Michelangelo is looking after his little pigeon friend at the Zoo and his brothers are kidnapped by yet another mad scientist.
Tropes:
- Badass in Distress: Leonardo, Raphael and Donatello are kidnapped and Splinter sends Michelangelo alone to rescue them. Not having been in this situation before, Michelangelo is understandably worried, but not perturbed.
- The Dog Bites Back: When the turtles free Lesseau's mutants, the first thing they do is gun for his head.
- Evil Is Petty: Dr. Lesseau wants to conquer the world with an army of mutants after losing his job as director of the City Zoo.
- Evilutionary Biologist: Dr. Lesseau aspires to create the ultimate animal by kidnapping zoo animals and mutating them.
- Expy: Dr. Lesseau is an obvious riff on the titular doctor from The Island of Doctor Moreau, being an Evilutionary Biologist creating Animalistic Abominations.
- Speaks Fluent Animal: Michelangelo apparently speaks pigeon.
