In this premiere episode of the 2016 Powerpuff Girls, Bubbles wins some concert tickets to the girls favorite boy band, The Sensitive Thugz, but finds out that she'll only get two, meaning she can only take one of her sisters. Before she can decide, the girls get a distress call from the Mayor who's plane has crash landed on Monster Island. The girls head there to go rescue him, but the mission is stymied by Blossom and Buttercup trying to convince Bubbles to take one of them to her to the concert.

- Brick Joke: Bubbles tells the girls the only one who she can really count on is Fredrick. At the end of the episode, we see that she took him to the concert, to the dismay of Blossom and Buttercup.
- Fluffy Tamer: The mayor manages to placate the monster with his pickles. (Un?)fortunately, he finds the girls when he's on his last one.
- Just One Extra Ticket: The dilemma of this episode. Bubbles only has two concert tickets, and she has to pick who to take along.
- Ridiculously Cute Critter: Fredrick, a rhino looking monster the girls meet when they arrive on the island.
- Running Gag: The girls keep seeing images of the Sensitive Thugz who sometime offer advice to them.
- Skewed Priorities: Blossom after Bubbles breaks her from the jinx, focusing on outing Buttercup from keeping her from talking, rather then the threat of the exploding volcano.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Bubbles to Blossom and Buttercup on letting their bickering keep them from focusing on the mission.
