The legend himself.

Cuide su rebaño, nunca deje su lado. Cuide su sangre, el Chupacabra tiene hambre. (Take care of your flock, never leave their side. Take care of your blood, the chupacabra is hungry.)

The legend of El Chupacabra comes to Portland as a man returns from abroad with an unexpected passenger. Wu confronts Nick about the strange occurences he's experienced, and ends up seeing more than he bargained for.

Monroe and Rosalee contend with Wesen purists as they prepare to leave on their delayed honeymoon.

Viktor takes Adalind back to Portland to search for the missing child.

This episode provides examples of:

  • Cliffhanger: Wu is arrested after getting in a barfight, Monroe is kidnapped and Juliette woges.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: When he sees that his wife is infected and Rosalee only has one dose of the antidote, Diego grabs the syringe and plunges it into her back, ensuring that she is the one who is saved.
  • Idiot Ball: The original plan was for Monroe and Rosalee to stay with Nick and Juliette until they leave for their honeymoon. It's not clear why they go back to their house with a cop posted outside, who turns out to be a Wesenrein.
  • Knight Templar Parent: Juliette mentions that her grandmother used to tell her that El Chupacabra could be attracted by "coming home after dark" or "getting in a car with a boy."
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Monroe is kidnapped while taking a sandwich out to the cop he and Rosalee think is protecting them.
