Mordecai and Rigby require the help of the Death Kwon Do Sensei when Benson eats the Death Sandwich the wrong way.

- Hoist by His Own Petard: The Grandmaster's final attack involves the Double Death Sandwich. It's launched back at him by Mordecai and Rigby into his mouth, killing him.

- Read the Fine Print: Before Death Sensei allows Mordecai and Rigby to buy a Death Sandwich, he makes them sign a waiver that says "You can't sue me."
- Satiating Sandwich: The titular Death Sandwich, despite being fatal to anyone not wearing cut-off jean shorts and a mullet, is said to be the most delicious sandwich in the world. As well as the Sandwich of Life, which is the cure to the Death Sandwich's effects.
- Storming the Castle: Mordecai, Rigby, Benson and Death Sensei attack the Death Kwon Do mountain dojo to recover the antidote to the Death Sandwich: the Sandwich of Life.
- The Unintelligible: One of the last symptoms of dying from the Death Sandwich is crying out in pain, but in ancient dialects long forgotten. The only person who knows what Benson is saying at that point is the Grandmaster.
