Feeling ostracized by her mother and unfulfilled by her marriage to Tobias, Lindsay starts her journey of self-discovery by travelling to India. Unbeknownst to her, Tobias has the exact same idea and travels alongside her. Both return with the idea of, respectively, finding her love back home, and going back to acting. After their return, the Fünkes buy a big house they clearly can't afford.
