After disturbing Mr. Mufflin one two many times during class, Fanboy and Chum Chum are forced to sit at separate desks apart from each other. Worried this could cause the fabric of earth to fall apart, the boys try in vain to reunite.
Tropes:
- Bottle Episode: Most of the episode takes place inside Mr. Mufflin's classroom, with brief scenes of the Fanlair, playground, and hallway near the beginning, and a photo of a memory from the Frosty Mart.
- Laser-Guided Karma: Both Mr. Mufflin and Kyle get proper punishments.
- For Mr. Mufflin, separating FB and CC resulted in the universe nearly falling apart, and is sent into space in a bubble where he is forced to yodel quietly in his underwear.
- For Kyle, going out of his way to ensure that FB and CC stay separated results in him being ensnared in the tentacles of Glaxnor the Space Squid after the black hole opens.
- Jerkass Ball: Kyle is at his worse this episode, as he does whatever he can to make sure the boys stay separated no matter how hard they try. He also claims in a snarky tone they back-sassed Mr. Mufflin, and inadvertently destroys his miniature city and excuses himself.
- Noodle Incident: Fanboy recalls one time he tried to grab a hot dog from the Frosty Mart microwave with just his tongue. It was not at all fun for him.
- Reality Warper: Both FB and CC are heavily implied to be this in the episode, as the former claims separating them would rip a hole in the space-time continuum. Naturally, that's exactly what happens in the climax.
- The Stool Pigeon: When Mr. Mufflin is about to punish the boys for two classroom disruptions and Fanboy claims it's usually a three-strike rule, Kyle becomes a Petty Peter when he tells Mr. Mufflin that "back-sassing" him results in the third disruption.
