  • Dumbass Has a Point: When Mordecai and Rigby are in the woods looking for Skips, they hear a strange noise (which turns out to be Skips' birthday ritual). Mordecai decides to check it out; Rigby then points out that normally, if you hear a strange noise in the woods, you don't check it out.

  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Rigby's "birthday present" to Skips is just a cracked plate he found in the garbage that he redrew with a marker.
  • Skewed Priorities: Rigby is more upset about GIVING UP THEIR CHOCOLATE CAKE than having Skips die! Mordecai harshly calls him out over this.
Mordecai: Dude, do you want Skips to die on his birthday?
