K.O. meets Dendy - a girl that sits behind him in school - who asks for his help in retrieving items for her backpack. Unbeknownst to him, Dendy is really testing K.O. and his capabilities of being a hero.

- Alternate Character Interpretation: In-universe, Dendy's file on K.O. has a section about how K.O.'s knack for throwing himself into dangerous situations stems from wanting to prove himself as worthy of love to others or himself.
- An Arm and a Leg: Dendy nonchalantly rips Mr. Logic's family hair clipper from his arm and destroys it to get one of her needed components. She then repairs it for better performance and reattaches it to his arm.
- Art Shift: K.O. and Dendy get Animesque faces when they are shown their new haircuts.
- Bishie Sparkle:
- K.O. performs a Transformation Sequence hovering over the air with a magical pink background, activated by hearing Dendy's heroic plea "I need your help".
- K.O. and Dendy become enveloped in a pink overlay of sparkles as they direct their focus onto Mr. Logic's palm mirrors.
- Early-Bird Cameo: Professor Venomous is on one of the POW cards K.O. shows off to Dendy.
- For Science!: Dendy left K.O. to find his own way out from the trash bot fish's grip throughout the night, all to observe his reaction.
- Mythology Gag: On his way to work, K.O. sings a parody of the theme song to the pilot episode Lakewood Plaza Turbo.
- Secret Test of Character: Dendy never needed to fix her backpack. She just wanted to test K.O. to collect information on him.
- Wallet Moths: Parodied when K.O. reaches into his pocket to pull out a coin for a vending machine, only for the pocket to be empty. Two moths fly out and K.O. exclaims "Nooo! My moth collection!". After a cut to Dendy, he succeeds in recapturing one of those little scampering bugs.
- What Measure Is a Non-Human?: Dendy seemed eager to rip Mr. Logic open for his glorb power core (which she didn't even really need) until she sees K.O. shocked by the suggestion of it.
