The teams race to France for the next leg of the race. To progress onwards, they have to draw caricatures, make their way through the catacombs, and race to the Louvre on floating wheels of cheese.

- Continuity Nod: Owen eats the cheese needed for the challenge, requring Noah to ride him. In World Tour, Noah and his team had to ride Owen because he ate the stuff for the sausage challenge in Germany. While Chris was willing to allow it, Don punished Owen and Noah for eating the cheese.
- Cutaway Gag: Gerry and Pete are annoyed at the Vegans outpacing them, because “they eat birdseed and dust”. We then see a confessional where Miles eats birdseed, with Laurie offering her dust.
- Follow Your Nose: Both Owen and MacArthur put their noses to use in sniffing out the cheese wheels through the catacombs.
- Loophole Abuse: Owen and Noah try to race to the Louvre after Owen eats their wheel, claiming that they technically did take the cheese there: it's just inside Owen. Don doesn't buy it.
- No Celebrities Were Harmed: The judge for the art challenge is one to Vincent van Gogh.
- Oh, Crap!: Noah when Owen starts eating the cheese they were supposed to use as a raft.
- Plot Hole: Rock hands the local a picture of himself, despite the challenge specifying that they were supposed to draw a picture of their partner and Spud was supposed to do the Botch or Watch in this episode. Likewise, Jay shows the judge a caricature of Mickey, even though Mickey was supposed to draw Jay, with his Absurd Phobia of pencils as a plot point.

- Taylor's drawing of Kelly resembles the Bride of Frankenstein.
- Jacques' story of once skating dressed as a St. Bernard to make the rabies foam coming from his mouth make sense is a reference to Cujo.
- Don calls the Reality TV Pros, "Noah and his Ark", a reference to story from The Bible.
- Writers Cannot Do Math: Don says that the last four teams are racing during the Reality TV Pros' penalty, when there are in fact six teams still racing.
