The girls and Jared are playing a fantasy board game, Phantasm Chasm, which Buttercup pooh-poohs as being for dorks. After Buttercup zaps the board, she, her sisters and Jared are sucked into the board game's virtual realm where koala bats capture Blossom and Bubbles and take them to a castle. Jared and Buttercup have to team up and face the game's challenges to rescue them.
This episode contains example of:
- Balloon Belly: Blossom and Bubbles. The koala bats take them to a room of the castle where they gorge on treats. But it's part of the game that if not beaten will keep them there forever. When they return home, Buttercup and Jared are on for pizza.Blossom: (with Bubbles) Um....we'll just go for a salad.
- Kick the Dog: Buttercup does this continually to Jared and his game to the point she hurts his feelings, up until Jared rescues her from being imprisoned within a castle door.
- No Indoor Voice: Buttercup, when Jared starts playing his flute.Buttercup: SHUT IT, SHAPIRO!!!
- Punctuated! For! Emphasis!: While Jared explains the basis of his game, he comes to a peril with a conundrum.Jared: What do you do? I repeat. What. Do. You. Do?
- Trapped in Another World: Jared and the girls land in Phantasm Chasm itself when Buttercup destroys the Phantasm crystal on the game board.
