnants of the Militia led by Ramirez appeared at the 1st basement parking lot of the Avalon.
Military Salute - A few do it aside from Spriggan when he greets Selvaria.
Braig, Fate, Subaru, Shirou, and Sakura have all formed a sort of surrogate family within The City. This has been shown to have greatly benefited Crona and Sakura.
Never Live It Down: An in-universe example— Spriggan told everyone about Shirou coming from an H-Game. Presumably, some of the characters *coughtwobitcough* won't let him forget this.
Not so Above It All: Shirou and Subaru have some friendly aerodynamics competition on Day 5, despite the former usually trying to be somewhat serious at that point.
The two of them also competed against each other at the arcade on Day 9, proving that his "family" has managed to change Shirou's constant stoicism.
Not What It Looks Like: On Day 7, Subaru and Shirou emerge from the bedroom after a few hours with bed hair and wrinkled clothes. It actually wasn't what it looked like, but that didn't stop everyone from giving them a hard time about it.
Please Wake Up: Shirou to Fate when she was nearly killed by Archer Alter's Gae Bolg at the end of Day 4, then again on Day 6, along with Subaru, during Fate's Heroic BSOD.
Power Trio: Fate, Subaru and Shirou, among other examples.
Running Gag: Several, mostly from the discussion thread;
Meta example: It's common for Dimitri's player to ask if a certain being that possesses a 12th-level intellect can join as an NPC, and it's common for Larfleeze's player to shoot him down.
Every player, at some point, will end up barging into Fate's apartment unannounced, while the three who actually live there must weigh being good hosts with kicking the freeloaders out.
Demovere's pimpiness.
Naked Snake has a recurring dream in which he's forced to watch as Vamp raped Dracula.
Sex is now referred to as either "Extracting DNA", or "an extended spazzing session", or, as of day 16, "Training"
TheMalignancy/Anonymous' player's decrepitude. Especially for Lemon day, and that one time Re-Dead made the mistake of asking him to explain Cat Girls. With pictures.
Everyone passes out on High School AU Day, with Medusa (and later Doctor Thunder) getting progressively angrier with each patient she has to treat.
Spriggan defending his actions as being necessary when he is accused of starting unnecessary fights or when he gets "too violent". Not to mention he's a guerrilla first, not a soldier.
In order to get the true ending, we must, among many other things, get the affection rating between all of the shipped couples at maximum. This includes Shirou and Subaru, (We're doing fine on this one) Maria and Spriggan, (Getting there, but it seems to be in a halt due to Maria/Two-Bit) and possibly Braig and Medusa. (Have we even gotten this one started yet?)
While simultaneously avoiding the Lemon End, which consists of Anonymous turning into a giant lemon (the fruit, in case that wasn't obvious), causing the world to end.
The Malignancy accidentally worked out the Crack Pairing of Fate and Starkiller, who are by some fluke perfect for each-other. He and Flanker 66 are currently using the thread to work out the plot of a fanfiction staring the ship.
Secret Identity - Not this time for Spriggan. Most of the party post-Day 7 know of his civilian identity. May does as well. Bradley keeps his homunculus identity from some of the party members.
Shipper on Deck - Several characters, including Iroh, Snake and Braig, think Maria and Spriggan should be an item.
Don't forget Maria/Two-Bit, which in turn leads to...
Ship Tease: A constant presence in the first week, especially around Subaru/Shirou, Maria/Spriggan and Maria/Two-bit. Zim's Happy Gas attack resulted in Subaru/Maria.
Now that Official Couples have formed, the Ship Tease seems to focus on Crona/Sakura, with Asuka/Two-bit on the side.

The Beastmaster: Harima and his ability to bring in animal friends via telepathy. Maria can summon animals as her power. Red and Cynthia (and May!) are this as they are Pokémon trainers.
The Big Damn Kiss: Subaru and Shirou (Twice to far), Maria and Two-Bit.
Third-Person Person - Wreck-Gar lapses into this on Day Four; he's so confused by the body changing that he becomes convinced that he's not Wreck-Gar anymore.
Villain Team Up - Starts forming on Day 4, but by the time the heroes decide to fight them on Day 8, the group has all but fallen apart.
Watching Troy Burn: On Day 8, the heroes can only watch as the TGS building collapses after Dimitri's Mind Control attack, wiping out the complex's effectiveness as the party's main base.
You Are in Command Now - Since Spriggan and Maria are among the vets who are familiar with the City and the Troper, they often lead the newcomers under their instruction.
You Shall Not Pass - Anyone who helped hold off the Borg invasion in Dell's mindscape during Day 7. Done in Day 18 to prevent #666 from reaching the Roulette.
Season Three Tropes
Actor Allusion: The Female SEES Protagonist (Minako), Isara Gunther, and Raspberyl are all voiced by Laura Bailey in the English releases of Persona 3 Portable, Valkyria Chronicles, and Disgaea 3 respectively.
Anachronic Order: Due to all the problems with players being absent most of the time, the posts frequently have a character retroactively do things in the past.
As Long as It Sounds Foreign: The Polish Warschauer's obviously German name can come off as this until you remember certain historical events between Poland and Germany, and was in fact assumed to be such by one of the RP's Polish players. Probably better to just leave it there.
Badass: Most, if not all, of the entire cast is this.
Considering how much combat there is throughout, a character which is not combat-oriented would have a hard time.
Beat: Ud the Imp (Oswald's player) loves these, and any his post is likely to say "A beat." at least once.
Body Horror: Isara. Edelweiss. Day 3. That is all.
More specifically, the Edelweiss gets turned into a large gun attached to Isara's arm and pumping blue liquid through her veins. Should she actually be called upon to use this gun, the liquid coursing through her body will cause major internal damage. Yeesh...
Demoted to Extra: Ithilrandir fell prey to this for a while—only appearing once in a blue moon, apparently eternally lagging kilometers behind the group and only popping up to remind that he exists, then going Out of Focus again (his player was having problems finding time to RP). He since recovered.
Disproportionate Retribution: Day 4. Folgore and Kachome's singing annoys a lot of people, leading Dante to point a gun at the duo, and Fawful to steal their voices. This causes a Mexican Standoff.
Dual Wielding: Hakumen does this with his no-dachi and a chainsaw. Alyssa did it with Machetes on day 5, during the fight against the Legion.
Journey to the Center of the Mind : The mindscapes—curse zones created unexpectedly by a person's mind. Usually the allies need to travel through dangers and past the person's memories in order to rescue them and destroy the mindscape.
Mundane Utility: Mordecai uses his sniper rifle as a telescope most of the time rather than using it to shoot people.
Nakama: Forming one of these is probably going to be vital for the cast's survival, and the begginings of one are starting to form within the three groups.
Sliding Scale of Silliness Versus Seriousness: In general, as of day 7, Group A's adventures are more on the serious end of the scale, and group B's exploits are sillier—mostly because there are more cartoony characters in Group B.
Talking the Monster to Death: Kyle, Magog, and Rogue manage to talk Memory!Griff out of unleashing the Archdevil. It's especially poignant as those three characters had suffered from experiences similar to Griff's in their respective pasts.
Unwilling Roboticization: Happens to Sub-Zero; villains intend to use him as a weapon against the group, but end up being defeated. The group is unable to reverse the process, but keep Sub-Zero with them as an obedient slave. Later Makuta gives Sub-Zero his free will back, in exchange for his loyalty.
Karzahni's first actions after joining group B are quite malefic, but brutally threatening a little girl (Emily) is what truly pisses the rest of the characters off.
