Diabolico makes one last stand against the Rangers with the remains of the monsters he created. Meanwhile, Ryan goes off to free himself of the cursed tattoo.

- Avenging the Villain: As he dies, Diabolico declares Queen Bansheera will avenge him. When she meets the Rangers in person, she makes it clear that's not happening.Bansheera: Diabolico proved himself unworthy of me.
- Vypra and Lokai on the other hand are upset over Diabolico's destruction:
- Big Damn Heroes: Ryan shows up in the Max Solarzord, allowing the team to form the Lightspeed Solarzord.
- Call-Back: Ryan finds the Cobra Demon hanging out in the tomb the demons were released from.
- Cliffhanger: The episode ends with Impus in his cocoon form descending on Mariner Bay and about to begin his attack.
- Don't Celebrate Just Yet: Quite a literal version. Following Diabolico's defeat, everyone believed that the battle with the demons was over. Unfortunately, it is then that they get an alert, leading them to finally meet Queen Bansheera, the true leader of the demons.
- The Dreaded: Once Queen Bansheera makes herself know to the Rangers, Ryan tells the others she is worse than ten Diabolicos.
- Easily-Overheard Conversation: Ryan hears a Lightspeed tech talking about something out in the desert, which inspires him to find the demon's tomb.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Diabolico shoots off a blast of his Star Power at the Rangers, and the Solarzord, which completely absorbs all of it, and then sends it right back to sender.
- No-Sell: Nothing, nothing the Rangers have actually hurts Diabolico. He's not done in until they throw his own magic back at him. Up until then, all they do is annoy him a little.
- Orcus on His Throne: After the Troika Monster is destroyed, Diabolico gets off it. The result is a several minute long comprehensive beat-down for the Rangers, until Ryan joins in.
- Poor Communication Kills: Apparently Ryan never bothered telling the other Rangers about Bansheera, so when Diabolico dies, everyone throws a party, which is interrupted when Bansheera sends Impus down to say "hi". In fairness, he had a busy couple of days, but still...
- Tempting Fate: Captain Mitchell can't even get through saying Mariner Bay is safe before the alarm goes off.Carter: That's a drill, right?Captain Mitchell: We don't have drills!
- Torso with a View: During their fight, Diabolico blasts a hole through the Supertrain Megazord.
- Wham Episode: Ryan gets rid of the Cobra Curse. A new Megazord configuration is unveiled. Diabolico dies, and Impus gets his Star Power.
