Frank Black travels to Utah to construct a profile on a convicted murderer who is asking for the death sentence. Reconstructing the crime, Black begins to doubt the man's guilt.

  • Driven to Suicide: William Garry murdered his family, and wants to be executed for his sins. But Frank, who believes his innocence, tells him he'll be committing suicide, which is a sin. It's revealed that his wife murdered their children, and then kills herself. She tells William that it's his fault this happened.
