Moving their monsters through the dueling maze, Yugi and Joey are able to complement each other's strengths well despite Para and Dox's traps. Victory seems nearly assured, until the Paradox Brothers draw all three pieces of Gate Guardian! This nearly-unstoppable beast is composed of three separate monsters, each with its own unique ability, and its attack power is through the roof.
Meanwhile, Seto Kaiba is attacked by Kemo, but defeats him and orders him to take him through the dungeons to Mokuba. Kemo agrees, but soon triggers an alarm, forcing Kaiba to run for his life. Will he make it to Mokuba in time?

- Giant Spider: Jirai Gumo, which attacks from a booby-trapped floor panel and destroys Axe Raider while also threatening Flame Swordsman. Yugi and Dark Magician destroy it with the Mystic Box, allowing Dark Magician to pull a Big Damn Heroes and save Flame Swordsman from a Labyrinth Tank.
