Yugi's duel with Pegasus begins now, with the fates of Solomon Muto, Seto Kaiba, Mokuba Kaiba, KaibaCorp, his friends, and his own soul on the line! His friends wish him luck, but before the duel can properly start, Ryou Bakura notes that the outcome of the match won't matter at all as long as Pegasus holds his prisoners. Tristan decides to search for Mokuba and Kaiba so Pegasus won't have every advantage, but soon triggers an alarm and is forced to run for it.
The duel goes very poorly for Yugi. While not resorting to Toon World just yet, Pegasus reads Yugi's mind effortlessly and counters every strategy he tries to play, destroying his monsters and leaving his own life points untouched. Yugi is stunned at how easily Pegasus is beating him, and can only hope to turn the duel around somehow.
