A jock named Isaac hits on a waitress named Cindy, but she rejects him and says she prefers men like Dante. Jealous, he starts stalking Dante in an attempt to get some dirt on him. As the days pass, where he suffers more and more Amusing Injuries, he witnesses Dante slay several demons, but since they were in human form, a horrified Isaac concludes that Dante is a psychotic mafia hitman. He desperately warns Cindy to stay away from Dante, but she thinks he's just jealous and walks away in a huff. Sid, the demon Dante spared in the first episode, briefly shows up and hands Isaac a bell, claiming it will help him, but it's a trick. Every time the bell is rung, a hideous demon is summoned to the location. Dante rescues him, slays all the summoned demons, and destroys the bell. A grateful Isaac hangs out with Dante the next day and acts a lot friendlier to people. It's implied his new demeanor managed to win Cindy over.
