30F - 30th Floor Epilogue

    Season 2: Ch. 108 (Chapter 187)

With the Workshop Battle over, Viole wakes up the next day at a 30th Floor resort owned by Wolhaiksong resting alongside his old teammates, Khun and Rak. In another room, a sleeping Wangnan is shown to have recovered from his injury, but he's in the middle of having a bad dream where an image of Reflejo taunts at him during the moment that he's trying to summon Viole during Growth Tournament. Reflejo claiming that Wangnan doesn't have the right to have friends because of what he actually is. Wangnan then wakes up, which he's told by Ehwa the results of the Workshop Battle regarding everyone making it out alive and well, and that they're being watched over by Wolhaiksong.

Wangnan gets out of bed, and joins Shibisu, Akraptor, and Prince outside his room to show that he's somehow perfectly okay despite Beta stabbing him through the heart. However, Shibisu informs him to keep taking care of Bam since his Team Shibisu has already qualified to take the 30th Floor test in a few days to become D-rank Regulars, and their team can't wait on Bam to get his qualification given that their team has goals of their own that they need to accomplish in the Tower. Nearby, Blarode and Quaetro watch their conversation. Given Wangnan's remarkable recovery power, as well as witnessing Viole's strength, Blarode deduces that it would perhaps be best for him and Quaetro to stay as part of their team.

Meanwhile, the Rankers, Hachuling, Lero-Ro, and Quant, as well as resort manager Majex, and a Wolhaiksong D-ranker Toulalan, discuss how FUG hasn't reacted yet to their loss at the Workshop Battle. Hachuling deduces that there's currently an internal struggle going on within FUG, which he agrees to keep this a secret with Lero-Ro and Quant to not provide more trouble for the Regulars. Knowing that the Regulars surrounding Viole are set to become D-rankers, the three of them discuss how they're most likely going to come across the D-rank area's Hell Train that allows for Regulars to skip several Floors, and get dropped off at the Hidden Floor that can't be accessed any other way. Elsewhere, Viole is seen waiting on standby for his date with Endorsi. At that same time on the Tower's 97th Floor, Jinsung arrives at FUG Slayer Karaka's secret lair only to be blocked off by the entrance guards.

    Season 2: Ch. 109 (Chapter 188)

Jinsung easily disposes of the guards blocking his way into Karaka's 97th Floor lair, and then greets said FUG Slayer, who's sitting on his throne. Karaka offers his former teacher, Jinsung, a chair to discuss things properly, which after sitting down, Jinsung calls out Karaka for the stunt he tried to pull at the Workshop Battle being Karaka's own personal wish rather than for the FUG organization as a whole. Jinsung implies that Karaka possibly killed a FUG doyen that was conspiring with him to keep this incident under wraps, but Karaka counters that he's deduced that Jinsung is moving against him to weaken his power by keeping Viole and the Thorn away from him. Jinsung chooses to leave after the accusation, but gives Karaka a warning to stop overstepping the boundaries, or else the growing Viole will return to take his senior FUG Slayer off his throne.

Following Jinsung's departure, Poken arrives to inform Karaka that they got a report from Submerged Fish (implied to be Yu Hansung), which Karaka accepts. That along with reporting that Viole's currently staying at a 30th Floor resort before returning to climb the Tower, Poken also informs Karaka that given Viole is about to enter the D-rank territory of the Tower, he will surely come across the Hell Train. Knowing for a fact that Viole will return one day to fight him with the Thorn, Karaka deduces that he needs to get his plan moving before that day happens.

Back to the 30th Floor, Endorsi waits at the meeting spot for her date with Bam, but becomes annoyed that her Emily terminal has stopped working to help her locate Bam on her own. Rak, Ehwa, and Prince are seen spying on their date as Viole is seen finally making it to the meeting place. Khun then appears behind Rak, Ehwa, and Prince, having followed them because he was he was worried for Bam. Needing to be somewhere else, Khun then leaves calling out the other three for their disgusting actions of spying on a friend, but admits to himself that he's glad that he doesn't have to keep watch over Bam himself. Afterwards, Endorsi pulls Viole along with her to begin their date.

At a cafe in the resort, Khun meets with Nobic and Ran to discuss what they're going to do from here on out. Khun explains that he's decided to climb the Tower again with Bam, but would like for Nobic and Ran to become a second team that would help one another climb the Tower. Khun also gives Nobic and Ran's team the primary task of finding Rachel, and eliminating her when she's found. Naming Nobic as the second team's leader, Nobic accepts the deal, but given that their original team feel apart due to Rachel and the traitors, he points out that they're a bit short on team members. However, Khun's already prepared for that as Dan and Sia are seen arriving at their meeting.

Meanwhile, Endorsi and Viole go about their date. They're having a meal together after watching a movie, which Endorsi starts to notice that Rak, Ehwa, and Prince are following them. While chatting with Viole, Endorsi thinks over how she's forgotten why she came to like Bam in the first place given that it's been seven years since they last hung out together on the 2nd Floor. She asks Bam how his experience in FUG was, to which Bam answers that he tried every day to become stronger so that he can protect the lives of his precious friends. He states that he feels relieved that his training has paid off since he got to see Endorsi again after all this time, which causes Endorsi to remember back to the 2nd Floor when Bam told her that he's glad she isn't lonely anymore. She gives off a smile remembering that this is why she's fallen for him as she decides to move to another location with Viole to get away from Rak, Ehwa, and Prince who are still spying on them.

Endorsi and Viole move to a private location of the resort using the Bong Bong fairy, which Endorsi asks Bam what he plans to do from here on out now that he's escaped from FUG. She answers it herself knowing that Bam is probably going to chase after Rachel again, which she confirms to be the case given his determined expression. Feeling a bit jealous, Endorsi gives Viole a kiss on the cheek to provide him an unforgettable memory. The two of them then get back to finishing their date. Meanwhile at an abandoned castle somewhere on the 30th Floor, Traveller and Cassano arrive to meet their new team. The two of them enter a room where they're greeted by four cloaked people. One of which is Rachel, who welcomes them both to her team.

    Season 2: Ch. 110 (Chapter 189)

Upon meeting Rachel and her group, Traveller remains suspicious about what's going on as Cassano informs the team that the plan was a success despite being unable to recruit Horyang. Another of the four who takes off his hood, Michael, asks if Cassano brought the item, which Cassano show the red vial key as evidence that he now has control of Emily for the team. Now that they have what they need, Rachel decides that it's about time they begin their journey to save the Tower's destiny.

Returning to the Wolhaiksong resort, three days pass as the Viole, Khun and Rak team watch over their group of Regulars enjoying their last day together before Shibisu's Team has to leave to take the 30th Floor test. Khun asks Bam if he's going to miss them, but the latter answers that this time around, he has the reunion to look forward to after everyone becomes a D-rank Regular. At this point, Shibisu had finally handed Viole the Wolhaiksong symbol that Yuri gave to the former on the 2nd Floor, which Khun gives him the bad news that Hachuling told him Urek Mazino isn't going to be stopping by any time soon due to running into trouble. Khun asks why Bam is perfectly ok with meeting a dangerous Irregular, to which Viole answers that he just wants to hear more stories about outside the Tower from him. At this point, Goseng arrives to tell them that a problem has come up.

Goseng leads Viole, Khun, and Rak to Horyang's room where Wangnan's been watching over him, and learn that Ilmar has still been unconscious ever since they rescued him from Reflejo's FUG Team. Having been watching over Ilmar until this point, Sophia reveals that Horyang's been put into a coma due to Cassano taking away the devil that Workshop had forced into him through the Living Ignition Weapon experiments. Beta, who's also been watching him, reveals that Cassano has powered himself up by reuniting the two devil halves into one body to become a perfect Living Ignition Weapon, but is confused as to how Cassano obtained such a skill to absorb someone else's devil. Wangnan concludes that the only way to get Horyang out of his coma is to chase after Cassano to get the devil back, and figures that it will be easy by using Emily, but Beta gives them the bad news that ever since the Workshop Battle ended, the Emily terminals have stopped working.

Beta concludes that Emily not working anymore is no doubt a part of Cassano's plan given that FUG was looking to make a deal with someone to hand Emily over to. The group remains confused as to what Cassano would need a chatting bot for, but Sophia reveals that Emily is actually a powerful Living Ignition Weapon that they've been keeping under control by making her think that she's human, but now that that's no longer the case, Sophia fears for the worst if Cassano manages to properly ignite Emily as it could lead to something disastrous. The group discusses how they're supposed to find Cassano without the aid of Emily, but Viole points out that they still have the FUG guide in their possession, Hwaryun.

Arriving at Hwaryun's resort prison room, the Guide states that she knows why they're here, which is to show them the path that will lead them to Cassano. However, she refuses to tell them given that she's been made a prisoner despite helping Viole escape FUG. Khun counters that Hwaryun could already see the future of them coming to her for help, and states that she will be allowed to travel with them if she shows them the path, which Hwaryun easily accepts. Hwaryun informs them of the D-rank area's Hell Train express that travels from the 35th Floor up to the 43rd's Hidden Floor. She states that the train will be the likely location that they will meet Cassano, which the group agrees to go after given that it's their only lead, and will probably take them about a year-and-a-half to reach. Before Viole leaves, Hwaryun reminds him to get stronger now that he has the content life that his FUG teacher, Jinsung, always wanted him to have. She also warns Viole that he will be facing a great danger some time in the future, as well as get the chance to face the FUG higher-ups that put him and his friends in danger up to this point.

Some time later, Viole and company give their goodbyes to Team Shibisu as they get on the transport to head off to take the 30th Floor test. Hwaryun is seen looking at the news reports, and sees that FUG's attack on the Workshop Battle was easily covered up due to it being a tournament revoling around low E-rank Regulars that no one higher up really cares about. Rachel and her followers are seen beginning to move as Viole is seen cutting off his hair to return to his original appearance as Twenty-Fifth Bam. Hwaryun is left wondering how Bam will react when he finally meets Rachel again.

Long Summary

    Resting After the Workshop Battle

Viole with his original teammates

Following the end of the Workshop Battle, Viole spent the night resting in a resort building with Khun and Rak. He suddenly wakes up only to see Khun and Rak still snoring away in deep sleep. Rak is seen resting on Viole's leg, which the latter finds to be a bit heavy. Looking down at the sleeping Rak and Khun, Viole then looks out the window, and is amazed to think that he somehow made it back.

Meanwhile, a purple-colored Wangnan is seen back at the Item Store's Pond of Calling yelling for Viole to be summoned. Wangnan informs Viole that his comrades are here waiting for him, but it's at this point that a blue-masked Reflejo appears instead of the Slayer Candidate. Reflejo gives Wangnan the bad news that he cannot be summoned, which confuses Wangnan, and orders for Reflejo to give Viole back. However, Reflejo answers that Wangnan has no rights to have friends. Before Reflejo could explain why Wangnan is someone that isn't allowed to have friends, Wangnan suddenly wakes up from the dream screaming NO.

Ehwa, who had been remaining at Wangnan's bedside, is shocked by Wangnan's wake-up scream, and is left confused to see Wangnan panting, and out of breath. Seeing Wangnan staring at her in confusion, Ehwa asks what he wants, to which he answers that he's hungry. However, he states that he wants something that's not cooked by her given Ehwa's poor cooking, which enrages her.

Wangnan glad to hear that everyone made it out of the Workshop Battle

Getting to the main topic, Wangnan figures that since he's alive resting in a bed, the Workshop Battle has come to an end, which Wangnan answers to be the case. Wangnan also asks about Viole and Horyang, which Ehwa answers that Viole was successfully summoned, and reunited with his old friends from the 2nd Floor. She also mentions that everyone got out safe, including Horyang who is currently still unconscious. Wangnan asks about their current location given that it's obviously not the Archimedes, to which Ehwa answers that they're at a resort run by Wolhaiksong.

Ehwa starts to explain that they received help from Rankers, which surprises Wangnan. Ehwa tries to explain once more that there are apparently Rankers within Wolhaiksong that have known Viole the whole time, which Wangnan accepts as the answer. Thinking it over, Wangnan is glad to hear that everyone, including Viole and Horyang, have made it out of the Workshop Battle, and accidentally kicks Ehwa away in excitement. He then looks up at the ceiling, and is happy to think that everything is now over. Ehwa spots Wangnan's Jahad ring lying on the bed near him, and remains silent about it. She then gets up to leave the room, and asks for Wangnan to soon return to them all since everyone is still worried about him, which Wangnan agrees to do. After Ehwa leaves, Wangnan breathes a sigh of relief.

Shibisu informs Wangnan that his team will be climbing the Tower without Bam

At a table outside Wangnan's room, Shibisu, Akraptor, and Prince are seen having a chat, and ask Ehwa how Wangnan's doing. Ehwa answers that they should see for themselves as Wangnan appears out of the room claiming that the invincible self-proclaimed Prince has returned. Shibisu, Akraptor, and Prince are glad to see that the hero of the Workshop Battle is finally awake, which a shy Wangnan claims that he didn't contribute that much. However, Shibisu reassures Wangnan that his will to get Viole summoned was all thanks to him, and that they wouldn't have been able to reunite with Bam if it wasn't for Wangnan. Shibisu then asks Wangnan, the leader of Sweet and Sour, to take care of Bam for them, which surprises Wangnan.

Taking a seat next to Shibisu, Wangnan asks what the latter means by taking care of Bam, and is confused as to why this sounds like Shibisu and company aren't going to be climbing the Tower alongside Viole. Shibisu admits that while that would be nice, his group has already passed the qualification to enter the 30th Floor test to become D-rank Regulars. He informs Wangnan that Team Shibisu has to leave in three days to go take the 30th Floor test, and states that they would only get the chance to see Viole again after the team he's in becomes D-rankers as well. Wangnan thinks over the thought of Sweet and Sour becoming D-rank Regulars as Team Shibisu is seen back at their hotel room all going crazy in preparation having forgotten that their team is taking the 30th Floor test in a couple days. Shibisu points out that people in his team have goals of their own that they need to accomplish in the Tower, and states that they can't stop and wait on Bam to get his qualification for the 30th Floor test. He asks for Wangnan to make sure that his Sweet and Sour team can catch up to them, and says that the next time they meet, the two teams can have a match to see how strong both sides have gotten.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_04_6.jpg
Blarode and Quaetro decide to stay in Wangnan and Viole's team

Wangnan begins to sweat at the thought of having a match against the monsters that Shibisu is teamed up with. Wangnan begins to feel a sharp pain in his chest, which everyone fears to be a result of the wound he received from Beta. However, Wangnan reassures them that it was just the pain of excitement, which the group yells in anger not to scare them, and causes Wangnan to giggle in agreement.

Blarode and Quaetro are seen watching Wangnan's conversation with the group. The former points out how surprising it is to see Wangnan moving about having fully recovered in one day despite Beta piercing him through the heart. Quaetro answers that it's because Wangnan is the amazing invincible chickling, but Blarode thinks to himself that this case is intriguing considering that he originally thought that Wangnan was worthless. He begins to wonder if he's better off following under Wangnan's team, or perhaps even follow after Viole.

Looking nearby at Ehwa sneaking a peak at Wangnan, Blarode confirms that he's not the only one who's noticed the oddity that surrounds Wangnan. Ehwa then backs away before anyone notices that she was spying on Wangnan's conversation with Shibisu.

    Wolhaiksong Ranker Meeting

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_05.jpg
Rankers Hachuling, Lero-Ro, and Quant, gather to discuss FUG's current state

Nearby, the three Rankers of Wolhaiksong who interrupted the Workshop Battle are seen having a meeting. These Rankers include Lero-Ro, Quant, Hachuling. Hachuling asks the group if there's been any sign of FUG beginning to move, which there hasn't. He's also told that there hasn't been any changes regarding the Archimedes. Hachuling points out that a Workshop Battle for just E-rank Regulars doesn't gain much attention in the Tower, but questions how crazy it would have gotten if they mentioned in the broadcast that the higher-ups of the Tower got involved. Lero-Ro questions if what Hachuling is referring to means that the E-rank Workshop Battle unfolded through someone's plan amongst the higher-ups, which Hachuling answers that while he can't confirm it, there's a high probability that FUG is currently dealing with internal conflicts at the highest level.

Thinking about the possibility that FUG is dealing with internal struggles, Hachuling wonders if they need to take action in order to keep the new Slayer Candidate safe, but admits to himself that his theory is an incredibly excessive one. Lero-Ro begins to ask how Hachuling is going to handle this incident from here on out, but Hachuling reassures the former that he doesn't intend to tell anyone about what they learned in the Workshop Battle, as well as bully around his cute brother's friends (referring to Khun). Hachuling also thinks about how angry Princess Yuri will be by refusing to tell her anything about Bam's situation.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_06.jpg
Rankers discuss how Bam and company are set to come across the Hell Train

Two people who had been watching the three Rankers' conversation off on the side are the resort manager, Majex, and a spare D-rank Wolhaiksong Regular known as Toulalan. Hachuling asks about the location of the vice-captain, which Majex answers that he was unable to get hold of him, but is sure that he's out somewhere drinking, and chasing after girls. Hachuling figures that it will be difficult to meet the vice captain then, which Majex suggests that he should just give up for now. Lero-Ro notes how Toulalan is just a D-rank Regular, and states that he's amazed to see that he's been noticed by Wolhaiksong at such a young age, but Toulalan answers that this is nothing since he's just a spare to make sure that nothing happens at the selection area.

Hearing the talk about D-rank Regulars, Quant points out that this reminds him of that special express that exists in that area of the Tower, the Hell Train. Lero-Ro and Hachuling know exactly what Quant is referring to, the train that allows Regulars to skip as many as six Floors of the Tower at once. They point out that it's well known that no one can survive the train, but state that those who do end up at the special Hidden Floor of the Tower. Quant wonders if the rumor is true that the most beautiful lady is currently sleeping there, but Hachuling adds in that he's actually been there before. Quant is shocked to hear Hachuling's claim, and asks what he saw at the Hidden Floor, but the latter ignores the question. Turning to Toulalan, Hachuling asks if he's aiming for the Hidden Floor as well, but the D-rank Regular remains silent. Hachuling points out that if he is, he should be prepared for it being a tough task since the next Hell Train run is going to be a competitive one. Hachuling warns Toulalan that this time around, a monster (Viole) might be boarding it.

    Jinsung Confronts Karaka

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_07.jpg
Jinsung arrives at Karaka's secret lair on the Tower's 97th Floor

Meanwhile, Viole is seen looking out at the 30th Floor sky from outside the Wolhaiksong resort. He receives a message on his Pocket from Endorsi ordering him to meet her at the gate by 2 o'clock, or else she will kill him.

Switching to the 97th Floor of the Tower, the setting is FUG Slayer Karaka's secret lair. FUG Ranker Jinsung arrives at the door, and is greeted by the two large doormen, one colored red while the other is colored blue, protecting the entrance. They order for Jinsung to state his name, but Jinsung remains silent at the order, and states that this is why he hates youngsters.

Jinsung orders the doormen to get down as the large red guard smashes face first into the ground due to being pulled down by Jinsung's shinsu. The blue doorman is shocked to see his friend fall so easily, and attempts to hit Jinsung with his giant weapon. However, Jinsung just stands in his spot, and takes the weapon head on. The blue doorman is shocked to see that he was unable to move Jinsung as the latter states that the doormen are failing to act their own size. He offers the blue doorman a bit of advice that more power is needed in his punches, and offers to show how it's done. Powering up shinsu in his right hand, Jinsung throws a powerful punch that easily knocks out the blue doorman, and smashes the front door of Karaka's lair open.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_08.jpg
Teacher Jinsung calls out his Karaka student for the stunt he tried to pull

Entering Karaka's lair, people all around who work under Karaka notice Jinsung entering through the broken door, and ask if Jinsung has a death wish forcing his way in here. They state that it will be easy to take him on given that Jinsung is all alone. However, all Jinsung replies with is giving off a nasty grin.

Moments later within the main area of Karaka's lair, Jinsung walks toward Karaka sitting on his throne chair while red eyes of Karaka's followers all around him watch the meeting from a distance. Behind Jinsung are many people that he's knocked out, which Jinsung asks if Karaka provided him this warm up to test if the teacher has gone stiff. Karaka states that Jinsung should have told him ahead of time that he would be stopping by here and orders for his followers to provide his teacher with a chair. The senior FUG Slayer then gives a proper welcome to Jinsung.

Jinsung gets straight to the point, and calls out Karaka for the stunt he pulled trying to target the new Slayer Candidate at the Archimedes Workshop Battle. He asks why Karaka would do such a thing given that his actions have also made FUG's leader, Mirchea, confused, which Karaka answers that it was all to achieve FUG's long-cherished wish. However, Jinsung counters that Karaka's actions were solely for his wish, which leaves Karaka silent.

Jinsung informs Karaka that last night, one of FUG's doyens who had been conspiring along with Karaka's plan had died. The teacher states that while he wasn't the one who killed the doyen, he had hoped that said conspirator would stay alive so that they could hear his testimony regarding FUG's involvement in the E-rank Workshop Battle. Jinsung implies that Karaka probably did it knowing that Karaka has the power to mess with FUG's powerful doyens, and states that the senior FUG Slayer's power is indeed scary. However, Karaka replies that teacher Jinsung is actually the scary one. Showing his Jahad ring before Jinsung, Karaka asks his teacher if he knew about all this from the beginning, which leaves Jinsung silent. Karaka explains that he's come to the conclusion of how Jinsung ruined his entire plan for the sake of weakening Karaka's power, and figures that his teacher was behind moving Viole and the Thorn to a safe location.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_09.jpg
Karaka concluding that he needs to put his plan in motion before Viole returns

Hearing enough of his students' complaints, Jinsung gets up, and begins to walk away. However, he leaves off telling Karaka a warning that he will regret it if he attempts to continue overstepping the boundaries. Jinsung states that Viole's growth is increasing at an incredible rate, and at some point in the future, he may return to FUG to take Karaka off his throne. The statement leaves Karaka completely silent as Jinsung asks for his student to use this time to reflect on his mischievous deeds, and finally walks out of Karaka's lair for good.

Karaka continues to remain silent as Poken appears to inform his master that they've received a message from Submerged Fish. Karaka accepts the report, and asks about what Viole is doing at the moment. Poken answers that Viole is currently staying at a resort on the 30th Floor, but is about ready to continue climbing up the Tower. Knowing that people become D-rank Regulars after the 30th Floor, Karaka realizes that the Hell Train will be a highly likely location that Viole will aim for. He leaves off telling Poken to not make any more mistakes from here on out, which Poken accepts, and leaves Karaka to be by himself again.

Thinking things over, Karaka admits to himself that he already knows for a fact that Viole will one day return with the Thorn to attempt to claim his life. Gripping his chair in frustration, Karaka states that he needs to act before that day comes, and he has to do it before his meeting with Viole some time in the far future finally goes down between the two of them.

    Meeting Endorsi for a Date

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_10.jpg
Endorsi awaits for Bam so that they can finally have their date

At another location on the 30th Floor's resort, the Regulars are all looking in surprise at the Jahad Princess, Endorsi, standing alone nearby. The Regulars remain confused as to why she's here as Endorsi states to herself that waiting around is such a boring task. She thinks to herself that she thought this was the best outcome changing their meeting place due to everyone continuing to stare at her, and claims that Bam is an idiot for not appearing here yet. Endorsi then looks at her Emily terminal, and gets annoyed as to why she can't connect to Emily anymore to help her find Bam's location. Nearby, Khun, Rak, Ehwa, and Prince, are all seen spying on Endorsi as they see Viole finally arriving to greet the Jahad Princess.

Endorsi asks Bam why he's so late, which Viole answers that it's because she wasn't at her desk, which Endorsi answers that he should have noticed her text informing him about the new meeting location. Rak, Ehwa, and Prince are all seen staring at them in jealousy. Rak finds Endorsi scary for suddenly targeting the black turtle as Ehwa is left annoyed that Viole is out on a date the moment of his return. Prince is left enraged that Viole managed to score a date with a forbidden Jahad Princess, and cannot forgive him out of extreme jealousy.

Khun calls the three of them out that spying on someone's personal life makes them the worst people, which causes Rak, Ehwa, and Prince to react in anger. Ehwa claims that they're just monitoring them while Rak orders Khun to do something about this before Endorsi takes away Bam.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_12.jpg
Khun, Rak, Ehwa, and Prince, spy on Viole and Endorsi's date

Prince also adds that he wants Khun to score him a date with a Jahad Princess. However, Khun walks away claiming that he has things to take care of, and asks for the three to just continue monitoring the Bam and Endorsi date. The three spies all call out to Khun to at least use the White Heavenly Mirror to get Viole away from Endorsi.

Continuing to walk away, Khun admits to himself that he was also worried about Bam, but is glad to see that there are others here to monitor him. He figures that given that Endorsi should know about her position as a Jahad Princess, she won't overstep the boundary on this date to put them all in immediate great danger of the Jahad Empire. He leaves off saying that Endorsi should know that putting Bam in danger would be an unacceptable outcome.

Back to Viole and Endorsi, the former asks where they're going, which Endorsi reminds him that they're on a date where they're going to eat, shop, and watch a movie. Viole asks why she would want to date him, which an enraged Endorsi reminds him that it was because of the promise they made after passing the 2nd Floor together. Viole asks if that actually happened, which Endorsi answers that it did, and that he should be thankful that she remembered after seven years. Continuing to walk, Endorsi orders Viole to follow her, which he does. Meanwhile, Rak, Ehwa, and Prince continue to spy on them as Rak begs Bam from afar not to go.

Creation of the Nobic Support Team

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_13.jpg
Khun meets with Nobic and Ran to discuss the future

At a shopping distract cafe within Wolhaiksong's 30th Floor resort, Khun is seen reuniting with his remaining teammates from the Rachel team, Nobic and Ran. Nobic greets him in return, and asks how things are going with Viole, which Khun answers that the date with Endorsi is going well as long as she doesn't start venting her anger out at everything. Nobic admits to finding it amazing that Viole managed to pull off such a stunt with a Jahad Princess given the rules that a princess can't date, which Khun agrees that since it's Bam, he's not surprised by anything he does anymore. It would only truly surprise him if he manages to score Midori Jahad, the strongest known Jahad Princess currently within the Tower.

Nobic asks what Khun plans to do now since he's reunited with his old friend from the 2nd Floor, which Khun answers that teaming up with Bam again is a given, but is still sad about what happened to their team due to Apple and Michael's betrayal. Khun thinks back to the bunker where he and Wangnan's Sweet and Sour taem found a dead Gyetang, and Dan with his legs severely injured, which Nobic reassures him that what happened to Gyetang and Dan wasn't his fault. However, Khun states that it was, and tells Nobic and Khun that they can't end this betrayal like this. Khun asks Nobic and Ran for a favor to become a spare team of his, which surprises Nobic.

Khun names Nobic the leader of a new support team with Ran, Dan and Sia

Khun explains that from here on out, they're going to split up into two teams that will climb the Tower. One that consists of Nobic and Ran while Khun's team will have Bam. Khun adds that during the climb, their two teams can help one another with anything such as exchanging members and information. Khun states that Bam and him will be at the center of these two teams, but it will be Nobic that will be put in charge of one specific objective; to find Rachel and her comrades, and eliminate them.

Khun continues to explain that while he will be the overall leader, it will be Nobic that head the spare team. Nobic admits that this is a reasonable offer, but provides the bad news that he and Ran will be short several members. However, Khun reassures him that he's already found a couple Regulars with good skills as Dan and Sia are seen walking into the cafe. Dan greets his former teammates, which surprises Nobic.

Currently on their date, Endorsi and Viole are seen having their meal at a restaurant while Rak, Ehwa, and Prince continue to spy on them. Endorsi asks what Bam thought of the movie, which Viole answers that it was fun given that it was his first time, and was amazed at how big the movie screen was. Endorsi spots Rak, Ehwa, and Prince spying on him, and wonders if those three are going to follow them around this whole time.

    Date With Endorsi

Viole and Endorsi on their date

Endorsi realizes that it's three people she knows: Prince being the one that always bothers her, Ehwa being the one who always looks at her in an annoying way, and the traitor Rak crocodile. Endorsi then begins to wonder why she's currently doing all this.

Looking at Bam, Endorsi deduces that she decided to take him out on a date because it's been so long since she last saw him, but is confused as to what she wanted to do here. She thinks about the movie that wasn't that great to begin with, and wonders why she's even out on a date since she doesn't even know if she likes Bam or not. Endorsi questions if her actions have been too emotional, and admits that at the moment, she's not sure that she's thinking properly. Wanting to know what her feelings for Bam were seven years ago, Endorsi asks him about his experience in FUG given that he appears to be a lot stronger now. Viole answers that ever since he joined FUG, he trained to become a lot stronger, and has gained such a high control of shinsu to the point of making many Bangs.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_16.jpg
Endorsi remembering why she had originally fallen for Bam

Thinking about the similar plot the movie had, Endorsi asks if Bam was like the movie's main character, which Viole answers to be the case. Viole explains that his one thought in FUG was to protect the lives of his many precious friends as it's the only thing in the Tower that he holds dear to him. The thought of becoming the strongest brought him a bit of happiness, and at this point, he finally feels relieved thinking that all his FUG training was worth it since he got to meet Endorsi again like this.

Endorsi remains silent regarding Bam's answer, and thinks back to when Bam told her once back on the 2nd Floor that he's glad to see that Endorsi isn't lonely anymore. She then gives off a smile, and remembers the reason as to why she started liking Bam. Endorsi decides that the two of them should get out of here, but Viole informs her that he still hasn't finished his meal yet. Stating that he's eaten enough, Endorsi pushes him along to go somewhere private, which catches the attention of Rak, Ehwa, and Prince.

To get away from the three spying on them, Endorsi uses the Bong Bong fairy to teleport her and Viole to a different location at the resort. Viole begins to sweat having to endure Endorsi's poor driving using the Bong Bong, which Endorsi asks for Bam to stop acting like that given that it's making her embarrassed.

Endorsi gives Bam an unforgettable memory by kissing his cheek

Viole asks about the shopping portion of their date, which Endorsi states that they will do that after getting some fresh air, which Viole agrees with. Getting to the main subject, Endorsi asks what Bam plans to do from now on, which confuses Viole. Endorsi points out that the Workshop Battle is finally over, and he managed to break away from FUG. She asks if Bam next plans to go searching for Rachel, which leaves Viole silent.

Seeing the determined expression on Bam's face, Endorsi admits to herself that he's a bit jealous. She states to Viole that the only answer is to provide him with an unforgettable memory of her own, which confuses Viole. Walking up towards Viole, Endorsi gives Bam a kiss on the cheek, and begins to walk away. Viole asks what she just did, to which Endorsi answers that it was just a service for Bam not to forget about it until they meet again. She then states that it's time for them to go shopping as Viole hurries after her. Meanwhile, Rak, Ehwa, and Prince are seen struggling to find where Viole and Endorsi went.

    Rachel's Team Gathers

At an abandoned castle somewhere on the 30th Floor, Traveller is seen running closely behind Cassano begging for the Devil of the Right Arm to tell him where they're going. Traveller continues to ask questions such as who they're meeting, what he's planning to do with Emily, as well as his overall intentions, but Cassano ignores it, and simply states that they're here.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_18.jpg
Rachel greets Cassano upon his return with Emily in his possession

Cassano opens a wood door of the castle as he and Traveller enter into a room where they're greeted by four cloaked people. The shortest of the four hooded people drops her hood, and welcomes Cassano and Traveller to the team; revealing herself to be Rachel.

Seeing Cassano return to her, Rachel states that she was beginning to get worried that something may have happened to him aboard the Archimedes. However, Cassano reassures her that nothing terrible happened other than being unable to convince one of his comrades to join their cause. Traveller continues to walk towards the group, and thinks to himself that something about this seems fishy and dangerous. He tries to get Cassano's attention, but is interrupted by Michael taking off his hood, who asks if the Devil of the Right Arm brought the item with him. Cassano answers that he did as Michael orders him to see it for confirmation. The Devil of the Right Arm pulls out a flask containing Emily, which grabs the attention of everyone in the room. Rachel gives off a smile, and congratulates Cassano for a job well done. She then states that it's about time for them all to get going to complete their goal of saving the destiny of the Tower.

    Horyang's Coma

Three days later at the Wolhaiksong resort, the members of Sweet and Sour and Shibisu's team are seen having a meal together. Since they're both from the same Blitz family, Quaetro is seen speaking with Quant about how great it is to meet a famous Ranker, which Quant shyly accepts.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_19.jpg
Viole, Khun, and Rak watching over the group's last moments together

Meanwhile everyone else is seen getting drunk, and trying to enjoy their last moments together. The Viole, Khun, and Rak team are seen watching all their companions from afar, which Khun states that it's surprising how well they're getting along with one another given that it's only been three days.

Seeing everyone having fun, Khun is left disappointed that everyone is splitting up the next day, which Viole agrees with. Khun asks Bam if he's going to be ok leaving behind the Sweet and Sour and Shibisu teams, but Viole answers that while it's a bit sad, he knows that they can reunite against after they've become D-rank Regulars. Viole adds that it's better to meet them again to witness how much stronger they've become while he wasn't watching, which Rak agrees with, but also adds that they should switch the blue turtle in their team for another blue turtle.

Khun and Rak begin to bicker with one another about who was more useful to Bam in the Workshop Battle, but Viole just stands by and watches them. Remembering that they're at a resort run by Wolhaiksong, Viole asks if Khun knows when Urek Mazino is supposed to be stopping by, but Khun gives him the bad news that he's not coming anymore. He explains that Ranker Hachuling told him of how Urek had gotten into trouble somewhere in the Tower, and will be able to meet him at a later time. However, Khun points out that Hachuling's information isn't exactly the most reliable to depend on.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_20.jpg
Shibisu having handed Yuri's Wolhaiksong symbol over to Bam

Thinking about Urek, Khun is left disappointed that they won't be getting the chance to meet him just yet. Viole asks if the man is truly that amazing, which Khun explains that he's such a beast that even his father, the head of the Great Khun Family, admitted that his strength was legit. Khun adds that they're probably better off not actually meeting the Irregular known as Urek Mazino, but remembers that Shibisu had finally given Bam the Wolhaiksong symbol that Yuri passed on to Shibisu all the way back on the 2nd Floor.

Knowing that Bam accepted the Wolhaiksong symbol, Khun asks why the latter wants to see Urek again. Viole answers that it's because he wants to hear more stories from the powerful Irregular about the world outside the Tower.

At this point Goseng greets the Viole, Khun and Rak team. They ask what's wrong, which Goseng answers that there's something they need to know. Moments later, the Viole, Khun and Rak team are brought to the room that Horyang is resting in. Goseng, Wangnan, and researcher Sophia are in the room as well, which Sophia explain to Viole and company that Horyang has been unconscious like this ever since the end of the Workshop Battle.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_21.jpg
Horyang having been put into a coma due to Cassano taking away his devil

Sophia also informs them that he's remained unconscious despite there being nothing wrong with his body. Viole remains shocked in confusion, and asks Sophia how Horyang's remained asleep for days despite there being nothing wrong with him, which Sophia explains that it's because the devil that became a part of Ilmar is gone from his body, and the result of the devil being taken out has put their friend in a coma.

Hearing that Horyang's devil is gone surprises Viole and company, Sophia comes to the conclusion that the most likely cause was Cassano taking away Ilmar's devil half, which they ask if this means that Cassano has powered himself up to now having two devils within him. However, it's Beta, who's been watching everyone from afar, that provides the answer for Sophia. That it's not that Cassano gained two different devils, but instead just became a perfect devil given that Cassano and Horyang had both halves of a same devil.

Everyone is shocked to see Beta in the room as the latter explains that Cassano is turning out to be mcuh different compared to the other unstable Living Ignition Weapons after becoming a perfect devil by uniting his and Horyang's devil halves into one body. Beta figures that Cassano's union power-up might make him stronger than him, or even Viole, and questions where it was that Cassano would have learned such a skill to absorb a devil out of the body of someone else. He deduces that whatever developed the skill to absorb devils is on a greater level than what Workshop did creating Beta into what he is.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_22_5.jpg
Beta concludes that Cassano must have taken Emily for some purpose

Knowing that Prince looks up greatly to Horyang, Viole asks if anyone else knows about what happened to Ilmar, which Wangnan answers that the group here is the only ones who knows about this since he didn't want to provide any more trouble to the rest of Sweet and Sour. Wangnan states that for now, they've just told the rest of the team that Horyang needs some rest, and will be staying on the 30th Floor. He also points out that the main problem here isn't Horyang, but Cassano, who took the devil away. He informs the group that they're only chance of saving Horyang is to chase after Cassano, which they deduce that the best way to search for him is to use Emily. However, Beta steps forward to show them that the Emily terminal has been down ever since the Workshop Battle came to an end. On the terminal, they all see the call cannot be connected message.

Beta explains that he believes that Cassano also has something to do with Emily not working anymore, which shocks everyone. He points out to Viole and company that FUG had control over Emily during the Workshop Battle in order to use Emily for something, and that the most likely conclusion was that Cassano must have made some sort of deal to have the control of Emily handed over to him. The group asks what Cassano would gain having control over a chatting program, which Sophia explains that Emily is not a simple AI program, but a Living Ignition Weapon.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_23.jpg
Sophia warns the group that Emily is a dangerous Living Ignition Weapon

The revelation shocks everyone as Sophia explains that the people working on the Archimedes, including herself, had sealed Emily within the ship to make her believe that she was human. However, now that that protection is gone since she was most likely taken away by Cassano, she begins to fear what will happen when Emily ignites into a powerful weapon. She warns the group in the room that something bad is definitely going to happen if they don't stop Cassano from igniting Emily.

Exiting Horyang's room, Khun asks how long Ilmar can last in his coma, which Wangnan answers that it doesn't appear to be life-threatening, but could last for a very long time. Now that Emily is no longer in the picture, they question how they will start searching for Cassano, which Viole asks if they can rely on her for help. Khun remains confused as to what Bam is referring to, which he answers that he's referring to the girl he saved with the White Heavenly Mirror, Hwaryun. Despite not liking where this is going, Khun agrees that they don't exactly have any other choice but to rely on her for help. Some time later, Viole, Khun, Rak, and Wangnan arrive at Hwaryun's room where they've been keeping her prisoner due to her connections to FUG.

    The Path to Cassano

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_24.jpg
Viole and company approach Hwaryun to show them the path to Cassano

Hwaryun finds it amusing that they're all gathered before her, and states that it reeks of men, but Viole gets to the point, and asks her for a favor. Hwaryun replies that she already knows why they're all here given that the only use she has for them is to show them the path as a guide Regular. She gives them the bad news stating that she has no reason to help them given that they've locked her up despite helping them make it through the Workshop Battle. However, Khun replies that this is the point where they would make a deal.

Khun explains that they're going after the Devil of the Right Arm known as Beniamino Cassano, and will grant Hwaryun the freedom to join them on their trip if she shows them the path to Cassano. However, he calls out Hwaryun on the belief that given her guide role, she already knew from the beginning that this deal was already going to play out this way, which leaves Hwaryun silent. Giving off a brief smirk, Hwaryun answers that she will gladly tell them the path that will lead them to Cassano. Hwaryun begins to explain that on the 35th Floor of the Tower, there's a special test that will be taken for D-rank Regulars that manage to get on the Hell Train.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_25.jpg
Hwaryun informs them of the D-rank area's Hell Train to reach Cassano

Wangnan asks what she means by the Hell train, which Hwaryun continues to explain that it's an express that allows people to jump from the 35th Floor all the way up to the Tower's 43rd Floor. She warns the group that it's almost impossible to stay alive on the train the whole way due to the intense journey, but those who do can enter the Hidden 43rd Floor. She states that if they decide to board the Hell Train, they will be sure to encounter Beniamino Cassano there.

Hearing that the express is on the 35th Floor, Wangnan asks Khun what he makes of this path, to which Khun answers that it's the only lead they got, and should think about passing the Floor tests to get there as soon as possible. Khun deduces that they could probably reach the next train departure in about one-and-a-half years, which means that the only thing left to worry about will be if Horyang can last in his coma for that long. Khun's answer begins to get Wangnan excited as he announces that they will be sure to catch Cassano aboard the Hell Train. Wangnan gives his thanks to Hwaryun as he, Khun, and Rak begin to leave the room. However, Hwaryun says to Viole that he looks a lot more content with himself these days, which is exactly what his FUG teacher, Jinsung, wanted for him.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_26.jpg
Hwaryun asks for Viole to continue getting stronger to protect what he now has

Hwaryun warns Viole that if he wants to preserve his current happiness, he should do whatever he can to get stronger as he will face a great danger at some point in the future. She informs Viole that the way he is currently is not going to allow him to survive. Viole begins to get determined as Hwaryun continues to state that he's someone that needs to be strong to protect those he cares about, and claims that one day, he will return to FUG to get back at the higher-ups who had been holding his friends as hostages up until this point. She leaves off hoping that Viole will continue to get stronger.

Some time later, Team Shibisu get ready for their departure entering a transport vehicle that will take them to the 30th Floor test to become D-rank Regulars from the 31st Floor and onward. Viole and company arrive to greet them at the transport before they leave as Hatz asks for Bam to keep in touch, and will be sure to visit him once in a while after they've become D-rankers. Viole accepts Hatz's claim as an annoyed Khun orders him to get lost already.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc39_27.jpg
Bam with his hair cut back to its original length watches Team Shibisu depart

They order for Viole and company to hurry up and become D-rankers to catch up to them, which they agree to do. Endorsi tries to sneak away onto the ship since she's too embarrassed to even look in Bam's direction at the moment. Meanwhile, Verdi is seen given her goodbye to her dolls, Miseng and Prince while Vespa pulls Shibisu along despite the latter not wanting to go. Hwaryun continues to sit by hearing the Viole and Shibisu groups giving their last goodbyes as she looks at a news report regarding the E-rank Workshop Battle. Seeing the message on it that no one gives a damn about an E-rank tournament, Hwaryun deduces that everything's already been taken care of to hide everything regarding what FUG attempted to pull here. Hwaryun thinks over the results of the Workshop Battle, and concludes that a new story is about to begin.

Thinking about the oddity of the Tower that is Rachel, Hwaryun deduces that she's someone that cannot be guided or controlled just like Viole who is also an existence that is different from everyone else within the Tower. Two Irregulars that don't follow the Tower rules that have the destiny of being able to change the Tower. Thinking that a meeting between Viole and Rachel will definitely occur again aboard the Hell Train, Hwaryun wonders what exactly it will be that Bam will choose to do.

Watching Team Shibisu's transport ship leave for the 30th Floor test, Viole is seen with his long hair finally cut off; showing that he's officially taken his role as Twenty-Fifth Bam again.
