A spy in their midst
During employee evaluations at Mordhaus, General Crozier sends a spy in to try to kill Dethklok.

Tropes

  • Artistic License – Economics: Stampington announces Dethklok is the 12th Largest Economy in the World.
  • Bad Bosses: Dethklok has no actual idea how to work with their employees, let alone speak with them five on one. They ignored the blatant deaths of two of their Klokateers and got excited when Agent 216 starts a fight with the Winner of the Raffle. At the end of the episode they, by complete coincidence, blame the would-be Assassin hidden among the ranks for the embezzlement having found out it was themselves in the first place.
  • Captain Obvious: Offdensen has to spell out to the boys that embezzling from themselves isn't a good thing.
Nathan: Well, that's, you know. That's bad, huh?
    Offdensen: Yes it is Nathan.
  • Chekhov's Gun: Murderface's Diamond Encrusted Codpiece saves their lives twice, once when Mudrerface gets up from their table, destroying the table and interrupting The Assassin's shot and again at the end when the commotion sends the Assassin flying right into Murderface's crotch, killing him instantly.
  • Fall Guy: During the funeral for their would-be assassin they decide to blame him for the Embezzlement after finding out they were the one's taking money from their own company, Charles makes no objections.
  • Foreshadowing: The episode starts with them finding out from Charles that someone's been stealing from the company, right after they got done shopping, with all the money they already make you'd think nothing of this shopping spree for them, which is what makes this all the more ridiculous when the truth comes out.
  • Informed Ability: Agent 216 is stated to be a Professional Killer but he is thwarted at every attempt to kill Dethklok and is ultimately killed in a brawlout with a Klokateer intercepting his attempt to rush them during the raffle. Shoved headfirst into Murderface's Codpiece, which was ironically the raffle prize.
  • Spanner in the Works: It's not Dethklok themselves but their Arbitrary Employee evaluation and Raffle that foils the Assassin. They were never even aware of any of the attempts on their lives because they were too caught up in the events.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Dethklok in general, they were at the Assassin's mercy completely at one point and it's only the chance announcement of the Motivational Speaker that stops him from getting a shot on Nathan.
  • Tomato in the Mirror: While they didn't do much hunting for the the supposed embezzler they discover at the end it was them.
  • Why Don't You Just Shoot Them?: When Crozier forces Agent 216's hand at the end and has him open fire on Dethklok while they're doing the ticket raffle, this has disastrous results.
