- Call-Back: In the intro, The Critic mentioned that Little Nemo was animated by TMS, who worked on Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, and Batman: The Animated Series. At this, Douchy McNitpick popped up and said, "But in your Animaniacs Tribute, you said it was Akom!" Critic pounded Douchy down while saying, "And I was wrong!"
- Running Gagged: The Critic mocks the crew's decision to let Nemo pilot the blimp by editing in the footage of the Hindenburg disaster as if Nemo had caused it in his carelessness. He immediately follows this with a disclaimer acknowledging his over-use of the gag and forewarned that it would be the last time the Hindenburg gag would occur.
- Take That!: Criticizing the opening scene, Critic argues that the idea of people having dreams is as easy to understand as knowing that Bill Maher is snobby.
