Morrigan: There are things about human society that have always puzzled me. Such as the touching — why all the touching for a simple greeting?
The Warden: Touching? Like a handshake?
Morrigan: To begin with, yes. What is the point of touching my hand? I find it an offensive intrusion.
Lars: I'm worried about her. I think she [Karin] has a little problem.
Dr. Dagmar: Oh, well, maybe you shouldn't tell me.
Lars: No, that's okay. It's just, and I think it's because she's insecure, it's just, she's just always trying to hug everybody. You know, some people don't like that. Some people don't like to be hugged. But she doesn't realize that. She takes it personally, and, it hurts her feelings. I don't know what to do about that. Do you?
Dr. Dagmar: It's such a comfort sometimes, just to have somebody's arms around you. Don't you think?
Dr. Dagmar: It feels good.
Lars: It does not feel good. It, it hurts.
Dr. Dagmar: Oh, like a cut, or bruise?
Lars: Like a burn. Like when you go outside and your feet freeze and you come back in and then they thaw out? It's like that. It's almost exactly like that.
Dr. Dagmar: Same with everyone?
Lars: Uh, not really with Bianca. But everyone else.
Hannelore: Eeeeee hah eeeee hah eeeeeeee hah eeeee hah
Marten: Wh-what's wrong now?!
Marten: I'm sorry! I was just tryin' to reassure you!
Hannelore: Hugging Hannelore Heralds Heavy Hyperventilation! It's a simple mnemonic! Use it!
Sergei: (grabs the Exia's head) That head of yours... I'll take it!
Setsuna: You're mistaken! (whips out a beam saber and hacks Sergei's Tieren into pieces) NO ONE. Touches me.

"Sorry. I...I don't like being pawed. Not unless I paw first."

You put your hands on me and I'll break your friggin' clavicle.
—Eliot Spencer, Leverage
An affectionate gesture, a sweet, secret hug. When Ruby did this, Weiss would suck in a deep breath as the feelings came.
