* Abraham from ''Webcomic/ElGoonishShive'' seems to be this. He takes no pleasure in what he does, and it's heavily implied that if it wasn't for his oath, he wouldn't be antagonizing the cast, but he lacks the openly sympathetic aspect that would make him an AntiVillain.

* * ''Webcomic/ElGoonishShive'':
**
Abraham from ''Webcomic/ElGoonishShive'' seems starts out as this, before becoming an AntiVillain and ultimately no villain at all. He swore an oath with the intent to be protect people, and the wording of it means he has to kill someone who isn't any kind of threat, but he hates this. He takes no pleasure in is ''absolutely relieved'' when Nananse persuades him that what he does, matters is the ''intent'', not the wording, and it's heavily implied that if it wasn't for his oath, he wouldn't be antagonizing the cast, but he lacks the openly sympathetic aspect that killing an innocent would be ''breaking'' his oath.
** Taken to eleven in the non-canon ''Franchise/{{Pokemon}}'' parody, in which Team Bad Guys are ''sanctioned roleplayers'' whose job is just to
make him an AntiVillain.the world more interesting for Grace-a-Monster trainers by pretending evil trainers are a thing.
