Speed Trap

Jon is going to a picnic when a police officer stops him for speeding in an 8 MPH (miles per hour) zone. Jon says it's ridiculous, as he didn't see the sign, so the officer leads him to a small sign that no one can see, then tells him to pay the ticket. Jon refuses, so the police officer takes him to court. Just as they arrive, Garfield and Odie realize that the judge and and the police officer (and the defending attorney) are the same person, and that he is trying to con Jon. Jon doesn't see the con and begs the judge to let him go, so the judge sentence him to 100 dollars fine.

Garfield and Odie drag Jon away and the police officer gives chase. Jon, who still doesn't realize the police officer is a phony, wants to surrender, but suddenly his car hood is chipped off by an oncoming truck, and he's thrown out of the car. Jon is caught by the police officer. Garfield and Odie manage to read the manual and stop the car just in time, only for the real police to halt them. Odie gives the fake ticket to one of the officer and they recognize the name "Officer Weevil", a crook who impersonates a cop, while Garfield shows them the way. Jon begs to be let out to save his pets, but Weevil refuses to listen, charging Jon extra for his 'crimes', until the real officers catch him red handed. Jon is relieved and thanks Garfield for saving him. He then asks how he can repay him, and Garfield asks him to buy them an umbrella. Jon complies, and once he starts driving, it starts raining and only Jon is soaked as his car is still missing its hood.

Flights of Fantasy

Orson convinces Wade to use his imagination and Wade imagines that he is saving the chickens from the weasel – unaware that his imagination is real.

Castaway Cat

When the cable goes out, Garfield is forced to turn to books for entertainment. But like Orson, it turns out that Garfield's imagination gets away from him when he imagines himself as Robinson Crusoe while reading the very same book. Eventually, Garfield becomes so engrossed in the story that he starts acting out the novel, incorporating Odie, Jon, and the cable guy who came to fix the cable.
