The Doctor and Ian Chesteron land on a planet with strange alien creatures who seem to be moving incredibly fast. The race is moving on an accelerated rate of time, developing their culture around the strange men and their Police Box. They evolve and go to war, killing themselves off, in what appears to all pass by in a few minutes for the TARDIS travellers.
