Elsa uses a TV star from Kira's internship to turn into a monster while Trent and Zeltrax fight to be second-in-command.

- Caught on Tape: Kira morphs in the TV set to fight Elsa and her Tyrannodrones, unaware that she was filmed by a nearby security camera. Cassidy later realized that the cameras must have filmed the Yellow Ranger morphing and asked Devin to show her the tapes, however he accidentally drops them in fruit punch before they could discover Kira's identity.
- Deadpan Snarker: When Elsa announces her plan to use Marty the Mackerel to create a monster, Trent replies:
- "That may be the dumbest idea you've had yet".
- Depraved Kids' Show Host: The Funky Fisherman is a G-rated version, as he's more cranky than anything else.
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Zeltrax and Trent. Trent still didn't forget that Zeltrax double-crossed him to Mesogog.
