The Sliders discover they are the subjects of Slidology, a religion founded by a man with psychic powers who has seen their adventures in his mind.

Tropes present in the episode:

  • Back for the Finale: Mrs. Mallory, the original Quinn's mother.
  • Bad "Bad Acting": Diana's double on The Sliders.
  • Big "NO!": Maggie cries and screams "No!" after Remmy jumps into the unstable vortex at the end of the episode.
  • Break the Cutie: According to Claire, Mrs. Mallory was traumatized by her time in Kromagg captivity and what became of Quinn.
  • Character Check: Maggie gets a moment where she reverts to her original unsympathetic self in the scene where she makes her double cry.
  • Cliffhanger: The series ends on one. Did Remmy make it through the portal, and did he manage to deal with the Kromaggs on Earth Prime?
    • Sequel Hook: As intended by the producers, who were hoping to get the show renewed. Unfortunately, it wasn't.
    • And the Adventure Continues: As intended by Cleavant Derricks, who felt that the adventure should never end.
  • Continuity Nod: In the trivia game, one of the questions is who Rembrandt's former best friend in the Spinning Topps was. He answers that it was Maurice Fish.
  • Dénouement Episode: After spending the entire season chasing Dr. Geiger in hopes of separating Quinn and Mallory, the Sliders deal with the Kromaggs one last time.
  • Determinator: When Rembrandt said the group is still going to try to make it back to Earth Prime no matter what, Vernon tells Lisa to pay up and says the Sliders never give up.
  • Irony: Mallory lampshades how the group is intending to run away from a world that actively adores them.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: Mallory never encountered a double of himself, so Robert Floyd only played this one version. When told there is no double on this world, Mallory remarks he's "one of a kind."
  • Parental Substitute: According to Mallory, Quinn never let the truth about his origin distract from the fact that Mrs. Mallory raised him like her own and considered her more of a mother to him than anyone else ever could be.
  • Psychic Powers: Marc LeBeau has the power to see the Sliders' adventures.
  • Self-Deprecation: Claire derides the writers of The Sliders as hacks who will do anything for a buck.
  • Show Within a Show: The Sliders is the most popular show on the Seer's world.
  • Typhoid Mary: Name-dropped by Rembrandt after he injects himself with the anti-Kromagg virus.
Rembrandt: Just call me Typhoid Remmy.
  • "What Now?" Ending: How the episode (and the show) ends.
