With Father away for the day, The DCFDTL invite Cree and the teenagers to their mansion to plan a new strategy against the Kids Next Door, but instead, the teenagers turn it into a wild house party, leaving the DCFDTL to call Sector V for help.

Tropes that are appear in this episode:

  • Alcohol-Induced Idiocy: Replace "alcohol" with "soda" and you've got this.
  • The Cameo: Being one of the two major teen villains, Chad does make an appearance, but all it amounts to is a brief shot of him walking around during the party and then him telling Numbuh 4 to watch where he's going after he bumps into him while Chad was dancing with his girlfriend, and responding to Numbuh 3's "Sorry dude" in a "You'd better be!" reply.
  • Ceiling Banger: Done by Numbuh 1 towards Numbuh 4 and The Upper Crust in The Stinger.
  • Chekhov's Gun: The Moment Killer (see below) was the result of someone stealing Cree's deodorant. Earlier in the episode, it was shown that Numbuhs 1, 2, 3 and 4 had raided Cree's room (something Numbuh 5 scolded them for), stealing a lot of her stuff, including — you guessed it — the deodorant, which KND scientists claimed was some kind of "unmeltable ice cream treat" that Numbuh 4 eats, and continues to eat even after being told it's deodorant.
  • Continuity Nod: Father reminds the Delightful Children to feed the cats while he's gone, alluding to the Sinister Felines From Atop the Litter Box in "Operation: H.A.M.S.T.E.R."
  • Conflict Killer: Played for Laughs. Just when Cree and Numbuh 5 are about to get into another fight, a teen warns them that Father is on his way home from Saratoga Springs and that they should run like hell.
Teen: Dudes! Father's car is down the street! We got to bolt!
  • Convenient Slow Dance: Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4 are ordered to the kitchen to cook the mashed potatoes. Conveniently, the dining room in front of the kitchen has been commandeered by the teens for slow-dancing between couples.
  • Crowd Panic: The teens run for their lives when they get the signal Father is coming home early back to the DCFDTL's mansion. Father arrived just in time to see all of them fleeing en masse and for one teenager stupid enough to alert him in his limo without confirming who could be inside the limo.
  • Didn't Think This Through: The DCFDTL invited a whole bunch of teenagers into their home without any adult supervision. Hilarity Ensues as they recklessly ruin the Delightful Mansion with a wild party.
  • Dirty Coward: Oh, and then Father decides to come back home early. What's the DCFDTL's pathetic response? Blame the Kids Next Door who they contacted to come clean up their mess.
DCFDTL: (points fingers at Sector V) THEY DID IT!
  • Enemy Mine: The DCFDTL outright beg Sector V to help them get rid of the teens. The KND are honor bound to agree, as while they are their enemies, the DCFDTL are still kids, who are in distress at the moment.
  • Exact Words: Both the Delightful Children and Cree refer to their meet-up as a "soiree" and "party". It isn't until the teenagers arrive that the Delightful Children realize Cree was speaking literally.
  • Flanderization: In season 2's episode Operation: D.A.T.E. Numbuh 4 was more than happy to dance with Numbuh 3. But in this episode he is so anti-displays of affection that he can't dance with her without making faces of disgust and later he even accuses her of trying to make him die of dancey-kissy-face-itis.
  • Godzilla Threshold: The Delightful Children are so at a loss at what to do that they call their sworn enemies to get rid of the teens.
  • Home-Early Surprise: The party comes to an abrupt end when the teens realize Father's on his way home. Father himself is rather dumbfounded.
  • Honor Before Reason: Sector V are honor-bound to agree to help the DCFDTL stop the Wild Teen Party since while the DCFDTL are technically their enemies, they are still kids nonetheless.
  • Hope Spot: The Upper Crust's appearance, where they introduced themselves as a "string quartet" and start their performance with classical music. The Delightful Children have a brief respite — that is thoroughly destroyed when the Upper Crust abruptly change genres (and instruments), revealing themselves to actually be a rock band whose music just eggs the teenagers on.
  • Lampshade Wearing: Among the teens partying wildly, there's one kid doing this. "I'm a lamp! Get it?"
  • Mass "Oh, Crap!": The teens when someone spots Father's car down the street.
  • Moment Killer: What kills the romantic moment between Cree and Maurice is not Maurice's reluctance to kiss her but rather Cree's body odor (caused by the KND having stolen her deodorant).
  • No Antagonist: Unusually for an episode featuring the Delightful Children, Cree, Chad and Father, no one actually fills the role of antagonist in this episode. The teens invading the house are just interested in having a good time, with Cree wanting to get with Maurice, while Father's role actually involves him taking a break from torturing kids for once.
  • No Ending: Father gets home and finds his mansion ruined and vandalized thanks to a wild party the DCFDTL threw, along with the KND landing right next to them after being shot into the air by the mashed potatoes explosion. It's unknown what the outcome is and who Father will blame.
  • Noodle Incident: Paulie Marcus' sixth birthday. Fruit punch, multiple piƱatas, and the near loss of four operatives.
  • Pet the Dog: Before leaving on his trip Father mentions he left the DCFDTL some money to order pizza with. It's not much admittedly but considering how he normally treats them...
  • Save the Villain: The Kids Next Door help the Delightful Children after the latter remind them that they help all kids in need.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: A mass exodus of the Delightful Mansion ensues after one teen spots Father's car driving down the street.
  • Ship Tease: Several instances in this episode.
    • In order to sneak by teenagers having a romantic dance in the dining room to get to the kitchen, Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4 slow dance past them.
    • Cree and Maurice sneak into Father's inner sanctum. Both Numbuh 5 and Maurice believe she's using the party as a decoy to get one of Father's secret weapons, but it turns out she just wants to have a romantic moment with Maurice.
    • Though this only becomes obvious with the benefit of hindsight, Numbuh 2 trying to hit on some cheerleaders only to be dragged away by an annoyed Numbuh 5.
  • Shout-Out:
    • To the famous Star Wars "only hope" scene. Obi-Wan Kenobi's role is played by Sector V. Princess Leia? The Delightful Children from Down the Lane.
    • When the Upper Crust introduce themselves, the DCFDTL initially call them The Who.
  • Shown Their Work: The instruments the Upper Crusts used in their initial performance is an accurate depiction of a string quartet, with two violins, a viola and a cello.
  • Teens Are Monsters: The Delightful Children initially invited the teens over to plan the destruction of the Kids Next Door, in hopes of being accepted as teens and be one step closer to adulthood. They are thoroughly disabused of any desire to be teenagers when their prospective allies instead use this opportunity to throw a massive party that completely trashes their house.
  • That Poor Cat: Right at the beginning of the episode, Father reminds the Delightful Children to feed the cat while he's gone. Said cat is promptly one of the victims of the ensuing Wild Teen Party.
  • Who's on First?: When the Upper Crust appear, the DCFDTL asks "The who?" — both a play on the band and also them saying "We've never heard of you guys".
  • Villain Episode: A rare episode starring The DCFDTL (at least for the first half, before the KND take over).
  • Villain Has a Point: Sector V was willing to leave the Delightful Children to their fate until they point out that as KND operatives, its their duty to help kids against adults and teens, which includes their enemies. Numbuh 5 is the first to concede the point.
  • Villains Out Shopping:
    • The reason Father's out is because he went to Saratoga Springs for some doctor-prescribed R&R.
    • This is also what Cree and the teenagers are using the party as to take a break from fighting the KND, though Sector V and Maurice mistake it for a secret plot to swipe one of Father's secret weapons.
  • Wild Teen Party: TV Y-7 version, involving lots of soda and juvenile antics rather than drugs, alcohol and sex. Among said juvenile antics include unrestrained littering, brawling, conga lines, stair surfing (using the Delightfuls' expensive silverware) and the conspicuous destruction of the mansion's furnishings, include several pieces of fine art and at least one lamp.
