    Day 1

Day 1 - Deconstructing A Trope

  • 00:00: The female protagonist is chosen and given the default name of Cyan.
  • 00:04: Cyan is tasked with finding firewood for the campfire...
  • 00:06: ...which for some reason takes her into a cave...
  • 00:07: ...and into a minecart. Cyan is separated from her mother!
  • 00:08: Luckily, the first wild Pokémon she runs into decides to join her. It's a female Larvitar, no nickname given. Moves are Scratch and Leer. Also, by this point it has been determined that pressing A when facing the wall of a cave allows Cyan to mine, but only if she has a mining pick, which at the moment she doesn't. Knowing the Mob's predilection for button-mashing, they'll likely be seeing that message a lot.
    • Furthermore, upon Cyan receiving the starter, a member of the mob received a Larvitar badge, the first non-Gen I badge ever handed out since they'd previously only been handed out when Pokémon were obtained in the Pokémon Pinball sidegame. Given the Mob's increased tendencies towards being Sidetracked By The Golden Saucer, this will likely ensure that the Pokédex completion for this run and all runs to follow will be higher than most previous runs without Pokédex completion as a goal.
  • 00:39: Larvitar reaches level 7 and learns Mud-Slap, shortly after the fifth whiteout.
  • 01:16: A segment is reached in which Larvitar itself is controllable, but this segment still has wild encounters and the eighth whiteout of the run soon follows.
  • 01:34: Cyan's Larvitar manages to talk to the other Larvitar, which ran away because it's shy, and gets the Soft Sand. Cyan's Larvitar returns to her, and the cave collapses, but a new path opens up.
  • 01:39: Welcome to Caper City!
  • 01:54: Cyan heads to the snowy route north of Caper City. There are Caterpies every few steps, which is apparently because the encounter rate is bugged.
  • 02:09: Larvitar learns Sandstorm at level 10.
  • 02:16: White out to Caper City, and the game is paused to allow the devs to load a new patch.
  • 02:30: A gatehouse guard starts to stop Cyan from progressing, then realizes that she's Lance's daughter and instead tasks her with dealing with the criminal activity ahead. Because it's totally reasonable to expect a little girl to be able to handle criminals...wait, Cyan's father is who?
  • 02:32: Cyan enters a house where what sounds like villainous team music is playing, and a guy is trying to steal a Bagon. The Bagon's owner tells Cyan to go after him, again because she's Lance's daughter and this makes her qualified to be a heroine despite being only...8 or 9 at most? Yes, the chat consensus is that Cyan is definitely younger than the other hosts.
  • 02:33: The Pokémon thief uses the Bagon against Cyan in battle. It turns out that he's actually the rival for this game, and he's given the name KKKKKKK.
  • 03:22: Back in Caper City, Cyan enters the Pokémon Lab. She meets the Larvitar's trainer, but is told to keep the Larvitar and train to be a great trainer like her father, and given a Pokédex to boot.
  • 03:48: Cyan's first catch is a female Taillow! Moves are Pursuit and Growl, in-game name QYXXWWWVVV, chat name Quickwave or Quixwave.
  • 04:55: Cyan's next capture is a male Ralts, in-game name lMmMMLLIR, chat name Miller.
  • 05:03: Cyan enters Clathrite Tunnel.
  • 05:21: Cyan exits Clathrite Tunnel, reaching Oxalis City.
  • 05:46: Cyan is informed that the Gym Leader of Oxalis City, Josiah, is arrogant, and is told to put him in his place.
  • 05:48: Larvitar reaches level 13 and forgets Mud-Slap for Rock Throw.
  • 05:56: With the money from Gym Trainers, Cyan can afford a makeover, but she ends up changing nothing. Which still costs the same amount of money.
  • 06:16: A level 7 female Marill is captured, in-game name YYYYXOOOOO, chat name Y4, ability Huge Power.
  • 07:07: Gym Leader Josiah attempt #1 begin!
  • 07:07: Gym Leader Josiah defeated! Cyan got the Pyre Badge! Larvitar's Rock Throw OHKOed both of his Pokémon.
  • 07:35: Quickwave reaches Level 8 and Miller reaches Level 7, learning Peck and Confusion respectively.
  • 08:09: A female Vulpix is caught at Level 6, in-game name FFFEEEF, chat name Fifi. This is actually a remarkably balanced team; is it possible that Cyan will never need to use the PC at all?
  • 08:23: ...Not unless a Dawn Stone is available before she needs access to Cut. A male Mareep is caught at Level 8, no nickname given, to fill out the party. Certainly a solid team, but without access to Gallade, someone will eventually need to depart.
  • 08:57: Quickwave learns Twister at Level 10.
  • 09:04: Cyan again fails to change anything after paying 1000 Pokéyen for a makeover.
  • 09:36: Mareep learns Sand-Attack at level 10.
  • 09:46: The TM for Mud-Slap is acquired. TMs are multi-use like in Gen V and beyond.
  • 10:27: Rival Battle #2!
  • 12:01: Rival Battle #2 cleared on the 4th attempt!
  • 13:48: Cyan is in a Very Dark Room. Interacting with a generator in the room reveals that an Electric-type can light it. Good thing she has a Mareep!
  • 13:53: A male Zubat is captured, in-game name ..../.UU(mn. It's sent to the box.
  • 14:33: After hours of calling every Bronzor to appear "shiny", an actual shiny Bronzor appears. Cyan has no Poké Balls, though.
  • 15:07: Palette Pink does not want to be ignored! Battle! Fifi is sent in and goes down to a super-effective attack called Laughing Gas.
  • 17:26: Cyan is informed that she'll need Electric- and Fire-type Pokémon to get through the cave. Done and done.
  • 17:35: A female Shinx is caught, no nickname.
  • 17:55: A male Geodude is caught, in-game name XXNMMMDDEY.
  • 19:08: Mareep reaches level 13 and doesn't learn Cotton Spore.
  • 19:50: Larvitar reaches Level 19 and doesn't learn Dig.
  • 19:56: Vs. Palette Green! ...Wait, Cyan lost to Palette Pink last time; what happened to that battle?
  • 19:58: Cyan loses to Palette Green, too.
  • 20:18: Fifi reaches level 7 and learns Ember.
  • 20:43: Miller reaches level 10 and learns Teleport.
  • 21:06: Y4 reaches level 10 and learns Double Slap, which is a Fairy-type move in this game, while Quickwave reaches level 13 and deletes Twister for Quick Attack.
  • 22:00: In the Battle Tent, in Democracy, Cyan wins a Cyndaquil! She tries to deposit Fifi to withdraw it, but Anarchy kicks in to prevent this.
  • 23:07: Mareep reaches level 15 and evolves into Flaafy on the first try!
  • 23:58: Palette Green is challenged again.

    Day 2

Day 2 - The Cave of KAPOW!

  • 00:53: Palette Green is challenged for the third time. Larvitar grows to Level 20, but then faints.
  • 00:56: Palette Green is defeated, with Y4 growing to Level 12 upon beating the final Pokémon. Despite being fainted, Larvitar evolves to Pupitar as a result of her earlier levelup. Cyan also picks up Dynamite.
  • 03:01: The devs take control of the stream to fix another bug. Chat refers to this as "dictator mode".
  • 04:31: Y4 reaches Level 13 and forgets Water Gun for Sing.
  • 06:22: Fifi reaches Level 10 and learns Roar, giving Cyan a second way to avoid wild Pokémon battles as she'd already been Teleporting from them with Miller.
  • 07:58: Flaafy is used to light up another cave.
  • 08:04: Oh. Vs. Palette Pink! Cyan easily wins this time and gets more Dynamite.
  • 08:49: Vs. Palette Black now! Cyan loses.
  • 09:32: Palette Black is challenged again and defeated, and this, too, yields Dynamite.
  • 09:51: Palette Yellow is challenged now and defeated on the first try, yielding even more Dynamite.
  • 11:17: Flaafy forgets Tackle for Light Screen at Level 17.
  • 11:42: Chat enters democracy mode to go for the makeover.
  • 11:52: Cyan's color palette has successfully been set to cyan! Now to examine the different player models.
  • 11:59: The decision is made to retain the current player model.
  • 12:16: Cyan buys 68 Brick Pieces, then buys one more.
  • 12:37: Miller reaches Level 13 and replaces Teleport with Draining Kiss.
  • 13:24: Democracy is engaged with the intention of teaching TMs. It is discovered that everyone in the party can learn Swift, so Flaafy and Fifi both forget Growl to learn it.
  • 16:59: The reason that a Fire-type would also be needed is finally revealed: to light the Dynamite and blow up a blockage in the path.
  • 17:06: Y4 reaches level 16 and tries to learn Future Sight, but isn't allowed to.
  • 17:12: Cyan reaches Spurge City.
  • 18:4?: Fifi reaches Level 13 and replaces Tri Attack with Spite. No one is exactly sure when she even learned Tri Attack, but it was probably during a democracy session as that comes from a TM.
  • 19:00: Vs. Palette Red!
  • 19:03: Pupitar reaches Level 23 and replaces Leer with Bite.
  • 19:07: Cyan arrives in Heath Village and heals at an inn.
  • 19:39: A male Buneary is captured at Level 13, in-game name EEEE.
  • 19:42: Miller reaches Level 16 and replaces Mud-Slap with Sing.
  • 19:43: The TM for Body Slam is picked up.
  • 20:??: Quickwave reaches level 16 and learns Focus Energy over Growl, while Y4 fails to learn Bubblebeam at Level 19. Also, despite having wild encounters, Cyan is apparently in a Gym.
  • 20:45: Fifi reaches level 16 and learns Faint Attack over Spite.
  • 22:04: Fifi reaches level 19 and learns Fire Spin over Quick Attack.
  • 22:12: Vs. Leader Rinji! She leads with a Lombre, which uses Water Gun to take down Fifi.
  • 22:14: Y4 uses Sing to put Lombre to sleep and takes it out, but Rinji's Tangela sweeps the rest of the team, using Sleep Powder to take Quickwave out of commission before she takes her out.
  • 22:48: Attempt #2 against Rinji begins. Fifi leads off, but Pupitar is switched in as Lombre uses Hail.
  • 22:50: Lombre goes down to Pupitar's Scratch, and Fifi reaches Level 22 and forgets Ember for Confuse Ray.
  • 22:51: Flaafy comes in after Pupitar is taken out and beats Tangela. Rinji's last Pokémon is Ivysaur.
  • 22:53: Y4 gets poisoned, but takes Ivysaur out! Nature Badge and HM01 acquired!
  • 22:58: Flaafy learns Spark over Sand-Attack at Level 21.
  • 23:55: Cyan arrives back in Spurge City and attempts to activate democracy in order to obtain a Pokémon that can use Cut.

    Day 3

Day 3 - Basically Just Playing Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Now

  • 00:18: The plan was initially to try again to deposit Fifi, probably to grab that Cyndaquil, but a skipped input causes Quickwave to be deposited instead.
  • 00:22: As such, EEEE the Buneary is withdrawn, being given the chat nicknames "E4", "Engarde", or "Bun-E".
  • 00:34: In democracy, Bun-E replaces Defense Curl with Cut, and then replaces Encore with Body Slam. Body Slam taught via TM counter: 1
  • 00:51: The first trainer faced after cutting down the tree blocking Cyan's path has a Swellow, and its Quick Attacks make quick work of Bun-E. Chat is calling it Taillow's Revenge.
  • 01:36: Y4 reaches level 21 during a trainer battle, allowing her to evolve into Azumarill at the end of the battle.
  • 01:47: Cyan reaches Laurel City. An old man won't get out of the way of a cave's entrance unless she can beat the city's Gym Leader.
  • 02:00: Another game reset to load the latest patch.
  • 02:13: Cyan obtains a Fossil Case!
  • 02:20: Cyan enters the Gym, which is castle-themed. A cheerleader insults Cyan before challenging her to a battle.
  • 02:26: Miller forgets Swift for Dream Eater at Level 19.
  • 02:28: The next trainer's Jigglypuff uses a move called "Power Ballad" to defeat Miller.
  • 02:34: The leader is reached, but she won't battle Cyan until her missing Totodile is found.
  • 02:55: Now on a route, Y4 gets infatuated by a Volbeat's Attract and is prevented from attacking 6 straight times.
  • 03:08: Cyan enters Laurel Forest. It turns out to be another area where you play as your Pokémon, so Bun-E is sent in.
  • 03:23: Bun-E faints to a wild Bellsprout, getting sent back to the beginning of the area. No money is lost. The chat decides to use this as an opportunity to grind Bun-E.
  • 03:39: Bun-E reaches level 16 and forgets Quick Attack for Power Ballad. Chat decides that he might actually be a Pokémonified Artemis Haze, who had an association with bunnies and dressed like a rock star for Pokémon Contests.
  • 04:33: Bun-E reaches level 19 and replaces Body Slam with Agility.
  • 04:57: A wild Butterfree has lost his child and joins the party so we can find it. Recognizing the reference, the chat rechristens Laurel Forest "PMD Forest".
  • 05:15: The Caterpie is successfully found and Butterfree leaves the party, but Bun-E was fainted at the time. Upon entering a wild encounter, Bun-E has a glitched sprite. Chat decides that Bun-E is a zombie and gives it another nickname, this one related to OLDEN.
  • 05:27: Laurel Forest exited.
  • 05:33: Democracy engaged.
  • 05:36: Bun-E replaces Agility with Swift.
  • 05:40: Bun-E replaces Foresight with Body Slam. Body Slam taught via TM counter: 2
  • 05:43: Democracy wears off, but a flurry of A inputs in anarchy allows the action that chat was trying to accomplish at the time to be done anyway. Fifi learns Tri Attack over Confuse Ray.
  • 05:45: Bun-E is sent back into Laurel Forest for more grinding. He apparently has his own separate Bag, with a Curo Shard picked up earlier.
  • 06:04: Bun-E loses a plot-relevant battle to a Wartortle, but the game glitches out and treats it as though Bun-E won. Streamer immediately hacks in an HP, then suggests that the chat black out so a proper patch can be applied. It takes over 20 minutes to do so.
  • 07:00: Bun-E reaches Level 22 and learns Charm over Body Slam.
  • 09:49: Bun-E finally collects a third Curo Shard.
  • 10:57: Scientist #13 and his Kadabra are defeated.
  • 11:09: Scientist #07 is defeated on the second attempt, and Bun-E reaches Level 26.
  • 11:11: The Gym Leader's lost Totodile is found! Mission complete!
  • 11:24: After a bout of democracy, anarchy kicks in in time for Miller to replace Dream Eater with Swift.
  • 11:29: Miller is sent into PMD Forest.
  • 11:50: Miller reaches Level 20 and evolves into Kirlia! It still has Ralts's sprite, but that's expected to change at the next whiteout.
  • 14:02: Miller reaches Level 23 and replaces Sing with Future Sight, depriving Bun-E of one of his backup singers.
  • 14:54: Vs. Gym Leader Brooklyn! She uses Fairy-types.
  • 14:57: Brooklyn defeated on the first try! Also her Totodile joins Cyan, because apparently Brooklyn is really annoying.
  • 15:30: In a cave, a person tells us that the cave is shaped like a Magikarp and that he will clear the path in the forest if Cyan completes his trial, which involves becoming a Magikarp. Luckily the Mob has experience with playing as a Magikarp girl.
  • 15:32: Found 4 Water Stones! Somewhere, the last host must be twitching.
  • 15:46: Already, Cyan has failed 42 times.
  • 16:00: Now 69.
  • 16:15: Now 100.
  • 16:55: Now 151.
  • 17:14: Mystic Water acquired, but the failure count is at 186.
  • 17:45: Chat is now counting the failures in Pokémon, and has reached Celebi.
  • 18:45: Chat has long since stopped counting the failures.
  • 21:57: Success! Trial of the Magikarp completed!
  • 22:24: A senile old woman gives Cyan a Stick.
  • 22:33: The Name Rater's house is entered, which is also a democracy house. Demo is used to shuffle the party, but disengaged before talking to the Name Rater.
  • 22:48: Pupitar is renamed I!C, chat name "I See!". This either marks her as The Watson or denotes that she previously had poor vision.
  • 23:11: Back to Laurel Forest for a bit. A very little bit.
  • 23:26: Flaafy, Cyan's last Pokémon, faints, but because the last "checkpoint" was the entrance to Laurel Forest, that's where Cyan ends up. Since Fifi was the first Pokémon in the party, she gets cloned over Flaafy, and the game has to be stopped in order to fix this glitch.

    Day 4

Day 4 - Reassuring Gravestones

  • 00:00: A Clefairy won't let Cyan pass, but will let I!C through, so we're controlling her again.
  • 00:11: And back in control of Cyan.
  • 01:09: In the Torenia City Gym, talking to the Gym Leader. But as usual, the gym challenge must wait.
  • 01:53: Y4 does not learn Rollout.
  • 02:50: Following some party order swaps in Democracy, TMs are used in Anarchy to teach Bun-E Body Slam and Rage over Power Ballad and Swift. Body Slam taught via TM counter: 3
  • 02:59: Cyan takes a train to Botan City, in Rijon, immediately returns to Naljo, then heads back to Rijon. Kanto and Johto were also options in the menu, but Cyan needs a Magnet Pass to visit either of those regions.
  • 03:27: Cyan whites out back to Torenia City, in Naljo.
  • 03:31: And takes the train back to Rijon.
  • 04:10: Fifi reaches Level 25 and replaces Swift with Zen Headbutt.
  • 04:14: The Blue Gravestone is pressed, but never sounds right. Whatever that means.
  • 04:47: I!C fails to learn Ancientpower at Level 27.
  • 04:52: Another ROM update.
  • 04:54: A girl tells Cyan that the correct order to talk to the gravestones is Red, Grey, Blue, Yellow, Brown, Teal.
  • 05:17: A graveyard of Purple Gravestones is found.
  • 05:21: The Grey Gravestone is found. Cyan turns away.
  • 05:28: The Red Gravestone is found and talked to repeatedly. The first time "sounds reassuring", but the second "doesn't sound right", and each successive time alternates between the two. This means that talking to the same Gravestone twice in a row will automatically fail the puzzle again, and as such, the Mob must talk to each gravestone exactly once. This could take awhile.
  • 05:42: The Grey Gravestone is talked to. It sounds reassuring.
  • 05:50: The Blue Gravestone is talked to. More than once. Back to the beginning of the puzzle.
  • 06:13: With the Red Gravestone's status reassuring, Bun-E reaches level 28 and forgets Body Slam for Drain Punch.
  • 06:22: The Grey Gravestone is reassuring.
  • 06:29: The Blue Gravestone is reassuring.
  • 06:40: The Yellow Gravestone is found near a tower. It's talked to too many times, resetting the puzzle.
  • 08:00: The Red Gravestone reassures Cyan again.
  • 08:09: The puzzle is reset again.
  • 08:19: Blackout to Torenia City.
  • 08:27: Back in Botan City, the game is paused in the Poké Mart to load a new patch.
  • 08:45: The Red Gravestone reassures Cyan yet again.
  • 08:55: As does the Grey.
  • 09:02: And the Blue.
  • 09:10: Yellow Gravestone Reassuring! Select buffering allows Cyan to get through the puzzle!
  • 09:26: The Brown Gravestone sounds reassuring! One more to go!
  • 09:36: Cyan talks to the Teal Gravestone and receives the Mansion Key.
  • 09:46: A Spell Tag and a Rare Candy are acquired.
  • 09:57: Cyan gets the Bedroom Key.
  • 10:00: Flaafy does not learn Thunder Wave at Level 29.
  • 10:34: Whiteout back to Torenia.
  • 10:53: Back in Botan City, Flaafy evolves into Ampharos at level 30!
  • 11:32: Cyan gets another Bedroom Key.
  • 11:40: There's a room with a Gengar. Talking to it sends Cyan to a strange place, which chat compares to Rainbow Road.
  • 11:47: There's a guy with cyan clothes, says we're in "dementia".
  • 11:48: Cyan leaves "dementia" and spawns in the wall of a building, but is able to walk out. In a town that resembles New Bark Town, but with the S.S. Aqua's music.
  • 11:51: Another guy in cyan clothes in the corner of town tells Cyan she's lucid dreaming.
  • 11:53: Back in the bed in the mansion.
  • 12:28: Fifi reaches level 28 and replaces Tri Attack with Will-o-Wisp.
  • 14:44: Democracy engaged. When it ends 10 minutes later, Y4 has forgotten Tackle, I!C has forgotten Scratch, and Bun-E has forgotten Charm. Body Slam taught via TM counter: 6
  • 15:02: Laurel Forest entered yet again, this time with Miller.
  • 15:55: Chat goes into emote-only mode because a serious glitch has been found and no one with the ability to fix it is available. Apparently Cyan's full party of 6 is still present when it shouldn't be. Normally, when entering a Pokémon-only zone, the second party member is backed up and all further members are just hidden, but since that didn't happen here, if a Guest-Star Party Member were to join, the game, assuming that we have a party of 1, would rewrite the party to be the new party of 2, potentially writing the other five party members out of existence.
  • 16:33: Devs take control of the stream to fix the issue, and the chat gets to see debug mode in action.
  • 16:44: Inputs enabled; potentially devastating glitch neutralized.
  • 17:46: Back in Laurel Forest, confirming that the fix worked.
  • 17:55: Miller reaches Level 27 and learns Signal Beam over Swift.
  • 19:51: Vs. Torenia City Gym Leader Edison!
  • 19:55: Edison defeated! Midnight Badge obtained!
  • 20:49: ROM resets repeatedly, loading the wrong saves a few times.
  • 21:19: Cyan buys 8 mining picks.
  • 21:47: In democracy, Rare Candies are used on Miller to bring him from Level 29 to Level 31, teaching him Hypnosis over Draining Kiss and evolving him into a Gardevoir.
  • 21:51: Still in democracy, Bun-E forgets Body Slam for Metronome via TM.
  • 22:31: A Sapphire Egg is found in the grass.
  • 23:10: HM 02 is obtained!

    Day 5

Day 5 - What's Ores Is Mine

  • 01:43: According to the Hayward Lab of Paleoseismology, the recent surge of bad earthquakes isn't authentic, and the first strange earthquake hit about 5 years ago near Goldenrod City, in Johto. Then Cyan is sent back to Torenia City.
  • ~ 03:00: Rival Battle #3 beaten!
  • 03:56: Cyan eavesdrops on the Palette Patrol.
  • 03:59: Bun-E reaches level 31 and replaces Drain Punch with Sweet Kiss.
  • 04:10: Vs. Palette Yellow!
  • 04:17: And Palette Yellow defeated. Cyan falls into a pit, and in the process, into a sidescroller.
  • 05:17: The TM for Seismic Toss is discovered.
  • 05:20: Pulling a switch 5 times makes a wall disappear. A sign says "sic parvis magna".
  • 05:26: Old Rod obtained!
  • 05:29: Battling Palette Pink again! Her Jigglypuff takes out Ampharos, and Y4 gets stuck on Tail Whip against her Sylveon, allowing it to set up with Calm Mind and sweep the rest of the team.
  • 06:15: Vs. Palette Blue this time!
  • 06:28: Only Ampharos is still standing when Palette Blue finally goes down. Apparently he's an intern and feels dissatisfied with his prospects for advancement in this organization.
  • 06:33: Ampharos fires off Spark after Spark and sweeps Palette Pink. She laments that we don't see the Palette Patrol as a threat and tells us that Palette Red is trying to collect orb shards from around the region.
  • 06:38: The Yellow Switch is pulled repeatedly. Nothing seems to happen. Oh no, this is the gravestones all over again.
  • 07:14: The switch puzzle is finally solved, and Cyan climbs a ladder.
  • 07:19: And descends another. Back to sidescroller mode!
  • 07:23: Two Red Switches are pulled. A sign says "invictus maneo".
  • 07:25: Palette Black is challenged and quickly finishes off Cyan's weakened team. This also resets the switch puzzle.
  • 08:50: Palette Black is reached again with a full team.
  • 09:02: And still beats Cyan.
  • ??:??: Cyan defeats Palette Black and gets the Jumping Shoes, which allow her to jump one-tile gaps in sidescroller mode. She also acquires a Dawn Stone, roughly half a day too late to obtain a Gallade.
  • 12:35: Palette Green defeats Cyan.
  • 13:28: Palette Green challenged again.
  • 13:41: Cyan wins this time.
  • 13:49: Officer Remy challenges Cyan, as he's guarding this area and heard a criminal was mistreating Pokémon, and Cyan fits the description. Remy also gives a description of the person who gave him this information, and it matches KKKKKKK.
  • 14:40: Officer Remy rematched, as he won the first time.
  • 14:43: Officer Remy defeated, he recruits Cyan for an undercover mission. Now she's Palette Cyan!
  • 14:56: Move Deleter found. The Mob nearly deletes Y4's Body Slam, but aborts it in time.
  • 15:05: An officer is blocking the path onward and tells Cyan to complete her mission. Another potential exit to the city yields another officer with the same dialogue.
  • 15:36: Y4 does not learn Dizzy Punch at Level 34.
  • 15:49: Palette Black is following "Palette Cyan" because he can't find Red and Cyan says she'll lead him to him.
  • 15:53: So naturally we instead lead him to a cop. Palette Black arrested! Cyan loses her Palette Patrol disguise.
  • 16:09: In democracy, the Mob gives Miller the Dawn Stone. As a held item.
  • 17:01: Cyan enters the Phacelia Gym.
  • 17:22: Only Miller is still standing as Cyan challenges the leader, Andre—unsurprising, since it's a Fighting-type Gym and Miller takes 1/4 damage from Fighting-type attacks. Unfortunately, the Mob selects the ineffective Signal Beam a few times and Miller's resistance doesn't cover Seismic Toss. Machoke wins the duel.
  • 17:28: Andre attempt #2! Fifi leads, but uses the ineffective Feint Attack; though she eventually switches to her super-effective Zen Headbutt, it's too late as Mach Punch takes her out before she can use it.
  • 17:30: Miller comes in, uses Confusion, finishes off Machoke. Andre sends in a Lucario, but Miller's Confusion confuses it; it uses Iron Defense, then Metal Claw. Miller's Hypnosis lands, but the Mob can't get off of the move in time and it wakes up and Metal Claws again, then finishes Miller with Quick Attack.
  • 17:31: Y4 comes in, only to be replaced by Bun-E who deals some damage but falls; Ampharos comes in, confuses it with Confuse Ray, and eventually wins.
  • 17:33: Gallade comes in, gets paralyzed by Ampharos's Static when it hits X-Scissor, crits with a second X-Scissor only for Swift to crit it right back, and thanks to a clutch paralysis, Ampharos gets the win.
  • 17:34: Y4 is sent in against Machamp and uses Body Slam, to which the Machamp Bulks Up. Then it happens again. Then the Defense boosts that Bulk Up provides were conveniently ignored when the third Body Slam was a critical hit. Cyan got the Muscle Badge and HM05 (Rock Smash)!
  • 18:22: 12 more Mining Picks bought. Cyan quickly finds a place to mine and gets a Heart Scale, Ore, and Gold Dust. Cyan's Mining Level is now 2!
  • 18:25: 2 gold dusts, another ore, another heart scale, a coal, and an Everstone later, it's now level 3!
  • 18:34: 10 more mining picks bought.
  • 18:35: 2 coals, 2 ores, 1 Revive, and 1 Fire Stone acquired via mining. Now Cyan's mining level is 4!
  • 18:50: Cyan heads to the nearest demo house, but is still an hour away from being able to get democracy.
  • 18:56: Fifi reaches Level 31 and replaces Feint Attack with Flare Blitz. Then she faints to a Pineco.
  • 19:31: After Fifi faints again following some healing, Bun-E finishes off the Skorupi she lost to, reaching Level 33. This allows him to replace Rage with Dizzy Punch and evolve into Lopunny.
  • 19:58: I!C reaches level 32 and replaces Rock Throw with Iron Defense.
  • 20:06: Democracy begins.
  • 20:09: The Fire Stone mined an hour and a half ago is successfully selected and used. Fifi is now a Ninetales!
  • 20:13: I!C learns Rock Smash, replacing Sandstorm.
  • 20:34: Behind a smashable rock, Calcium is obtained.
  • 20:43: Behind another, Cyan finds the TM for Dig.
  • 20:58: And now she has another TM: Rollout. Chat is already anticipating teaching it to Y4.
  • 21:01: Cyan enters Magma Cavern.
  • 22:00: I!C narrowly manages to clutch out a victory against Cooltrainer Butch, then immediately faints to the next wild Pokémon to cause a whiteout.
  • 22:22: Buying and selling; 12 Mining Picks now possessed. Mining begins almost immediately.
  • 22:30: In Magma Caverns, Cyan still has picks, and gets a Leaf Stone and an Ore. Cyan grew to Mining Level 5!
  • 23:06: Y4 forgot Body Slam and learned Hydro Pump at Level 38.

    Day 6

Day 6 - The Most Absolute Xenophobes Ever!

  • 00:35: A ConfuseGuard is found. It seems to be a held item that makes its holder immune to confusion.
  • 00:40: A stable minecart is found. Cyan can now instantly travel between Mound Cave, Clathrite Tunnels, Acqua Mines, and Magma Caverns. And does so repeatedly.
  • 01:41: Entering Provincial Park. Only Miller is standing.
  • 01:52: Cyan is now broke after a whiteout to Phacelia.
  • 02:06: In democracy, I!C replaces Iron Defense with Dig and Bun-E replaces Dizzy Punch with Body Slam. Body Slam taught via TM counter: 7
  • 02:37: Back in Magma Caverns, Cyan collects 12 ash. Then 10, 10, 19, 16, 13, 10, and 12. Cyan's smelting level is now 2!
  • 02:52: Fifi reaches Level 34 and replaces Zen Headbutt with Pain Split.
  • 03:14: Bun-E is Level 35 and doesn't learn Frustration.
  • 03:23: Good Rod obtained.
  • 03:31: A trainer's Manectric uses Roar twice, so Y4 sings to it.
  • 03:32: Once she takes out the Manectric, Miller reaches level 37 and fails to learn Zen Headbutt.
  • 04:12: Cyan tries to enter the Park Challenge, but can't afford to.
  • 04:36: Cyan talks to a man who won't build a bridge without a good reason.
  • 04:48: Ampharos learns Wild Charge over Thundershock at Level 39.
  • 04:50: An ex-Team Rocket member is encountered in a Pokémon Center.
  • 05:03: An Aggron in a house tries to join the party, but can't because it's full.
  • 05:10: A sign is read. It displays a QR code.
  • 07:49: In democracy, Fifi is placed in the daycare and Miller learns Tri Attack over Hypnosis.
  • 09:46: The Aggron joins the party. It's level 40 with the moves Steel Eater, Rock Slide, Iron Tail, and Power Ballad. The PC is now down for maintenance.
  • 11:29: Aggron leaves the party again.
  • 11:42: Palette Pink defeated again.
  • 11:59: Exposition! The Palette Patrol are trying to resurrect the Guardians of Naljo to return it to the idyllic and nature-filled place it used to be, but what they don't know is that the guardians will kill anyone who isn't the direct descendants of first-generation Naljoans.
  • 14:08: Fifi returns from the daycare, but I!C is briefly deposited. She's quickly retrieved.
  • 14:23: Anarchy returns before the Mob can teach Tri Attack to Fifi again.
  • 17:32: In Magma Caverns, Palette Blue is challenged.
  • 17:36: And defeated.
  • 17:49: Now it's Red's turn to battle Cyan.
  • 17:53: Palette Red loses, too, but Cyan's apparently too late! The Palette Patrol are bickering, and reveal that they plan to revive the Naljo Guardian Varaneous. Varaneous attacks them, sniffs Cyan, steals the other guardians' orbs, and runs off as the police arrive.
  • 18:00: More exposition! Lance is the reincarnation of The Messenger, who was the link between the 4 guardians (each of whom has an orb) and the humans and Pokémon of Naljo. Lance is too obsessed with fame and money to do his job as Messenger, though, so Cyan must tame the guardians before they kill everyone.
  • 18:23: Cyan enters the Provincial Park Challenge. Then she throws away all of her Park Balls and exits it.
  • 18:52: Cyan gives some brick pieces to the guy, who builds the bridge instantly. Now entering Acania Dock. Cyan still has 44 Brick Pieces.
  • 19:00: A weird pink thing is blocking a path in the Gym.
  • 19:09: Another path is blocked by suspiciously toxic-looking gas. How is this place safe?
  • 19:12: Gym Leader Ayaka challenged! This is apparently the Gas-type gym.
  • 19:14: Ayaka's Torkoal takes out Miller with Mustard Gas. Chat is justifiably freaked out.
  • 19:18: White out.
  • 19:27: Attempt #2.
  • 19:31: Bun-E uses a move called "Final Chance" via Metronome. Apparently, it fully heals the user for 3 turns straight, but then knocks out the user once the three turns are up.
  • 19:37: Ayaka's last Pokémon, Weezing, manages to poison Ampharos, and the poison takes him down one turn before he can secure victory for Cyan.
  • 19:47: The third attempt ends in victory, though. Cyan gets TM 06 and the Haze Badge.
  • 19:51: A guy in yellow gives Cyan the TM for Thunder Wave.
  • 19:59: In Democracy, Y4 forgets Sing for Body Slam. Body Slam taught via TM counter: 8
  • 20:04: And Fifi forgets Pain Split for Tri Attack.
  • 20:09: TM 44 obtained.
  • 20:27: In a lighthouse, an NPC gives Cyan HM 03 (Surf)!
  • 20:51: Bun-E reaches Level 40 and, just like when he reached Level 28, replaces Body Slam with Drain Punch. Why the heck does it learn that move twice?
  • 21:39: I!C fails to learn Earth Power at Level 39.
  • 21:56: At level 37, Fifi forgets Fire Spin for Nasty Plot. The rest of the day is spent grinding the lowest-leveled members of the party.

    Day 7

Day 7 - Insecurity Hall

  • 00:30: Fifi fails to learn Dark Pulse at Level 40.
  • 00:55: In democracy, Y4 forgets Mud-Slap and learns Surf, and Bun-E forgets Sweet Kiss and learns Body Slam. Body Slam taught via TM counter: 9
  • 01:15: At level 42, Y4 gains Perish Song in place of Icy Wind.
  • 01:36: A Dragon Scale is acquired.
  • 01:49: Inputs freeze. They're restored quickly.
  • 03:05: A defeated Swimmer is talking about fugitives being killed since she escaped from prison.
  • 03:18: The TM for Thunder is picked up from a one-tile island.
  • 04:04: Since blacking out to the wild Pokémon in the area is failing, Cyan heals. Twice. But only after refusing healing four times.
  • 04:16: I!C reaches Level 40 and tries to evolve, but can't.
  • 04:45: A Wailmer uses the move Lewisite. Chat views it as "Lewd Site" and starts making "naughty url" jokes.
  • 05:04: Miller forgets Tri Attack and learns Encore.
  • 05:13: Apparently this is the Badge Check gate? Cyan's still two badges short, though.
  • 05:45: Democracy is used to revert the party's movesets to what they were the last time democracy was used.
  • 06:19: I!C reaches level 41, forgets Dig for Scary Face, and evolves into Tyranitar. Cyan's party is fully evolved!
  • 06:47: Bun-E reaches Level 44 and replaces Body Slam with Sweet Kiss. Hopefully there should be only one more redundant level-up move learn, since there weren't that many more moves he learned before evolving into Lopunny.
  • 09:24: Cyan can't enter a cave without a Naljo ID. She picks up a TM for Noise Pulse, then whites out.
  • 09:40: Cyan heals in an oasis. Repeatedly. Then she enters Clathrite Tunnel, and there's an ice palace. Cyan can't enter because it's too cold.
  • 10:44: Palette Yellow is defeated again.
  • 13:??: Fifi forgets Will-O-Wisp for Flamethrower, and Cyan gets the Gas Mask.
  • 15:08: Cyan defeats Palette Green again.
  • 15:26: Bun-E forgets Sweet Kiss and Y4 forgets Charm. Body Slam taught via TM counter: 11
  • 16:11: The TM for Dragonbreath is acquired.
  • 18:25: A Red Jewel is acquired.
  • 19:09: The Prism Jewel is acquired by inserting four jewels into a treasure chest.
  • 19:29: The Prism Jewel is exchanged for a Fake ID.
  • 19:40: With the Fake ID, Cyan is admitted into the prison. The guard says it's like a zoo with less rights.
  • 19:52: A guy says that battles aren't usually allowed in the prison. Chat wonders why prisoners are still allowed to keep their Pokémon.
  • 19:57: And now it's implied that it's a prison for abused Pokémon that would be a danger to others because of their trauma.
  • 19:59: Another guard stops Cyan, realizing her ID is fake. A sign says "Don't try and jump and escape. Don't forget, you're here forever."
  • 20:03: Thanks to the Jumping Shoes, Cyan does just that. She runs into Palette Black, who gives Cyan an update on the whereabouts of various team members and gives her the key to her cell.
  • 20:20: The key doesn't work on other cells, though. Also there's a password-protected door, and no entry screen, so it's clear that there's no way to avoid finding it properly.
  • 20:31: Another Cage Key is found.
  • 20:34: Also a Fluffy Coat.
  • 20:39: More Cage Keys.
  • 20:50: A graphical glitch occurs.
  • 20:55: A pool room is discovered with 4 pools. A man in the room says people lose their things in the pool and encourages Cyan to take what she needs from there.
  • 21:07: Cyan finds a Cage Key while swimming.
  • 21:14: Cyan frees Palette Black, who gives her the Roof Card and tells her that she'll find the door password up there.
  • 21:19: Into the weight room! A nurse heals the party.
  • 21:30: A tough guy in the weight room gives Cyan a key.
  • 21:47: The prize for victory in a trainer battle is another Cage Key.
  • 22:18: I!C reaches level 50, forgets Dust Devil for Crunch.
  • 22:38: The current is still too strong to Surf away.
  • 22:50: I!C is given Black Glasses and Bun-E is given a Polkadot Bow.
  • 22:58: Palette Blue is here too.
  • 23:11: Now for an "avoid the guards" sequence.
  • 23:23: There are Electric-types maintaining an electric chair. Cyan defeats the Electric-types and grabs a key from the now-harmless chair.
  • 23:55: A cage key is used to reveal a trainer, who gives Cyan a replacement upon defeat.

    Day 8

Day 8 - Jolteon-Approved Programming

  • 00:09: Prisoners in the weight room give some backstory. The island used to be a place where Pokémon and people could coexist until the prison was built.
  • 00:11: A Cage Key is used, revealing a trainer. As per usual, he gives us a replacement upon defeat.
  • 00:25: And another.
  • 00:27: And yet another. Cooltrainer Conner says he's happy he doesn't have to pay his student loans in prison. Yeah, it's no wonder this game got a cease-and-desist from Nintendo; this is not at all in line with the kid-friendly image that this franchise has.
  • 00:30: Fifi reaches Level 46 and forgets Nasty Plot for Hypnosis.
  • 00:33: The Cooltrainer calls Cyan a sensible young man, confusing chat, and tells her to go to the upper floor, where the guards drink and smoke, as one of them might be drunk enough to tell us the password out of here.
  • 00:48: Cyan goes to the door and shouts "Wigglytruffles" at it, and it opens.
  • 00:52: Vs Rival KKKKKKK! He's beaten, and he says he'll battle us "the way he desires" next time and gives Cyan the HM for Strength. Also, this area has imprisoned Pokémon.
  • 01:08: Caught by a guard; back in the cell.
  • 01:22: Healed up again. Also, the official name for this island is Saxifrage Island.
  • 02:23: Found a Revive in a tree.
  • 02:52: Democracy is used to delete Y4's Icy Wind in favor of Strength.
  • 02:59: As democracy ends, Revocracy begins. Time for a new version of the ROM! ...Except inputs are still building up, so they fly by when control is returned to chat, and none of them can actually register. Chat makes jokes about the input speed being so [[Film/Spaceballs ludicrous that they go to plaid.]]
  • 03:14: Entering Saxifrage Island Gym! It's a Sound-type gym.
  • 03:27: Vs. Leader Cadence!
  • 03:28: And there it is. Bun-E forgets Body Slam for Dizzy Punch.
  • 03:30: Raucous Badge acquired, along with the TM for Hyper Voice!
  • 05:49: 205 Poké Balls purchased! Also, at some point, Y4 fails to learn Play Rough.
  • 07:??: Democracy is used to teach Miller Hyper Voice.
  • 08:29: Miller reaches level 47 and forgets Confusion for Heal Bell.
  • 09:02: Which is then replaced with Noise Pulse.
  • 10:39: Time for ice puzzles!
  • 11:11: In the icy cave, the TM for Dragon Claw is obtained.
  • 12:19: Blackout back to Heath Village.
  • 13:58: Back to the "final boss" of the icy cave. Cyan wins this time.
  • 14:12: TM for Steel Eater is acquired.
  • 14:19: Chat suddenly notices that there are male Froslass in this game. Oops.
  • 14:36: Healed up in Phlox Town Pokémon Center.
  • 14:59: A Rhydon is blocking an exit in Acqua Mines. It's level 50 and shiny. Cyan catches it.
  • 15:14: Officer Dean gives Cyan a Lab Card after she defeats him.
  • 15:23: Vs. Scientist No. 09.
  • 15:36: And No. 10. Also, switch puzzles.
  • 15:53: Scientist No. 07 has a Ditto!
  • 15:58: Scientist No. 08 is battled, followed by...Palette Yellow!
  • 16:05: TM for Dark Pulse obtained.
  • 16:14: Cage Card 4 is obtained, and Scientist No. 06 is battled.
  • 16:37: I!C does not learn Earthquake at Level 55. Cyan continues to free the caged Pokémon.
  • 16:42: Vs. Palette Green! He says he just wants financial stability and doesn't care if he has to do unethical things to get there.
  • 16:51: Vs. Palette Green, attempt #2!
  • 17:17: Ampharos falls victim to the enemy scientist's Gardevoir's Hypnosis. Then gets hit with Encore while sleeping, but it still works and Ampharos is stuck using only Wild Charge when it wakes up.
  • 17:18: Defeating the Gardevoir brings Ampharos to Level 49, and he forgets Wild Charge for Power Gem. This is not enough to end the Encore, however, so Ampharos is still stuck using an ineffective Wild Charge against Magneton.
  • 17:30: Whiteout against Scientist No. 01.
  • 18:16: In democracy, Bun-E forgets Dizzy Punch for Body Slam. Body Slam taught via TM counter: 12
  • 18:20: And Ampharos forgets Confuse Ray for Thunder.
  • 18:23: Cyan receives a Bingo Card with accomplishments like "find your rival's secret hiding place", "Revive a fossil", "Obtain 20 badges", and something about orphans.
  • 18:43: Cyan meets 𝕸𝖞𝖑𝖊𝖘 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝕲𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖙 (actually just rendered as "Myles the Great" in the usual font in-game, but stylized among the community), an NPC with an overinflated opinion of himself. He also tells Cyan to read a laminated article behind him. The article reads: "This guy found another guy in a cave, and the first guy asked us to write an article about it. The End." No mention of Myles by name or anything.
  • 18:56: Cyan finally manages to stop talking to Myles the Great.
  • 19:30: Cyan enters a Wild Ride, but with color-coded directions and numbered distances flung.
  • 22:36: Into the Desert Cave!
  • 23:32: Game Corner! Cyan plays until she can hit the jackpot.

    Day 9

Day 9 - Not One But Two Boss Rushes

  • 01:00: Cyan enters the Caper Town Gym and is immediately able to talk to the Gym Leader, who asks her if she's ready to fight for the badge. Then he drops her into a pit without any of her Pokémon. She'll get them back in ascending order of levels.
  • 01:03: Cyan pays 400 Pokéyen to be transported out of the challenge by the Abra Man from Crystal, then immediately goes back in.
  • 01:43: Bun-E is recovered, joining Ampharos.
  • 01:54: Vs. Josiah! He's much stronger than he was originally.
  • 02:24: Vs. Josiah again; this time Fifi was the second to rejoin the party so evidently Bun-E must have leveled up during the updater dead spot. Ampharos takes out his Charizard with Power Gem and reaches Level 50. Shortly thereafter, Josiah is defeated.
  • 02:36: A Poké Ball is found, but is blocked off by a red door. Cyan must find the switch to open it.
  • 02:52: It contained Miller!
  • 03:00: Bun-E also returns to the party.
  • 03:03: Vs. Edison! ...Wait that's not the second Gym Leader!
  • 03:06: Edison defeated, Fifi to level 51. The end of the maze has been reached, but without I!C or Y4, Cyan's not allowed to face the Gym Leader.
  • 03:15: Cyan utilizes the Abra Man's services again, then goes back in, restarting the challenge.
  • 03:24: Dynamite is found and used to blow up a rock that would normally be Rock Smashed.
  • 03:35: Ampharos is first to rejoin the party.
  • 03:43: And Bun-E is second again.
  • 03:56: Josiah challenged again! Ampharos again takes out Charizard, but falls to Magcargo. Bun-E's Metronome calls 4 straight non-damaging moves, including Final Chance on the third attempt, before finally Night Shading for the win. Bun-E reaches Level 51.
  • 04:14: Miller's the third one found again.
  • 04:23: And Fifi's fourth.
  • 04:29: Vs. Cadence this time! Only Fifi makes it through.
  • 04:37: Y4 rejoins the team, and then it's time to battle...Rinji?
  • 04:43: Rinji wins. Time to try again.
  • 04:58: This time Miller is the first to be found. There's a definite element of randomness to this gym, at least if your party is fairly balanced in levels—which unusually for TPP, it is.
  • 05:04: Ampharos is second.
  • 05:11: As expected, Josiah is a locked encounter.
  • 05:13: Miller to Level 51 as Josiah is defeated.
  • 05:20: Edison battled again.
  • 05:23: The end of the maze is reached again. Miller went down in the battle against Edison.
  • 05:25: Bun-E found.
  • 05:45: And Fifi.
  • 05:52: Vs. Rinji again! Ampharos takes down Ludicolo and reaches Level 51, but gets confused by Outrage before finishing off Tangrowth. Fifi cleans up and reaches Level 52.
  • 05:56: Y4 rejoins the party. Again.
  • 05:59: Vs. Cadence, again. Bun-E and Fifi fall during the battle, but Y4 reaches Level 53 at the end.
  • 06:03: Just as last time, Cadence was guarding a Poké Ball, but it's the last one this time. I!C recovered! Time to battle the Gym Leader!
  • 06:06: Vs. Gym Leader Bruce! Only Y4 and I!C are available to battle, but both have full HP.
  • 06:11: I!C manages to clean up! Bruce defeated! He gives out the TM for Flash Cannon, and his badge shares a name with the region.
  • 11:42: Cyan is somehow walking on water.
  • 12:16: Cyan reaches Naljo Border and continues on to Mt. Ember. Wild battles now have the Kanto encounter music from GSC.
  • 12:43: Vs. Moltres! It uses an 8-bit version of the Kanto Legendary theme from X/Y. It defeats Ampharos, but Bun-E beats it.
  • 12:55: Bun-E reaches Level 52 and tries to learn Flail. For seemingly the first time all run, Body Slam isn't overwritten, and the Mob successfully denies him the new move.
  • 13:51: Cyan finds a Leftovers, but the Bag is full. The Mob immediately starts trying to toss an item to get it.
  • 14:03: Leftovers successfully obtained after tossing an Elixir.
  • 14:33: Y4 reaches level 54 and learns Aqua Jet, forgetting Body Slam.
  • 14:39: Whiteout. A democracy house is visited in order to give I!C back her Blackglasses, which had accidentally been swapped with a Calcium during the struggle to obtain the Leftovers, and give said Leftovers to Fifi.
  • 15:25: Scientist No. 11 is among the trainers to be faced here.
  • 15:55: Rival battle! Beaten on the first try, but only I!C is standing.
  • 16:04: Cyan fails to heal her party before heading into the league for Elite Four Attempt #1! ...Or rather, Ice Puzzle attempt #1.
  • 16:09: Yuki reached! She leads off with Mamoswine, who of course defeats I!C, ending the first attempt quickly.
  • 16:23: Yuki is defeated on attempt #2, but Y4 and Miller went down. Yuki's full lineup consists of Mamoswine, Glalie, Froslass (or Froslad as the chat calls him), Weavile, and Glaceon.
  • 16:25: Sora and his Flying-types are up next. Ampharos leads off against Gyarados, and the rout is predictable, but that allows him to reach Level 54 and Thunder is replaced by Heal Bell. Gliscor comes in next.
  • 16:29: Gliscor takes out the entire rest of the team. RIP Run #2.
  • 16:44: Yuki defeated, this time with Y4 and Ampharos falling.
  • 16:53: Sora and Cyan keep alternating victories, with Bun-E taking down Gyarados but falling to Gliscor; Tyranitar taking down the Gliscor but falling to Drifblim; Miller finishing off the Drifblim and falling to Pidgeot; and Ninetales taking out the Pidgeot and losing to Altaria, ending Run #3.
  • 17:04: Only Ampharos went down against Yuki on Run #4.
  • 17:14: Sora is defeated, but only I!C is standing. Or, wait, it seems that Ampharos is better now?
  • 17:17: Which, uh, may have been a poor decision to revive, as Daichi is up third and uses Ground-types. I!C takes out his Rhydon and reaches Level 60, failing to learn Dragon Dance, and Steelix comes in to end run #4.
  • 17:31: Fifi manages to get in to do most of the work on Yuki, but at some point a Hail must've been used because she whiffs a Flamethrower against Glaceon. Or maybe the Glaceon was holding Bright Powder, but the Snow Veil ability is the simplest explanation. Y4's Aqua Jet finishes off the Glaceon, and Yuki in the process.
  • 17:35: Ampharos leads off against Sora's Gyarados, but starts with Heal Bell. Spark isn't enough to OHKO, and as such, Gyarados's second Earthquake defeats him. I!C narrowly manages to sweep, OHKOing both Drifblim and Altaria and also defeating Pidgeot in one turn as what little health wasn't taken out by her Crunch was lost when said Pidgeot used Brave Bird.
  • 17:46: After both Bun-E and I!C fall against Daichi's Rhydon (which knows Substitute!), Miller finishes it off, then loses to Steelix. Y4's Aqua Jet finishes it off, but next up is Flygon and its Earthquake finishes off the run. ...next up is Flygon? Okay, sure, Dragon-types resist Water-types, neutralizing the Ground-type's weakness, but Y4's still a Fairy-type, completely immune to Dragon-type moves and super-effective against Dragons. So that choice only really makes sense if the computer takes Y4's lack of Fairy-type moves into account.
  • 17:56: The next battle with Yuki begins, the turnaround between entering her room and actually facing her staying relatively similar to past runs in spite of a stream outage.
  • 18:02: Fifi swept through Yuki's team flawlessly!
  • 18:05: Sadly, Ampharos is unable to handle Gyarados. Bun-E is the only other one to fall during the Sora battle, though.
  • 18:15: Trolls make themselves known, throwing a Poké Ball at Daichi's Rhydon and seeing I!C get OHKOed by Earthquake. Miller gets off a Noise Pulse, only for Cyan to be Hoist By Her Own Petard as while Rhydon couldn't quite finish Miller in one shot, the sandstorm summoned by I!C's ability did the rest.
  • 18:17: Daichi's AI continues to be questionable as this time, he sends in Rhyperior after Y4 takes out Rhydon. At least it's probably questionable? Okay, yes, Rhyperior's ability reduces its 4x weakness to Water to a mere 2x weakness, on par with many of his other Pokémon (including Steelix), and Y4's Water-typing means it's not weak to Steel like most Fairies...but it still only makes sense if you assume that Daichi knows that Y4 doesn't have any Fairy-type attacks for Steelix to resist. It might clear up why he thought Flygon was the best choice last time, though; if his last Pokémon is also 4x weak to Water, Flygon would legitimately be the best choice in spite of the Fairy-type weakness.
  • 18:18: Fifi replaces Y4 and quickly falls, ending the run.
  • 18:24: ...Sadly, Fifi is not actually in the front of the party. Mamoswine takes out Ampharos, Weavile takes out Bun-E (or rather, Hail does), Miller falls as soon as he beats Weavile due to said Hail, and Glaceon takes out Y4. Also, upon defeating Mamoswine, Bun-E reached Level 56 and forgot Body Slam to learn Endure.
  • 18:35: Fifi is able to burn Sora's Gyarados and take it down. Gliscor manages to badly poison I!C when she comes in, though, and it finishes her, and the run, while Altaria is out.
  • 18:52: Democracy is used to reteach Thunder to Ampharos and also put Fifi in the front of the party.
  • 19:05: Poor move selection allows Yuki to take out Fifi anyway, but I!C cleans up.
  • 19:12: This time Ampharos can take care of Gyarados, but Gliscor takes out both Ampharos and Y4.
  • 19:20: Run #8 ends at Sora.
  • 19:27: Y4 somehow gets switched in against Yuki's Froslass, and it gets off a Destiny Bond to drag her down with it.
  • 19:30: Sora's Gyarados takes down Fifi...
  • 19:38: ...and his Gliscor takes down everyone else.
  • 19:46: A true sweep over Yuki! Glaceon is the only thing that can survive even one Flamethrower from Fifi, but that's so close that Yuki just heals it after the first hit.
  • 19:49: Gyarados takes Fifi out, though. I!C comes in and finishes it off, and Gliscor gets off a Toxic but no actual direct damaging moves.
  • 19:51: Body Slams take down Altaria, but the poison from Gliscor's Toxic wears I!C down before she can Crunch Drifblim. Drifblim then puts a Curse on Miller, but self-KOs in the process.
  • 19:52: Miller is able to take out Pidgeot before the Curse can wear him down! Tri Attack is a two-hit KO and the first one freezes.
  • 19:55: Y4 finishes off Daichi's Rhydon in one hit, and he sends out...Donphan. It knows Rollout, so this confirms that Flygon wasn't the best choice to replace Steelix and makes him 0 for 3 in selecting what would appear to be the optimal choice to send out against Y4. Though in reality, all choices are equally valid because Y4 doesn't actually know any Fairy-type moves. Y4 also doesn't know Encore, which she tried to learn after defeating the Donphan.
  • 19:56: Rhyperior in next, goes down in one hit. Flygon doesn't, and Fifi gets revived.
  • 19:57: Fifi finishes off Flygon with Flamethrower, which is resisted, but when Steelix comes in, Cyan throws a ball at it and Fifi goes down.
  • 19:59: Bun-E has Drain Punch, however, and uses it to take down the Steelix. Daichi defeated for the first time on Run #9! It's the fourth run to actually reach Daichi.
  • 20:01: Mura, the rival from Brown, is the fourth member of the Elite Four! And he has a mixed-type team. Ampharos leads off and takes his Fearow out in one hit. He uses a Tyranitar next, and it sweeps through the remainder of Cyan's team.
  • 20:13: This time it's a true flawless victory against Yuki!
  • 20:28: The Sora battle wasn't nearly so smooth. Gyarados took out Fifi; Y4 took out the Gyarados and Drifblim but got cursed by the latter and fell to Pidgeot; and Gliscor took out Miller, Bun-E, and Ampharos and poisoned I!C. If not for Prism using 4th-generation poison mechanics, Cyan wouldn't have even reached Daichi. A patching break is taken.
  • 20:43: Again, Fifi falls to Sora's Gyarados. (From this point forward, just assume that Fifi swept Yuki without taking damage unless otherwise stated.) I!C finishes it off, and Bun-E is switched in to face Gliscor. He just uses Endure a bunch, which isn't a great strategy when you're a pure Normal-type and one of your allies has set up a Sandstorm. Y4 takes care of Gliscor, and Ampharos switches in against Drifblim.
  • 20:47: Ampharos, who leveled up to 56 after defeating Drifblim, manages one Thunder against Altaria before Drifblim's Curse takes it down. Y4 comes in next and also falls, and I!C finishes Altaria off, but Miller is switched in against Pidgeot. This move fails and it's again left to I!C to defeat Sora.
  • 20:56: I!C manages to take down Rhydon with repeated Rock Smashes, but falls to Steelix.
  • 21:07: Both Fifi and Miller fall to Gyarados this time before Bun-E gets a crit Cut to defeat it. Cyan then makes a poor switch and sends Ampharos in against Gliscor.
  • 21:09: Y4 takes a Toxic and defeats Gliscor, then takes a Curse and defeats Drifblim. As a result, she faints as soon as Pidgeot is sent in. I!C finishes off Sora.
  • 21:18: After Bun-E fell to the Rhydon, I!C takes out both Rhydon and Steelix before falling to Donphan. RIP attempt 13.
  • 21:27: Fifi tries to use Hypnosis on Gyarados this time, but can't pull it off. I!C finishes it, and Bun-E repeats his questionable strategies against Gliscor from two runs prior.
  • 21:30: I!C is again Hoist By Her Own Petard, missing a Crunch due to Gliscor's Sand Veil. She takes a Toxic and falls to poison immediately after defeating the Gliscor.
  • 21:36: Pidgeot, Sora's last Pokémon, ends the run!
  • 21:47: Oh no, the AI is learning. Faced with the prospect of Fifi again, Sora's Gyarados sets up two Dragon Dances before smashing both Fifi and Miller in one hit, then sets up a third against Bun-E's Endure. Y4 is switched in, however, forcing it to use Earthquake instead of the more powerful STAB Waterfall, and this allows Y4 to survive and win. Drifblim comes in and finishes off Y4.
  • 21:52: Bun-E comes back in and uses Metronome, which draws Thunderpunch—a perfect selection! It OHKOs, leaving it to Gliscor to take down the bunny.
  • 21:57: I!C is the only one left, and while Gliscor goes down, Sora's already won. Altaria goes down without getting a single move off, but that's all it needed to do—Pidgeot's still standing and the turn needed to take down Altaria was enough for the Toxic that Gliscor landed on I!C to finish taking her down.
  • 22:06: Trolls strike! Y4 ends up switched in during the Yuki battle on attempt 16, and Glaceon manages to narrowly defeat her; I!C finishes the battle off. I!C is able to OHKO Weavile with Crunch, despite the move being resisted, albeit with a critical hit which pretty much neutralizes the resistance.
  • 22:14: Again, I!C finishes off Gyarados after Fifi faints, and again, I!C is not allowed to remain in against Gliscor. Miller falls, but not before confusing Gliscor, allowing Bun-E to finish it despite again leading off with Endure.
  • 22:18: Bun-E's first Metronome against Pidgeot is Splash. The next one is Growth, and that's all he's allowed to do before fainting.
  • 22:19: I!C Crunches to defeat Pidgeot, reaching Level 65, and Bite is forgotten in favor of Rock Slide.
  • 22:22: Drifblim manages to paralyze I!C, but falls to a critical Rock Slide.
  • 22:32: Predictably, Run 16 ends at Daichi, since only I!C (paralyzed) and Ampharos were left.
  • 22:45: Y4 is quickly switched in against Gyarados, then Fifi comes back in, burns it with Flamethrower to cut its attack to the point that she survives the Waterfall, and it goes down to burn. Gliscor is again the next one in, but since it doesn't actually resist Fire-types, Fifi takes out half its health before going down in one hit.
  • 22:52: Pidgeot is the only Pokémon Sora has that outspeeds I!C, and it uses its one turn to...become even faster with Agility. I!C flawlessly finishes the remainder of Sora's team!
  • 22:56: Y4 leads off against Daichi and Surfs to OHKO Rhydon, and Daichi finally makes the most sensible Pokémon choices and sends in Steelix next. Y4 switches to Strength, but gets back on Surf in time to finish off Steelix; Donphan finishes her with Rollout after narrowly surviving the first Surf.
  • 22:57: Crunch finishes Donphan and OHKOs Flygon, but only deals half the necessary damage to Rhyperior and the Mob switches to Rock Smash, allowing Rhyperior to finish off I!C. Miller unfortunately uses Calm Mind on his first turn in the battle, but the only damage he takes is from I!C's Sandstorm as Iron Tail misses. Noise Pulse finishes off the Rhyperior and Daichi is defeated.
  • 23:01: It's the same as last time Mura was faced. Ampharos leads off; Ampharos takes out Fearow in one hit; Tyranitar sweeps the remainder of Cyan's team.
  • 23:22: After a stream outage delays the start of the next attempt, Fifi chooses to Hypnosis Mamoswine instead of just using Flamethrower. It works, but she can't switch to Flamethrower on the next turn and Mamoswine gets a quick wake-up and takes her out in one shot with Earthquake. Bun-E is also defeated before Yuki goes down.
  • 23:32: Y4 leads off against Gyarados, but I!C is immediately sent in. Both she and Miller fall before Ampharos can be brought in, and Gliscor takes out Ampharos. Y4 takes out the Gliscor, but not before taking a Toxic, and Drifblim tacks on a Curse, preventing her from even getting a chance to battle Pidgeot (with Altaria still in reserve.)
  • 23:44: After failing to activate it after Run 17, Democracy is activated after Run 18. Miller (5th position) and I!C (6th) are switched in the party order, and Miller is taught Icy Wind over Calm Mind.

    Day 10

Day 10 - Beleaguered

  • 00:00: Run 19 begins! Well, actually Cyan entered Yuki's room five minutes earlier, but the battle with Yuki starts at the start of Day 10.
  • 00:07: Fifi is now strong enough to survive the first Waterfall from Sora's Gyarados and two-shot it with Flamethrower! Gliscor takes her down, but Miller's Icy Wind is enough to rip through it. Drifblim's up next and puts a Curse on Miller, who is able to take both it and Pidgeot out before succumbing to the Curse.
  • 00:10: I!C finishes off Altaria. Sora defeated!
  • 00:13: Y4 sweeps through Rhydon, Rhyperior, and Steelix, but Flygon survives a Surf and Earthquakes to take her down.
  • 00:17: Bun-E finishes off Flygon, but falls to Donphan. Inexplicably, Donphan uses Rollout rather than Earthquake against Ampharos, and gets paralyzed by Static. It doesn't matter as Ampharos still can't do much of anything and falls. Body Slam from I!C finishes the battle.
  • 00:22: With I!C at just 33 HP the only team member standing, the live updater predicts that the battle against Mura will be the "shortest battle yet". He's wrong, however, as Mura's Fearow continues to be useless and I!C actually manages a level-up in the otherwise doomed Mura battle.
  • 00:24: Right back into Yuki's room for Attempt #20!
  • 00:58: Except for some reason, this puzzle that normally only takes 4-6 minutes took 34 this time.
  • 01:04: Fifi can't take out Sora's Gyarados this time. Y4 cleans up, and Ampharos is sent out to take on Drifblim.
  • 01:16: Both Y4 and Ampharos fell against Sora, but that's all.
  • 01:20: Bun-E's Metronome calls Teleport, and he falls to Rhydon. Miller comes in and uses Icy Wind to take it out, then uses Noise Pulse to handle Steelix. Rhyperior lands an Iron Tail, though, to defeat him, and I!C finishes things up.
  • 01:27: Same as always: Fearow gets one-shot, Mura's Tyranitar cleans house.
  • 01:36: Fifi still hasn't taken damage yet on Run 21 and Sora's Gyarados is already down.
  • 01:37: As is Gliscor. Pidgeot finally manages to tag her, but is also one-rounded as it used Brave Bird to do so and the recoil combines with Flamethrower to finish it. Drifblim also self-KOs with Curse, but this is enough to finally drag Fifi down as she can't take care of Altaria so easily. Miller's Icy Wind is 4x super-effective and finishes it.
  • 01:39: Much like Sora's team, the stream is down. It comes back a few minutes later to reveal that Cyan's just been running into a wall.
  • 01:46: Rhydon and Rhyperior each go down in one Surf from Y4, but Flygon takes 3, and Steelix has Gen V+ Sturdy to survive one and take Y4 out.
  • 01:49: Miller's Icy Wind is once again able to completely clean up. Cyan enters the Mura battle with Ampharos, I!C, and Bun-E all at full health and Miller at 78 HP.
  • 01:51: Ampharos is at level 57 as Mura's Fearow continues to be the least threatening Pokémon in this entire Elite Four. Tyranitar, as usual, does work, taking out both Ampharos and Miller.
  • 01:52: Mura inexplicably switches to Houndoom against I!C, which quickly falls; he sends his Tyranitar back out and that falls too.
  • 01:53: Ludicolo is no match for I!C either. Leafeon, being the most physically defensive Eeveelution, is able to tank a hit, but only uses that turn to clear the sandstorm with Sunny Day. Mura heals it, but it, too, falls.
  • 01:54: As does Weezing. Mura defeated! Like Daichi, he was defeated on the 4th attempt to reach him.
  • 01:56: The champion, naturally, is Lance! Bun-E leads, summons Thunder via Metronome to paralyze Salamence, but ultimately falls; I!C finishes off the Salamence but loses to Garchomp.
  • 02:07: Fifi defeats Gyarados again, but not so cleanly. Gliscor finishes her and poisons I!C.
  • 02:10: Who manages to defeat Sora anyway, reaching Level 69.
  • 02:14: Whatever algorithm is determining Daichi's choices for the best Pokémon to use against Y4 actually does decide on Steelix first, but it only sets up a Sandstorm with its one-turn reprieve thanks to Sturdy. Donphan also survives the first Surf, also thanks to Sturdy, and Flygon eventually takes out Y4; Ampharos cleans up.
  • 02:17: Fearow is actually allowed to do something as Outrage is selected, but it only uses Agility. Now able to outspeed, it...selects Sky Attack, a move with a charging turn. So it still didn't actually do anything.
  • 02:21: And Mura's Tyranitar sweeps over the remaining four Pokémon.
  • 02:31: Fifi again defeats the Gyarados and gets poisoned by Gliscor's Toxic. Flamethrower burns Pidgeot, and that plus recoil finishes it in one turn.
  • 02:33: Flamethrower narrowly misses taking out Drifblim before Fifi faints; Miller does the rest, but uses Psychic instead of Icy Wind which necessitates two turns to take down Altaria.
  • 02:37: Y4 suffers through both Flygon and Donphan being impossible to OHKO with Surf before finally getting finished by Steelix's innate inability to be one-shot. Ampharos finishes it, but Rhyperior takes it out, then does the same to Bun-E after some unlucky draws with Metronome. I!C also goes down, leaving Miller the last one standing.
  • 02:44: Miller can't OHKO Fearow, but it again leads off with Agility and can't outspeed Miller in spite of that, keeping its uselessness streak intact. Houndoom comes in for the finish this time.
  • 03:09: Another 22-minute battle with the ice puzzle in Yuki's room, with inputs moving slowly, comes to a close. Then Cyan switches in Y4 against Mamoswine. She defeats it, but takes damage. Fifi comes back in to take out the rest of Yuki's team.
  • 03:19: Gyarados sets up Dragon Dances against Fifi and narrowly survives, then gets off a Waterfall on I!C.
  • 03:21: I!C gets poisoned, taking her out shortly after she defeats Gliscor. Bun-E comes in, and evidently Sand Stream was coded to its Gen VI+ mechanics because using Endure actually allows him to survive rather than just falling to the Sandstorm damage.
  • 03:24: Then Ampharos gets switched in and Outrages to take it out. Pidgeot uses Brave Bird and also gets paralyzed by Static, and Outrage finishes it but Ampharos is confused.
  • 03:26: Drifblim finishes off Ampharos, then Thunderbolts Y4, who survives and finishes the match.
  • 03:32: Y4 rips through Rhydon and survives Steelix before falling to Donphan.
  • 03:35: Miller has no trouble taking out the rest of Daichi's team, though.
  • 03:37: Fearow finally does a thing! Even taking two turns to execute, Sky Attack takes out Bun-E. Miller barely manages to finish it with Icy Wind and falls to Ludicolo.
  • 03:46: Democracy is used to give Y4 Leftovers and swap Bun-E to the 6th position in the party.
  • 04:02: Y4 is switched in during the Yuki battle, and chat quickly grows furious at trolls. All six team members make it to the Sora battle, though.
  • 04:11: Fifi quickly falls, and Bun-E's Metronome manages to take out Gyarados before he falls to Gliscor. I!C cleans up.
  • 04:19: While the two Sturdy Pokémon and naturally bulky/not-weak-to-Water Flygon make it far from the clean sweep that Fifi manages over Yuki on most runs, Y4's Leftovers allow her to narrowly get through the entire Daichi battle.
  • 04:22: Surf can't OHKO Fearow, but Sky Attack can't execute in a single turn and Y4 is fast enough to prevent it from triggering. Ludicolo quickly finishes her off.
  • 04:23: I!C takes out both Ludicolo and the opposing Tyranitar, opting not to learn Outrage at Level 70.
  • 04:24: Leafeon also falls in one shot, but Weezing doesn't and uses Sarin Gas, which causes Paralysis. Now able to outspeed I!C, it uses Explosion to take her down with it.
  • 04:25: Miller's out first against Houndoom, but Ampharos then comes in, misses a Thunder, and eventually falls, forcing Miller to return to finish the battle.
  • 04:32: It only takes one hit for Lance to finish off Run 25.
  • 04:46: Fifi manages to defeat Gyarados again. Bun-E fails to do anything against Gliscor before I!C Crunches through the rest of Sora's team.
  • 04:52: Thanks to back-to-back critical hits, Daichi's Flygon is actually defeated in only 2 Surfs instead of the usual 3. The sweep commences, as does the two-shotting of Fearow without actually being hurt. Ludicolo finishes Y4 off.
  • 04:57: I!C manages to finish off Mura's Tyranitar, now facing Leafeon.
  • 04:58: ...Which likewise manages to do nothing due to attempting a charged attack.
  • 04:59: I!C gets burned by Mustard Gas, but lands a critical hit on her Crunch to take Weezing out anyway. Then she falls to the Burn.
  • 05:00: Miller gets sent in. Chat wanted Ampharos instead and starts rioting, flinging balls like crazy. Miller falls, and Ampharos misses a Thunder, gets hit by a crit Flamethrower under Sunny Day, and still manages to defeat Houndoom.
  • 05:07: It's another one-turn loss to Lance. Followed by a brief stream outage.
  • 05:16: Beginning of the Yuki battle for Run 27.
  • 05:20: Thanks to the first Flamethrower burning, Fifi survives a Dragon Danced Waterfall and KOs Gyarados.
  • 05:21: Gliscor tries to set up Swords Dance on Fifi repeatedly and falls without ever landing a hit.
  • 05:22: Pidgeot is one-shot by Flamethrower. Drifblim isn't, but finishes itself off to lay a Curse on Fifi.
  • 05:23: Sky Attack from Altaria finally ends Fifi, and Bun-E gets sent in.
  • 05:24: Sora uses a Full Restore on Altaria, and Bun-E starts using Metronome. The first one is Laughing Gas, the second is Thunder Wave, and the third is Selfdestruct. Sora defeated!
  • 05:29: As is Daichi, thanks to another Y4 sweep.
  • 05:30: Which again extends to Fearow before Ludicolo finishes her off.
  • 05:32: I!C isn't using her best moves against Ludicolo, and while she still wins, it sets her up to fall to her opposite number.
  • 05:34: Houndoom comes in against Ampharos for some reason and gets knocked out by Outrage after setting up sunlight, and Tyranitar comes back in and uses a super-effective Earthquake to finish off Ampharos.
  • 05:35: Miller isn't any more effective. White out!
  • 05:50: And again, by the time Fifi finally falls, Sora's down to only his Altaria. Which outside of the Gyarados that he leads off with is still the only thing he has that resists Fifi's attacks. What is up with this AI?
  • 05:58: Thanks to a crit, it only takes one Surf to finish off Mura's Fearow. Fifi is still the only Pokémon down.
  • 06:00: Bun-E tosses out Psychic, X-Scissor, and Return to take out Ludicolo, then only manages Foresight and Absorb before falling to Tyranitar. Cyan's own Tyranitar then spams Crunch until Mura's team is down.
  • 06:06: Ampharos's Outrage can't take down Salamence, and I!C finishes it. Garchomp is in next and takes out I!C.
  • 06:09: Garchomp outspeeds Miller and Earthquakes for the win. End Run 28, and immediately begin run 29.
  • 06:22: It took roughly the same amount of time to reach Yuki in her ice puzzle as it did to finish off Sora. Thanks to Gyarados and Gliscor both trying to set up while getting burned on the first Flamethrower while Altaria whiffed its first Sky Attack, the only Pokémon to deal damage to Fifi was...Fifi herself, as she ran out of Flamethrowers against Altaria and had to switch to Flare Blitz, which deals recoil damage.
  • 06:24: Rhydon uses a Substitute to lead off the battle against Fifi, but then crits an Earthquake. Y4 cleans up and also takes out Mura's Fearow.
  • 06:32: Bun-E comes in against Ludicolo, which uses Rest Talk strats, and a flurry of Metronomed attacks take it out. Bun-E is up to Level 59.
  • 06:33: Roar is called by Metronome, however, so Tyranitar takes Bun-E down. I!C comes in next.
  • 06:34: Weezing is still a troll, again paralyzing I!C with Sarin and then blowing up in her face. Ampharos wins its duel with Houndoom, and it's on to Lance.
  • 06:40: Lacking Fairy-type moves, Y4 is ineffective against Salamence, but it rests multiple times and gives her plenty of time to pull out a victory.
  • 06:42: Lance has a Gyarados as well, and it Paralyzes Y4 with Thunder Wave, but can't do much damage and falls to Strength.
  • 06:43: Charizard is in next and starts shooting Hyper Beams, and thanks to Paralysis and not switching off of Strength, Y4 falls. Ampharos cleans up with Outrage and reaches Level 59, failing to learn Crystal Bolt.
  • 06:46: Garchomp takes out Ampharos with Earthquake, then outspeeds Miller and Earthquakes again. Icy Wind finishes Garchomp, but Altaria comes in, Double Teams to avoid the Icy Wind, and Hyper Beams twice to end the run. Another ROM change break follows.
  • 06:55: The Yuki battle begins, but Flare Blitz is used instead of Flamethrower, and at one point Hypnosis is switched to.
  • 06:57: Fifi finishes off Yuki, but also finishes herself off with Flare Blitz.
  • 07:00: Gyarados is ineffective against Y4, and I!C comes in, tanks a hit from the Gyarados, and sweeps Sora.
  • 07:14: Y4 swept Daichi again, but the mob chooses to use Aqua Jet and then a Poké Ball against Fearow. Then Y4 uses Surf and wins anyway.
  • 07:24: Things have gone south, but at least Y4 managed to get rid of Weezing, leaving the injured I!C safe from its trolling.
  • 07:30: Another one-turn loss to Lance.
  • 07:41: Fifi again self-KOs on Yuki's last Pokémon.
  • 07:55: Against Daichi's last Pokémon, Y4 hangs on with 4 HP, allowing her to sweep two consecutive E4 members. She's denied the chance to make it 11 straight Pokémon defeated as Miller is switched to against Fearow, then I!C.
  • 08:07: Switch and ball trolling leaves Cyan unable to even beat Mura.
  • 08:16: Fifi's left on 1 HP after taking out Sora's Gyarados and quickly falls to Gliscor.
  • 08:29: The Sora battle was rocky, but Daichi is handled easily. Then the trolling returns against Mura and Weezing again ends the run.
  • 08:49: Democracy is engaged! And...all of Cyan's Poké Balls are tossed! Except for the Shiny Ball, which is kept safe as Bun-E's held item (he was only holding a Brick Piece anyway). Bun-E is also switched with Y4 in the party, presumably to make it easier to switch Y4 in for Daichi without risking having her lead off against Mura and potentially Lance.
  • 09:07: Menu trolling continues, and Bun-E winds up in, summoning a Sandstorm via Metronome immediately after Glaceon summoned Hail. Bun-E is down as Yuki is defeated.
  • 09:19: The switch doesn't happen; Ampharos down to Daichi's Rhydon. Y4 sweeps from there.
  • 09:27: Miller falls to Weezing after taking out Fearow, Ludicolo, and Houndoom.
  • 09:28: Y4 down too. I!C cleans up but again stands alone for the Lance battle.
  • 09:33: Garchomp ends it again after Salamence is taken out. RIP Run 33.
  • 09:42: After Gliscor takes out Fifi, Bun-E gets trolled by its Metronome, drawing Thunder against Gliscor, then facing Pidgeot and drawing Thunder Wave, a Ghost-type move, and finally Substitute, which only speeds up the process of fainting to the Toxic that Gliscor landed on it. Ampharos cleans house.
  • 09:47: Ampharos down to Rhydon, commence Y4 sweep.
  • 09:53: Miller took out Fearow and Ludicolo before falling; Y4 in. Despite spamming Surf under Sunny Day at Leafeon at one point, she manages to very nearly sweep through, falling to Sandstorm damage at a point where I!C needed only one Rock Smash to finish off Mura's last Pokémon, Tyranitar.
  • 10:00: Salamence's Dragon Claw does little as I!C Crunches it out, and a crit prevents Garchomp from doing anything as it goes down in one hit.
  • 10:01: Gyarados gets off a Thunder Wave, but deals no damage. Flygon up next, there's a turn of full paralysis in there but I!C still tanks Outrages and takes it out. Charizard in fifth, Dragon Claw and Hyper Beam finally take I!C out. ...Wait, that was 5 Pokémon and he finished Cyan off with an Altaria last time, which wasn't seen in this battle. Lance doesn't have a Dragonite?! ...Of course he doesn't; this game is still based off of Crystal and as such only has enough room for 253 Pokémon. Adding Pokémon from the 3rd and 4th generations to the game would require removing Pokémon from the first two generations, and evidently the Dratini line was among those cut.
  • 10:11: The run is declared "over from the first turn" as Fifi is again spamming Flare Blitz instead of Flamethrower. As before, she is able to take out all of Yuki's team before recoil damage takes her out.
  • 10:15: Metronome shenanigans doom Bun-E against Sora. Y4 and I!C finish things up and the former handles Daichi as usual.
  • 10:29: Ampharos gets to contribute, taking out Fearow before falling to Mura's Tyranitar.
  • 10:35: Run 35 ends to Mura.
  • 10:46: Flawless victories over both Yuki and Sora! Not even recoil damage from Flare Blitz, though Fifi's again completely out of Flamethrowers.
  • 10:50: She's still got Hypnosis, though, and uses it to secure a clean switch for Y4. Who wrecks Daichi as per usual.
  • 10:55: This means Fifi is still around to lead off against Mura. I!C is sent in instead, and doesn't use Rock Slide but still handles Fearow with little trouble.
  • 10:58: Miller is sent in against Mura's Tyranitar instead, and it takes it out, then follows that up by Tri Attacking Ludicolo twice, getting hit by one Hydro Pump but avoiding the second. Ampharos comes in and Ludicolo uses Rest. Sleep Talk can only provide it with Rest on its first attempt, but it takes 6 tries before Ampharos can finally land a Thunder, which Paralyzes and takes out over half of Ludicolo's health but Giga Drain finishes Ampharos off.
  • 11:01: Ludicolo uses Rest and Bun-E's Metronome summons...Rest. Fifi switches in at one point, and then I!C comes in and clears Mura's team out.
  • 11:13: Fifi has a bad matchup against Salamence. I!C comes in and finishes it, but Sand Veil strikes again as she misses a Body Slam on Garchomp and falls to Earthquake.
  • 11:14: Bun-E falls to Outrage, but Y4 is in next and Garchomp's still locked into Outrage which Y4 is immune to. Surf wins and Gyarados comes in.
  • 11:16: Gyarados lands a Thunder Wave, but its attacks are ineffective and it falls.
  • 11:17: Altaria tries to bring it back with Double Team hax, but it fails to help as two Surfs and a Hydro Pump finish it off. It used a Hyper Beam, killing one of its other turns.
  • 11:18: Flygon uses Hyper Beam as well, and Hydro Pump wrecks it, but is out of PP.
  • 11:19: Aqua Jet is used against Charizard. Victory has been secured! Cyan is the champion! Also she gets the Rijon Pass as she's entered into the Hall of Fame.
  • 11:33: Cyan goes on a shopping spree to replace all of the balls she had to toss to neutralize the trolls.
  • 11:51: The final total on her Poké Ball purchases seems to be... 973. Well okay then.
  • 12:13: A TM for Rock Slide is discovered.
  • 12:32: Facing the Castro Valley Gym Leader, Koji. It seems to be a potential Fifi sweep, but Bun-E gets switched in and falls. Ampharos comes in next, takes out a Pokémon, and falls as well, followed by Miller and I!C. Fifi finishes off the battle.
  • 12:50: Super Rod acquired.
  • 12:55: Miller is switched from fourth to first, then to second, putting Bun-E in front. Then Bun-E finally ditches the unreliable Metronome in favor of Body Slam. Body Slam taught via TM counter: 13
  • 13:48: And not even an hour later, Bun-E reaches level 60 and tries to learn Hi Jump Kick. The Mob passes.
  • 13:56: They don't pass on Miller's Moonblast at Level 62, however, ditching Icy Wind.
  • 14:43: Into the Moraga City Gym!
  • 14:51: And out of the Gym to heal! Wow, normally Hosts just keep plugging onwards until they black out. Then again, Cyan's character seems to be far more caring than most hosts.
  • 14:56: Leader Lois challenged!
  • 14:58: Leader Lois swept by Miller!
  • 15:35: TM 94 (Crystal Bolt) acquired.
  • 15:57: Confuse Guard tossed, allowing Cyan to pick up a Thunder Ring.
  • 16:39: Checkpointed at Jaeru City Pokémon Center.
  • 16:53: And again, Cyan leaves after facing some of the trainers in order to heal.
  • 17:03: Now battling Leader Sparky. Miller goes down early and Bun-E and Ampharos were already down, but that leaves the stronger half of the team. Y4, weak to the Electric-types' STAB but still able to deal neutral damage with her own STAB, sweeps.
  • 17:43: At some point, Metronome returned to Bun-E's moveset, but replacing Endure.
  • 17:59: TM 92 for Mustard Gas is acquired.
  • 18:13: Botan City is apparently quarantined.
  • 21:14: A glitch occurs, requiring dev/streamer intervention. This is about the only noteworthy event of the final quarter of the day; the rest is just level-ups.

    Day 11

Day 11 - Things Happen? Probably?

  • 02:27: Y4 might not have Play Rough, but now that he's Level 64, Bun-E does. At the expense of Body Slam.
  • 04:29: Cyan arrives in Hayward City.
  • 05:22: Palette Blue is challenged!
  • 05:34: Palette Blue is defeated!
  • 05:54: A Cooltrainer with a Typhlosion and an Exploud is challenged. Somehow, both are only Level 5.
  • 06:02: The Fire Ring is found, but can't be obtained because the bag is full.
  • 06:13: Cyan enters Seashore City and inputs stop. Felk takes control.
  • 06:41: Cyan enters Paul's house.
  • 06:53: The trip to Gravel Town is short.
  • 07:00: The professor's aide tells Cyan that she can get a ticket for the Battle Arcade by collecting the 8 badges of Rijon.
  • 07:11: Seashore City's gym is still just as much of a Mind Screw as it was in Brown. I!C and Bun-E were apparently already down before Cyan even entered, and 12 minutes after entering the Gym, Cyan suffers her first whiteout since becoming the champion. Probably. It's also the 100th whiteout of the game.
  • 07:23: Rather than giving the Gym another shot, Cyan heads to Hayward City, then heads out.
  • 08:39: Leader Lily defeated!
  • 10:53: In a Game Corner.
  • 12:19: Ampharos reaches Level 64 and forgets Spark for Dragon Pulse, which is fine because anyone not watching the stream live had probably forgotten Spark a long time ago.
  • 12:57: The live updater comes back from another gap in coverage just in time to record that Cyan defeated Karpman, getting the Marine Badge and TM 80 (Storm Front). Then it goes dark again.
  • 16:19: More debugging.
  • 16:44: Cyan returns to Seashore Gym. Also, PokéText is able to fill in some of the gaps in the liveupdater's coverage. It appears that at 15:21, Fifi learned Dark Pulse, and 5 minutes later, Ampharos learned Crystal Bolt. As both of these moves are contained in TMs that Cyan has, this was probably a democracy session. At 15:37, Cyan was able to pick up that Fire Ring.
  • 16:53: Vs. Gym Leader Sheryl! I!C's immunity to Psychic-type moves allows her to defeat all of Sheryl's Pokémon, but not before her Slowbro took out half of Cyan's team.
  • 17:06: Miller reaches Level 70 by defeating Psychic Sidney, which coincidentally was also the first Elite Four member in Twitch Plays Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
  • 20:42: Buying Poké Dolls.
  • 21:03: Cyan picks up a Cage Key! Wait, we're doing the prison thing again?
  • 21:18: Cyan whites out to a Team Rocket Grunt.
  • 22:11: Wandering Mt. Boulder.
  • 22:56: A Cage Key is used to free Palette Pink, who immediately challenges Cyan. Ingrate.
  • 23:06: Vs. Silver! Already injured from the battle with Palette Pink, Cyan is unable to prevail.
  • 23:10: In Eagulou City.
  • 23:19: Challenging Silver again.
  • 23:27: ...Silver is apparently a Gym Leader. Star Badge obtained!
  • 23:42: Entering Moraga Town.
  • 23:51: Cyan glitches through a wall in the Moraga Town Pokémon Center.
  • 23:52: Then into the battle room, and into a forest in Route 76. The devs pause the game to fix this.

    Day 12

Day 12 - What I'm Made Of

  • 00:13: Entering Moraga Town Gym! ...And exiting it again because Cyan already has that badge.
  • 00:40: Which is not to say that she isn't still close to another badge. White Badge obtained from Route 57 Gym! That's all eight Rijon Badges!
  • 05:44: After a long session of grinding, Cyan purchases the TMs for Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, and Ice Beam from the Game Corner.
  • ??:??: Cyan obtains a Bicycle! ...Yes, roughly half of this day is eclipsed by gaps in liveupdater coverage, and this recap is being written almost a year after the run ended.
  • 17:18: Cyan's Mining Level reaches 6.
  • 17:24: Cyan tries to rematch Moltres. It's not there.
  • 18:33: Cyan is on her bicycle, but is still not allowed into Cycling Road "without" a bike. The devs assure the chat that the issue has already been fixed, but the patched ROM hasn't been loaded yet.
  • 19:06: The proper ROM is finally able to be loaded.
  • 19:51: Cyan finally reaches Johto! Unfortunately, only Y4 is still standing.
  • 19:59: And she's sent all the way back to Torenia City upon whiting out. Wait, isn't that in Naljo?
  • 20:06: The Bicycle is registered to Select in Democracy and the Shiny Ball is retrieved from Bun-E.
  • 20:48: Another ROM is loaded, this time disabling the "not the time to use that" message that improper Select use generated and also updating Cycling Road.
  • 22:29: The Shiny Ball is used on a male Koffing, given the nickname ZQQQQPhgh. The Shiny Ball works by forcing the captured Pokémon's DVs to certain values corresponding to shininess, as per Gen II mechanics. DVs also determine a lot of other things in Gen II, including gender and (in this game, since they didn't exist in the canon Gen II games) ability. Also, for some reason the Shiny Ball didn't quite work as intended, applying the same modifications to the Pokémon in slot 6 of the party that it did to the captured Pokémon. This means that Y4 is now male, has Thick Fat instead of Huge Power, and is gold and shiny instead of blue. So yes, Cyan really was collecting Chaos Emeralds on Prison Island back on Day 7.
  • 22:58: A poll is started to determine what should be done about this, to remain open for an hour. Something goes wrong and the poll is restarted at 23:30.

    Day 13

Day 13 - Oh No, Not Again

  • 00:09: Democracy is engaged, and the bike is reregistered to Select. Plans to teach Ice Beam to Miller fall through.
  • 00:30: The game is paused so that Y4 can receive her fate.
  • 00:40: As per the results of the poll, Y4's gender and ability have been restored to normal, but she retains her new coloration!
  • 01:09: TM77 for Body Slam is found, but can't be picked up because Cyan already has it.
  • 02:40: Attempts to bike back to Johto take so long that Ampharos eventually faints to recoil from Struggle because the wild Pokémon have taken up all of his PP.
  • 02:59: And another white-out.
  • 03:24: TM88 for Signal Beam is picked up, and Cyan proceeds into Ilex Forest.
  • 03:28: The trainer Cyan's battling recognized her as the Naljo champion!
  • 03:41: Goldenrod City entered! And checkpoint set 4 minutes later.
  • 03:45: The earthquake necessitated rebuilding, so Goldenrod's smaller than it used to be. Still has a Game Corner, though.
  • 04:53: TM 50 for Poison Jab acquired.
  • 04:56: Cyan has no room in her bag for the Dusk Ring.
  • 04:58: It's the rival! He quickly beats Cyan.
  • 05:26: Into the Goldenrod Gym now.
  • 05:37: Vs. Whitney!
  • 05:40: Whitney defeated on the first try! She, too, lacked her signature Pokémon. She also gives Cyan the Magnet Pass, allowing her to go to Saffron city.
  • 06:43: The Dusk Ring isn't in the underground anymore! Also, Rival Battle Attempt #2.
  • 06:50: TM 46 received as the Rival is defeated! He finally reveals his story, and it's kind of sad. Also, music changes every time Cyan talks to him.
  • 08:10: Arrived in Azalea Town! Slowpoke Well and Route 33 are both blocked off.
  • 08:40: Y4's up to Level 96 as she's the only one still standing as Bugsy is defeated! The TM he gives out is for Megahorn.
  • 08:53: Democracy begins...and crashes the game. Revo says he'll reset the game, but recent progress will be lost. Can't any female trainer go to Johto without being sucked through a time warp?
  • 09:03: Revo continues to inform the chat that the cause of the crash must be found and fixed or else it'll just keep happening again. Damnit, OLDEN, stop that!
  • 12:02: The stream's back, and not only has all progress been recovered, Sabrina's being defeated as well.
  • 12:11: The west exit of Saffron is blocked by two policemen who say we should enjoy everything Saffron has to offer. As usual, the city is home to the TM for Psychic.
  • 12:36: Guards block the stairways in Silph Co., but before Cyan can be asked to leave, Blue stops the clerk. He works for Silph Co. now, and his new project, a new form of the Master Ball, is missing a chip. Cyan is tasked with finding the guy who has it.
  • 16:03: Cyan has again glitched through the walls of a house.
  • 16:42: Vs. Psychic Box! Who uses an Aggron, a Weavile, and a Crobat, none of which are Psychic-types. Furthermore, Cyan had just finished battling a Super Nerd whose pre- and post-battle text referenced a Weavile as being his pride and joy, but didn't have one.
  • 16:50: With Box down, a Cooltrainer with drastically underleveled Pokémon appears. Though most of his Pokémon aren't level-up evolutions so they're at least possible to have at those levels.
  • 17:06: Cyan gets a Nugget for winning the Battle Challenge, except she doesn't because her bag is full. She does the challenge again, and it's the same battles.
  • 18:18: The 20th Gym has lava everywhere! Just like the first Gym.
  • 18:29: Only Y4 is still standing, but she doesn't even need to act to finish off the third trainer of the Gym as I!C's ability has done the work for her by the time he went down. Still, there's one more trainer before the Gym Leader.
  • 18:40: Vs. Gym Leader Ernest! He leads with Magmortar, and Surf takes it out. Typhlosion is second, same result. Same for Charizard, and same for Camerupt. Y4 is Level 100!
  • 18:41: Rapidash fares no better than Ernest's first four Pokémon, and the Blaze Badge and TM38 are acquired!
  • 18:51: In a house. Then outside of its boundaries.
  • 18:54: And into democracy, still outside the boundaries of the house.
  • 19:11: The Battle Challenge is undertaken again, but Cyan quickly falls. Grinding on the Battle Challenge commences for the next few hours. Also, there's no Elite Four rematch, so all that's left is chasing legends and secret final bosses.
  • 22:06: Finally surfing away from Southerly City.
  • 22:30: In Laurel City.
  • 22:36: Y4's Brick Piece is replaced with the Thunder Ring.
  • 23:40: Ampharos is given a Cheri Berry, then the Polkadot Bow.

    Day 14

Day 14 - Take Me Down to the Glitched-Out City

  • 00:20: Into the Milos Catacombs.
  • 00:29: Fishing somehow reels in Level 97 Forretress. Cyan defeats it.
  • 00:36: Another one appears! A Poké Doll is used to run away.
  • 00:41: After finding it again, Cyan catches a Level 40 Magikarp.
  • 00:47: Two more attempts at Forretress result in running away before a Goldeen is caught at Level 40. Chat still wants the Floating Forretress.
  • 00:50: Floating Forretress appears again, and again Cyan runs away.
  • 00:53: Floating Forretress confirmed as a glitch.
  • 01:10: Attempt 7 ended the same way as attempts 2-6, but Attempt 8 ends the same way Attempt 1 did and Ampharos levels up to 73.
  • 01:20: Ksss the Forretress was captured! Also Ampharos fainted during the attempt.
  • 01:22: ddaaahEEEd the Forretress also captured!
  • 02:10: In a sidescrolling dungeon, fishing again.
  • 02:29: It took 12 balls, but a level 6 Chimecho was caught! That's clearly not supposed to be there either.
  • 04:04: Another Dawn Stone is acquired.
  • 04:14: Mining reveals an Everstone and a Heart Scale.
  • 04:21: Stuck in another glitch. There's an empty text box, a man, and a boulder. Chat dubs this "BOULDEN". Upon further review, it seems that what should have triggered at that point was a battle with Suicune.
  • 05:08: Cyan's moving again, but not controlled by Chat. She's then manually put back where chat left her and inputs start zooming by, and she picks up so many items via mining that by the time things return to normal, she's blazed right past Level 7 and wound up at Level 8.
  • 05:16: And now her mining level is 9.
  • 07:02: Make that 10.
  • 07:39: The hunt is on for one of the game's exclusive Fakemon, and Cyan's Mining Level increases to 11.
  • 07:40: Cyan finds a Max Revive, but can't keep it as her bag is full.
  • 07:43: Same goes for Water Stones...
  • 07:47: ...And Nuggets.
  • 07:56: Mining level to 12.
  • 08:00: Devs reveal that the warp tile needed to reach the Fakemon was incorrectly set and will just take Cyan to Caper City. A patch will be required.
  • 08:06: Cyan passes the time by leveling up her Mining skill again.
  • 08:09: Patching time.
  • 08:18: Mining level is now 15.
  • 08:22: Finally out of pickaxes.
  • 08:42: Tides have lowered, granting access to the Fakemon's home.
  • 08:44: Vs. Libabeel! Female, level 50, known moves are Poison Jab, Iron Head, and Metal Claw.
  • 08:47: 5 Poké Balls at full health were all that was needed! Despite that moveset, she's apparently a Water/Dark-type. She's nicknamed "aiiiir".
  • 09:13: Max Revive finally acquired!
  • ??:??: The happiness rater was revisited, and naturally Cyan's team is at full happiness, so the TM for Return was acquired. Flash was taught to Ampharos, replacing Power Gem, while Return was taught to Bun-E, replacing Drain Punch.
  • 13:26: Flash is used to light up Merson Cave.
  • 13:45: An HP Up is tossed to make room for a Cage Key.
  • 13:50: TM 91 for Final Chance is acquired.
  • 15:32: TM 75 for Shadow Claw is acquired.
  • 15:33: A teleporter takes Cyan to a place without music. The overlay is corrupted every second.
  • 15:38: Phancero is met twice, but flies away both times.
  • 15:43: Fishing yields nothing.
  • 15:44: Cyan reads a sign. It's a glitchy mess.
  • 15:47: Phancero disappears again.
  • 15:50: And again.
  • 15:56: And again.
  • 15:58: Cyan walks across some water and reaches somewhere that resembles the east coast of Cinnabar Island.
  • 15:59: Vs. Phancero! ...Ampharos one-shots it.
  • 16:00: In front of a glitchy Pokémon Center, with a message saying that Cyan's bag feels a little heavier.
  • 16:03: Vs. Phancero, attempt #2! It has the Missingno. sprite during its animation.
  • 16:08: The Master Ball is used on Phancero! Nickname is FFFFF.
  • 18:06: Body Slam is forgotten again, but this time it's intentional, with I!C receiving Dragon Claw instead. Y4 is taught Ice Beam over Aqua Jet as democracy ends.
  • 20:25: Another game crash as a wild encounter begins. Revo says that it was fixed in the latest ROM, but we didn't get it in time. Apparently it was supposed to be a Roaming Legendary.
  • 20:37: After stream briefly went down completely, it comes back up, playing whatever song was last playing in PBR. Which is apparently a Game Corner theme.
  • 20:45: Now the Pinball sidegame is full-screen.
  • 21:03: Prism is back.
  • 21:06: And roaming legendaries still crash it.
  • 21:37: Let's try this again!
  • 22:38: In democracy, Ampharos switched to the front of the party, I!C gets Blackglasses again, and Y4 gets Mystic Water. Finally, Fifi gets Leftovers.

    Day 15

Day 15 - err 0?h was somehow tripped unexpectedly

  • 01:34: Back to Saxifrage Prison.
  • 01:52: Into the cafeteria. There are burgers and fries. Maybe Sylveon has been here?
  • 02:02: Neither the burgers nor an item in the trash can can be obtained due to the bag being full. Chat tries to toss an item and nearly tosses the Upgrade.
  • 02:10: I!C now has the Fire Ring, and both Max Ethers have been used, freeing up space in the bag. The item in the trash is another Cage Key.
  • 02:31: Behind a locked door, a Metagross waits. Cyan catches it and names it ?——ssss. It takes the music with it.
  • 05:05: Dev control again.
  • 05:10: In a cave with no music. There appears to be a man in the middle of the cave, the same one that was locked away in the jail.
  • 05:14: Fambaco appears! It's described as looking like a white Blaziken, except a boar instead of a chicken. It does karate poses and Cyan runs away; sadly, it's not programmed to respawn.
  • 06:26: In a demo house in Laurel Town, doing a fossil puzzle (basically the stuff from the Ruins of Alph). Because of the difficulty levels of said puzzles in Anarchy, this demo house lacks the usual 4-hour cooldown period.
  • 06:59: Puzzle complete! Lileep revived! No nickname as Anarchy returns.
  • 07:07: Starting another puzzle, in anarchy at first but switched to Democracy after 5 minutes.
  • 07:41: This one's complete, too, and Anorith is obtained. Nickname is TTTJJS SRA.
  • 07:43: Lord Armor's turn!
  • 08:24: Shieldon successfully revived, named ELLLFFFFFF. Chat predictably breaks into BORTs.
  • 08:31: err 09h was somehow tripped unexpectedly
  • 08:49: Game's back.
  • 09:27: Democracy is used to toss unwanted items such as the Smoke Ball and the Upgrade.
  • 10:09: Route 82 is visited for the first time since Surf was acquired.
  • 12:37: Item 0 is acquired. Inputs and stream are frozen!
  • 13:55: A strange sound as the screen goes blank. This time it's err 08h that was somehow tripped unexpectedly.
  • ??:??: Articuno captured in Seneca Caverns!
  • 17:26: Twistedspoon acquired.
  • 18:35: Cyan's smelting level rises to 4, then almost immediately to 5.
  • 19:56: Great use of that Shiny Ball, guys. A shiny Wild Koffing appears, but Cyan is uninterested in obtaining another and runs away.
  • 22:15: Into democracy. Cyan can't participate in the Level 50 challenge because her Pokémon's levels are too high and won't scale down.

    Day 16

Day 16 - Battle Arcade

  • 00:14: ROM update!
  • 03:54: A Chinchou is caught and named I, leading to the immortal phrase "I was sent to Box 11."
  • 05:47: Back in the Bingo hall from Day 8, using Democracy to check off accomplishments. Completed Rijon League, Revived a fossil, owned at least 75 species (currently 113!)
  • 05:51: 50,000 of the requisite 1,000 units of Ash in Cyan's Soot Sack, so the only thing keeping her from completing that line of her card is...owning 4 Eeveelutions, as Cyan has none.
  • 05:52: Cyan has only cleared two of the required 3 rounds of the Battle Arcade, but she's beaten Pachisi once, found the Rival's secret hiding place, and gotten a Pokémon to Level 100.
  • 05:54: She also owns a Naljo Guardian, namely Libabeel. Her high score at the Battle Arcade is only 2399, well short of the required 6000, so that's out.
  • 05:56: Her mining level is only 15; the bingo card wants to see 20. Also it wants to see 30 gold tokens; Cyan has only 13. She owns a Tyranitar, but is only 1 for 3 on both Johto and Kanto Starters...wait, what? Isn't it 2 Johto starters and 0 Kanto starters? ...At some point, probably on Day 13 because the .org has it listed later than the Shiny Koffing and earlier than the Floating Forretress, but unable to be confirmed because it also has the Metagross listed in that time frame when that's clearly not the case, a Squirtle was obtained. Meanwhile, there is no record of there having ever been a Cyndaquil in Cyan's possession.
  • 06:02: Democracy may be over, but Cyan's bingo-playing continues. She's got 2 secret items out of a required 1, as well as a secret Rijon item. She lacks the required 5 Jewel Mining levels and also the requisite 100,000 Pokéyen.
  • 06:05: She needs Smithing level 10, currently at 6; but she needs only 1000 battles and has had 2933.
  • 06:07: She needs 2 Ball Making levels and 500 Orphan Points; neither is a thing she's had.
  • 06:52: Aerial Ace Kreygasm
  • 11:27: This time Cyan can claim the Nuggets from the Battle Challenge.
  • 12:06 and 12:38: Two more Nuggets acquired.
  • 13:33: After getting one more Nugget from the challenge, Cyan talks to a person who says "Object event"
  • 13:43: Tunod Waterway. Wait, Tunod? No wonder Cyan's moving through solid objects...
  • 13:50: Now in Laurel City. The part of Laurel City that is actually a cave.
  • 14:28: Heading to the Battle Arcade.
  • 18:24: After a number of runs where Cyan makes it to Round 2 or 3, she forfeits the very first match. This still nets her 4 tickets, and Chat realizes that that's a quicker way to earn them.
  • 18:30: This is confirmed to be a glitch. Some protest using it, but the forfeiture continues.
  • 19:47: Devs take control. During the downtime, the henceforth largely uncharacterized member of Cyan's party, Ampharos, received a dedicated piece of lore art, finally giving him a fan-name: Pharos.
  • 21:46: An invisible PC is activated, and before Cyan knows what hit her, Bun-E is in the box.
  • 21:47: Democracy activates. It's used to withdraw Phancero! Another battle challenge begins, and goes to Round 4.

    Day 17

Day 17 - No Elite Four Rematch

  • 03:48: Live updating resumes just in time to see that Attempt #1 at the rematch Elite 4 reaches Mura. The Rematch Elite Four have the exact same teams and movesets as the regular Elite Four, but 30 levels higher.
  • 03:55: Which means Yuki still gets swept by Fifi.
  • 04:13: She can't use pure level advantage to handle her weakness to Gyarados or Gliscor, though, and only Y4 makes it through to Daichi.
  • 04:19: Who ends Attempt #2.
  • 05:04: After leaving for some catches, Cyan doesn't heal before taking on Yuki, leaving Fifi without even enough Flamethrowers to handle her whole team. She switches to Flare Blitz for the win.
  • 05:33: Y4 manages to pull through the Daichi battle, but can only take out two of Mura's Pokémon.
  • 05:38: Democracy.
  • 05:40: The Voices decide that Miller has finally had enough of being tortured about his failure to become a Gallade and give him the King's Rock instead of a Dawn Stone. Fifi's Leftovers are replaced with a second King's Rock, and then the Leftovers are given to Y4.
  • 06:07: Curse takes Y4 down during the Sora battle! Preemptive RIP Run 4.
  • 06:17: I!C is the only one standing as Daichi goes down.
  • 06:21: I!C sweeps Mura! Cyan runs right past her father and slams into the back wall of his room.
  • 06:23: I!C takes down Salamence, but falls to Garchomp.
  • 06:36: Fifi, Miller, and I!C all go down against Sora, but Pharos's Crystal Bolt is able to finish things up. And...ball spam means that even with Y4 healthy, not a single one of Daichi's Pokémon go down.
  • 06:54: Phancero goes down after Fifi against Sora on Run 6, but I!C sweeps. She's level 98, but her experience bar is glitched, going all the way back up the very next battle after getting there.
  • 07:00: Rhydon leads off against Pharos, but Daichi switches to Flygon. Crystal Bolt hits anyway, revealing it to be basically the Electric-type equivalent to Thousand Arrows, and Y4 comes in and sweeps.
  • 07:09: Pharos went down against Mura after taking out the Fearow, but I!C sweeps!
  • 07:12: Thanks to Intimidate, I!C can't OHKO Salamence and falls to Dragon Claw. Miller uses Moonblast to finish it, and Gyarados is in next; it paralyzes Miller, but he has Synchronize and paralyzes Gyarados right back. Miller wins, but immediately loses to Garchomp. Y4 takes it out, but can't handle Flygon.
  • 07:33: Even with Yuki being handled flawlessly, Sora manages to pull off a win in the next attempt.
  • 07:41: Ampharos takes out Gyarados on Attempt 8, then nearly handles Gliscor as well. I!C sweeps.
  • 07:48: Y4 can't take all the earthquakes and falls, followed by Phancero. Miller Moonblasts away.
  • 07:54: I!C sweeps Mura!
  • 07:58: But Garchomp takes out both I!C and Miller.
  • 08:05: Yuki goes down without a hitch, but it's still notable because Fifi's level 100 now!
  • 08:16: As is I!C! Unfortunately, Y4 is already down as I!C finishes off Sora and so is Ampharos.
  • 08:22: And so is everyone else. White out to Daichi on attempt 9.
  • 08:41: Y4 succumbs to Curse damage on Run 10, with Fifi and Phancero already down.
  • 08:48: Pharos takes out Rhydon before falling to Steelix. Miller takes it out and follows up by beating down Rhyperior and almost dropping Donphan. I!C finishes things up.
  • 08:57: Crunch sweeps through Mura, but I!C, at full health at the start of the battle, has just 16 HP left.
  • 09:00: It's a quick loss to Lance.
  • 09:09: Ball spam slows down the Yuki battle, but Fifi still wins at half health.
  • 09:11: I!C is successfully switched in on turn one against Sora and Crunches everything to win.
  • 09:16: Daichi's AI continues to be awful, as his first move of the battle is to switch from Rhydon to Steelix despite Cyan leading off with Fifi.
  • 09:17: Rhydon gets burned, and Donphan is very nearly defeated by Fifi as well.
  • 09:18: With Donphan already so greatly weakened, Phancero is able to actually prove itself to not be more useless than a Fearow, getting its first victory in the Elite Four and leveling up to 51 as a result. Y4 then cleans house after Flygon downs the OLDEN bird.
  • 09:22: Pharos to level 88 after finishing the Fearow, survives a crit Earthquake but falls to a second. Weezing's Mustard Gas is both a crit and causes a burn, leading to I!C going down. Y4 then uses Surf to finish the battle.
  • 09:27: The bad news: Only two Pokémon available for the battle with Lance. The good news: it's Miller and Y4. Miller uses Moonblast to take out Salamence, then gets paralyzed by Gyarados's Thunder Wave but still two-shots with Moonblasts. Altaria and Garchomp fall to Moonblasts as well. Finally, the parahax gets to him and brings him down to Charizard...but that leaves Y4 to take on the two members least threatening to her.
  • 09:31: Surf takes out Charizard in one shot, and Strength takes out Flygon! TEH URN!
  • 09:35: It wouldn't be a TPP run if they didn't accidentally hit New Game after the credits at least once. Streamer comes to the rescue.
  • 09:56: In democracy, Phancero loses Wrap and gains Wing Attack. In anarchy again, Cyan tosses 78 Poké Balls while trying to Fly, then flies to Oxalis City, Heath Village, Oxalis City, Oxalis City, Oxalis City, Oxalis City, Oxalis City, Oxalis City, Oxalis City, Oxalis City, Oxalis City, Route 86, and Oxalis City. She decides it might be easier to leave Oxalis by sea rather than by air and lets Y4 carry her away.
  • 12:00: Into the Magma Cavern, collecting ash.
  • 13:33: Inputs stop.
  • 13:44: Inputs restart.
  • 18:13: In Clathrite Tunnel, heading back to Bingo lady because mining and smelting have been sufficiently leveled up. Bun-E has returned to the party.
  • 18:22: Brief stream outage.
  • 18:50: Democracy is used for bingo, and the bottom row is completed!
  • 18:55: The man at the counter gives Cyan an Amulet Coin and TM 96.
  • 19:02: Chat was expecting that a Bingo would give them a key item required to face another Fakemon. Instead, Cyan goes to listen to 𝕸𝖞𝖑𝖊𝖘 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝕲𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖙.
  • 19:32: Another ROM change. Devs continue to work behind the scenes as the screen stays black.
  • 19:39: Inputs go to plaid again! Then Cyan finds the Metang that the chat had been looking for. She runs away. The next one gets pelted with Poké Balls, but eventually blows itself up.
  • 20:25: Another stream pause; resumption 7 minutes later.
  • 20:49: Cyan catches a Trapinch, because it has Arena Trap and Pharos was out of PP for both Crystal Bolt and Dragon Pulse.
  • 21:17: Gold Token found!
  • 21:53: Reentering Tunod Waterway.
  • 21:54: And now surfing in "South Southerly".
  • 21:59: Checkpoint at Southerly City Pokémon Center.
  • 22:09: A trainer welcomes us to the Mystery League. Vs. Trainer Brown! ...Nope, not called "Paul". Not-Paul leads off with a Scizor, which Fifi one-shots. He then sends out a Golem! One Earthquake, plus the recoil from Flare Blitzing both Golem (twice) and Scizor, finishes Fifi.
  • 22:10: Y4 starts flinging Ice Beams...wait, when'd she learn Ice Beam? It takes out Biggest Stick and a Victreebel, but Thunderbolt from Jolteon finishes her off.
  • 22:11: Miller starts Moonblasting, requiring two of them to take out Jolteon, but just one to take out Machamp.
  • 22:12: Miller's first Moonblast misses Charizard, and it takes four more to finish it off, but Miller manages and reaches Level 87.
  • 22:15: Vs. Trainer Gold! Ampharos vs. Ampharos. Gold's has a 95-88 level advantage, but Cyan's still wins. Ursaring comes in and defeats Pharos with Earthquake.
  • 22:18: Bun-E comes in and Plays Rough to defeat Ursaring, then Umbreon. Meganium takes him out, though.
  • 22:21: I!C swept through all three Johto starters! Trainer Gold defeated!
  • 22:23: The final trainer is Red. He uses his team from vanilla GSC', except entirely at Level 100. I!C takes out Pikachu and Snorlax, but falls to Venusaur.
  • 22:25: After a Moonblast finishes the Venusaur, Miller switches to Tri Attack against Espeon. RNGesus smiles upon him and freezes it! With no Full Restores left, it falls.
  • 22:26: Signal Beam is ineffective against Charizard and so is Moonblast, but Lava Pool fails 4 straight times. Maybe it's an OHKO move? Miller switches to Psychic and finishes the 'Zard.
  • 22:27: Miller is faster and uses Psychic. Blastoise responds with Ice Beam, Miller in the Red. Miller uses Psychic again and Blastoise is down! TEH URN against the Mystery League on Attempt #1!' Credits roll, and Cyan winds up in Saffron City.
  • 22:48: Fifi somehow learns Roar over Flare Blitz.
  • 23:04: Cyan is called a "foolish child" by the master of the Fighting Dojo because her bag is too full to receive the Black Belt that he tries to give her.
  • 23:14: Pharos forgets Flash for Toxic.
  • 23:15: ...When did Y4 learn Play Rough? Because her lack of Fairy-type moves was kind of a plot point for most of the first E4 run. Well, she's without it again, because for the first time all run, Y4 knows Rollout.
  • 23:17: And that officially marks the end of the run. Nobody knows Body Slam.
