- Subverted: Alice fires a gun that will turn people into plants at Bob, but misses.

- She hits Carl.
- She tries again and hits him.
- Parodied: Alice wants to start a garden, so she turns Bob, Carl, Diane, Emily, Fred, George and Harriet into flowers.
- Zig Zagged: Alice has the power to cast transformation spells that eventually wear off, and practices them on Bob. Sometimes, Alice turns Bob into a tree, sometimes she turns him into a sheep, sometimes she turns him into a flower, and sometimes she turns him into a kangaroo.
