    Season 1 
  1. Pilot Movie: "A New Beginning": Lieutenant Harmon Rabb (David James Elliott) and Lieutenant Junior Grade Caitlin Pike (Andrea Parker) are summoned from Judge Advocate General Headquarters on Bastille Day to report to the USS Seahawk carrier in the Adriatic Sea to investigate the disappearance and murder of the first female Radar Intercept Officer to ever see air-to-air combat, and take a knife to a world of military chauvinism.
  2. "Shadow" Rabb and Lt. j.g. Austin (Tracey Needham) race to prevent a disgruntled civilian contractor from firing a new torpedo at civilians.
  3. "Desert Son" Rabb and Austin investigate the son of the former Marine Corps commandant, whose negligence allegedly led to the death of some Marines.
  4. "Déjà Vu" Rabb and Austin investigate a serial killer targeting naval officers.
  5. "Pilot Error" An aviator's death is blamed on pilot error, but Rabb believes the avionics are faulty.
  6. "War Cries" Rabb and Austin investigate the death of a young boy at the American embassy in Peru.
  7. "Brig Break" Rabb and Austin investigate a brig break at Sea-Tac.
  8. "Scimitar" Rabb and Austin work to bring home a Marine accused of crossing from Kuwait into Iraq, with help from an Iraqi double agent code-named "Scimitar."
  9. "Boot" Rabb and Austin investigate the death of a young woman at Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot (boot camp).
  10. "Sightings" Rabb and Austin investigate an UFO at a shuttered naval base.
  11. "The Brotherhood" Rabb and Austin investigate a Marine's connection to local gangs.
  12. "Defensive Action" Rabb and Austin defend an air group commander accused of firing at allies.
  13. "Smoked" Rabb and Austin investigate an aviator's crash landing in Cuba.
  14. "Hemlock" Austin is targeted by an international assassin.
  15. "High Ground" Rabb and Austin investigate a Marine sniper who allegedly attempted to murder a colonel.
  16. "Black Ops" Rabb and Austin investigate the death of an aviator on a secret mission with Navy SEALs.
  17. "Survivors" Rabb and Austin investigate a Marine colonel who believes his son is the reincarnation of a Vietnam War comrade.
  18. "Recovery" Rabb and Austin investigate the sabotage of an American satellite in orbit.
  19. "The Prisoner" Rabb is interrogated by the Chinese on American strategy in the region.
  20. "Ares" A new Navy computer system aboard an American ship malfunctions dangerously close to North Korea.
  21. "Skeleton Crew" Rabb and Austin investigate the death of a naval officer on liberty.

  5. "Crossing the Line" A female aviator complains she is sexually harrassed by the orders of the CAG on the USS Seahawk, Captain Tom Boone. Harm and Mac investigate, with Harm defending the CAG, his father's old wingman and Mac supporting the female aviator, who is also backed by a controversial female Congresswoman. The Congresswoman demands the CAG and the aviator Issacs to fly in mock combat but as the aviator attempts to land, she crashes. Harm heroically rescues the RIO, Lieutenant Elizabeth Hawkes, callsign 'Skates.' Meanwhile, Bud meets his future wife, Harriet onboard the Seahawk.

  17. "Nobody's Child" The heartless and brutal murder of a little girl sends Harm down the warpath to find the killer responsible for such a heinous thing, but his obsession with solving the case upsets his colleagues.

  19. 'The Adversaries'
  20. "Second Sight" Mac learns her alcoholic father is on death's door, but her grudge toward him from his abuse toward her and her mother gives her plenty of reason not to forgive him or seek closure. Mac struggles with heartache when she must admit that time is not on her side; her father is going to pass away with or without her, and what she does next could hurt her worse than the pain she experienced in the past. In the meantime, Harm discovers that he was misdiagnosed with night blindness and a laser eye surgery operation could fix his nighttime vision problems.

  23. 'Yeah Baby' Harriet goes into labor in the middle of a trial as Harm adjusts from his recent surgery.
  24. "Goodbyes" Harm considers returning to his dream job as a pilot now that he can see in the dark again, but wonders if this is truly the right thing to do. Before he can decide what comes next, one last case stands in the way. The deranged murdering father Charlie has finally surfaced and is out to find his surviving daughter. Harm's dream of return to naval aviation is further convinced as the RIO Skates from 'Crossing the Line' appears and hands him F-14 manuals.

    Season 5 
  1. "King of the Greenie Board" Having resumed his old career as a naval aviator with Skates as his RIO on the USS Patrick Henry, Harm is now a junior to a new generation of young pilots. Unfortunately, a horrific international incident occurs when an arrogant young aviator "X-Man" bombs innocent civilians by accident.
  2. "Rules of Engagement" Harm suddenly discovers that he still has merit as a Judge Avocate General when he's forced to come to the aid of the young pilot in hot water with the Russians, and also must teach this young man the price of being cocky.
  3. "True Callings" Harm aids a sailor who brought a pregnant Kosovo woman onboard the USS Patrick Henry. He also is informed he has a dim future as an aviator since his counterparts have longer flight hours and more active experience than him. Meanwhile, his RIO Skates has panic attacks and Harm tries to console her and they both push a damaged F-14 into friendly territory.

  10. 'Mishap' Harm's former RIO Skates is charged after she apparently failed to guide a F-14 safely to land on a carrier. Mac aggressively prosecutes and tell Harm he is treating the case personally. This is so since Harm is locked against the carrier's commanding officer, also the covening authority. Skates threatens to resign but is acquitted.
  11. "Ghosts of Christmas Past" Harm meets a fictional singer who knew his father during the Vietnam war at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial during Christmas Eve.note

  24. 'Adrift' (Part 1 of 2) Mac and Mic's wedding plans are disrupted when Harm's and Skates' F-14 Tomcat goes down during an intense storm and he is lost at sea. Mac is even more conflicted as Skates is rescued but Harm is not.

  1. "Adrift, Part II" (Part 2 of 2) Harm miracously is rescued but is in stage 4 hypothermia. Skates manages to revive him but denies that she "jumped his bones." Mac and Mic's wedding is postponed as a result.

With the possibility that he may leave JAG for the second time in a row, Mac refuses to say goodbye again. Harm and Mac decide the time has come to make good on their feelings for one another and put them to practice, even if it means they must decide between love and their careers.
