Nerdy Show is a weekly radio/podcast show initially featuring Triforce Mike, Hex, Cap, and Brian Clevinger (of 8-Bit Theater and Atomic Robo fame). In it, they talk about current news in games, comics, television, movies, science, nerd-core and other nerdy things. While this is going on, pretty much everyone is disgusted by Mike. The cast also hosts a Pen and Paper Game, Dungeons & Doritos, chronicling the crunchy adventures of their characters in the land of Doritodonia. Finally, the site also plays host to two other podcasts: Flame On, the all-gay, all-geek podcast, and the Real Congregation with Marc With a C, a weekly journey into one record geek’s music collection.

Recently, Triforce Mike passed away after being in a car accident. Various tribute videos and podcasts are up on the Nerdy Show site.

Dungeons & Doritos Characters

Galdap (played by Cap)

• Absent-Minded Professor
• Casanova Wannabe: He allegedly has a swinging bachelor pad and a Thunderbird, though its doubtful anyone has visited.
• The Chessmaster: Presumably.
• Large Ham: He's played by the same guy as Jamela, so it comes with the territory.
• Unreliable Narrator

Jamela Dal-ah Egbert III (played by Cap)

• Alpha Bitch: of the Vain Sorceress variety.
• Angrish: Jamela has dissolved into frustrated rage a couple of times, often after a string of particularly bad rolls.
• Bishie Sparkle: Has this happen on occasion, what with using light magic and having semi-reflective reptilian scales.
• Bi the Way: She's attracted to Jen'Ifer and probably Lefty. Really needs to get some.
• Breath Weapon: As a Dragonborn, she gets one of these of the fiery persuasion.
• Carry a Big Stick: Jamela's weapon of choice is a mace.
• Cross-Dressing Voices
• Distracted By The Shiny: Her quest is to find a pearl necklace and likes all that glitters.
• Heroic BSOD: Jamela has a couple after certain traumatic events, such as the complete destruction of pretty much every hope they had at Cool Ranch. Also after Lefty's kidnapping by the Man in Black.
• Inner Monologue: Averted. It was established as canon pretty early on that everything Cap says in Jamela's voice is actually spoken aloud by Jamela. This includes most descriptions of her own actions.
• The Lancer
• Large Ham
• Light 'Em Up: She uses light- and divine-based magic. Her people use their magic to navigate the tunnels where they live.
• Non Mammalian Mammaries: Averted. Jamela (usually) takes pride in not having any cumbersome flesh-bags to slow her down.
• Oh My Gods!: Often refers to Tiamat, the patron goddess of her tribe.
• Petite Pride: Fluctuates between this and A-Cup Angst since Non Mammalian Mammaries are averted.

Chair (played by Triforce Mike)

• The Character Died with Him: To the everlasting sadness of us all.
• A Wizard Did It: Chair was once a chair. Now he's a dwarf.
• Anything That Moves: and some things that don't. Like random pieces of furniture or creepy death cabins in the middle of hedge mazes.
• Berserk Button: Don't try to put clothes on Chair. Don't try to sit on him, either.
• The Big Guy
• Carry a Big Stick: Chair's weapon of choice is a shillelagh. Using said shillelagh is one of the few things he absolutely excels at.
• Cloudcuckoolander: Since Chair was originally a chair, he has a very different view of the world than the rest of the party.
• Fan Disservice: Mike manages to provide this (despite there being no visual aspect of Dungeons & Doritos other than the occasional piece of official artwork) through sheer ability at describing just how filthy Chair is.
• Full Frontal Assault: By virtue of not wearing clothes ever.
• Glass Cannon: Since Chair doesn't wear clothing, there is absolutely nothing protecting him from those oncoming weapons. Apart from his dodge skills, of course. At least he's got enough HP to last a while.
• Leeroy Jenkins: Chair's approach to most situations.
• Naked People Are Funny: Chair does not like clothes. Chair REALLY does not like clothes.
• Unskilled, but Strong
• Voluntary Shapeshifting: Chair's "Chare Moed", where he partially reverts back to his original chair form. Switches him from Glass Cannon to Stone Wall.

Vimak (played by Hex)

• Big Fun: Vimak, who is quite loud and jovial... when nothing's annoying him or threatening his friends, that is.
• Blade on a Stick: Vimak uses his grandfather's spear, though he had to switch to Chair's old club for a while after his spear broke.
• Calling Your Attacks: Oh yes.
• Combat Medic
• Elemental Powers: Actually has access to several:
  • Blow You Away: Vimak's strongest (and hardest to pull off) is his Blessing of the Seven Winds.
  • Dishing Out Dirt: Vimak also has the Soften Earth spell, which came in quite handy when they had to deal with a bunch of Golems.
  • An Ice Person: Vimak also has the Wrath of Winter spell.
• Fastball Special: Does this a few times with Chair with varying levels of success.
• Large Ham: I AM VIMAK!
• Magical Native American: Of a Russian-esque variant.
• Mighty Glacier: Vimak, while he has considerable strength and stamina, is the slowest character in the party.
• Shotgun Wedding: Vimak's perspective on his "marriage" to Chair. It's a long story.
• The Smart Guy
• Team Dad: Barty even refers to him as "Dad" during arguments.
• Third-Person Person: Occasionally.

Wolf-Bear (played by Hex or Ruel; depends on the situation)

• Biological Mashup: Wolf and bear.
• Bond Creature: to Vimak or vice-versa.
• Spirit Advisor: Wolfbear died early in Vimak's life and guides him from the beyond.

Jen'Ifer (played by Brian)

• Did I Just Say That Out Loud?: "I wonder how powerful my Eldritch Blast would be if I had that thing working for me. ...I mean, working for it."
• Dirty Coward: Jen'Ifer generally prefers to rain hellfire upon his foes from a suitable distance. Usually with a couple of meat shields—I mean friends in the way.
  "That fellow is entirely too close to your warlock."
• Gender Blender Name: It's a perfectly legitimate name!
• Playing with Fire: Jen'Ifer uses lots of hellish fire spells. He's not overly cautious about his teammates' safety, however. Or the safety of the surrounding area. Or the concept of fire safety in general.
• Token Evil Teammate: Oh so much.
• Put on a Bus: Jen'Ifer was trapped in a magic gemstone for several episodes.
  • And I Must Scream: Said gemstone was often being held in Jamela's private pouch. When she wasn't fondling it lovingly, that is.

Bartholomew Aelfgar Gleem’n (played by Colin)

• The Charmer: with a strong hint of The Casanova
• Chivalrous Pervert: Barty, who, while a generally decent person overall, set up a web-cam system (involving an actual spider) so the entire Isle of Mages could watch the various hijinks that Lefty and Jamela got up to together. And then he uses a mystic camcorder crystal to film said events after they leave the Isle of Mages.
• Fragile Speedster: One the fastest and most agile characters, but he's definitely not the sturdiest.
• The Heart: He tends to either try to cheer up the other characters, or make their blood boil.
• Knife Nut
• Linear Warriors, Quadratic Wizards: During the Curb-Stomp Battle with the giant worm in the Surf-Baiting contest, Vimak, Jamela, and Jen'Ifer blast the worm with awesome spells while Barty... throws a dagger.
• Lovable Rogue: From his backstory, this can be taken in more than one way.
• Twinkle Smile

Lefty Lucy Corney (played by Lucy)

• Archnemesis Dad: She kills him in her first episode.
• Dual Wielding: Sword and dagger style.
• Fanservice: Because this is in an audio medium, not a visual one, the amount of Fanservice Lefty can provide is limited. Still, this◊ piece of official artwork should give you an idea or two.
• Pirate Girl: Pirate princess to be precise.
• Punny Name
• The Sixth Ranger
• Tyke Bomb - Raised to be her father's enforcer and human shield. Eventually kills him out of revenge.
