Kyoko, Mitari, and Kizakura investigate the killer's latest victim, and make a surprising discovery. Makoto, Asahina, and Gekkogahara find a loophole in Monokuma's rules and plan an escape.
- The Bus Came Back: Byakuya, Toko, Komaru, and Hajime (or maybe not) all appear in the last few minutes.
- The Chessmaster: Byakuya reveals to his subordinates that he knows the Gekkogahara involved with the Final Killing Game is a robotic avatar of Monaka Towa, and sends in Komaru and Toko to deal with her. He also knows the real Gekkogahara was Dead All Along, but chose not to reveal this to Makoto and Asahina because it might make Monaka do something drastic and put their lives at stake.
- Dead All Along: The real Gekkogahara was killed via Neck Snap several days before the game began.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Hajime's single red eye staring at the fleet of ships approaching Jabberwock Island.
- Wham Episode: Byakuya, Toko and Komaru return. A Future Foundation attack force is inbound to Jabberwock Island, where Hajime is waiting for them.
- Wham Line:Hajime: This is so boring.
- Wham Shot: The final shot shows Hajime opening a glowing red eye, revealing that he may have reverted back to Izuru Kamakura.
