Season 2, Episode 3 of Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM). When Sonic loses his memory, Snively takes advantage and gets the hedgehog to infiltrate Knothole.

This episode provides examples of:

  • Amnesia Danger: Sonic loses his memory and is manipulated by Snively into revealing Knothole's location. It takes a Power Ring to bring him back to normal.
  • Amnesia Episode:
  • Any Last Words?: Robotnik says this to Snively, threatening to turn him into a paperweight until Snively said that he found Knothole, only leading him to the Great Swamp since the Freedom Fighters tampered with the ship's tracking program.
  • Big "SHUT UP!": Antoine is on the receiving end of two - one from Dulcy ("CAN IT, ANTOINE") and one from the rest of the Freedom Fighters.
  • Big Sister Instinct: After Sally tells the others about Sonic being brainwashed, Bunnie notices that Tails is missing. When Dulcy says that he's on lookout duty, Sally's instinct is to immediately head off and warn him.
  • Bolivian Army Ending: Another one for Snively, if a more comedic varient than Sonic Racer. Snively has promised Robotnik Knothole's location, only he can't find it, with Robotnik getting increasingly irritated by the swamp pesticide.
  • Criminal Amnesiac: Snively takes advantage of an amnesiac Sonic to try and find Knothole. He nearly succeeds.
  • Easy Amnesia: Sonic gets hit by a laser which makes him lose his memory.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Even Snively finds Antoine's cowardly grovelling loathsome.
  • Implied Death Threat: Robotnik threatens to turn Snively into the paperweight he always wanted.
  • Laser-Guided Amnesia: Snively plans to use a mind scrambler on Sonic and his friends. In the end, he gets a taste of his own medicine.
  • Lightbulb Joke: As told by Snively: How many worker-bots does it take to change a lightbulb? All of them! This is apparently uproariously funny.
  • Mind-Control Eyes: Sonic spends most of the episode with deep purple eyes, signifying his scrambled memories.
  • Out-of-Character Alert: Tails gets suspicious when the brainwashed Sonic falls over during a run, and goes to take a nap, both of which Sonic never does.
  • Smooch of Victory: Sally kisses Tails on the cheek after he retrieves a Power Ring. He reacts in a "Mom, you're embarrassing me" manner.
