Adol Christin, The Unchosen God (Adol the Red)
  • Theme Song: The Boy's Got Wings
  • Intermediate God, Greater God when equipped with magic-granting items
  • Symbol: A stack of adventure journals
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: Saving The World Despite Not Being Chosen To, Chronic Hero Syndrome, Jumped at the Call, Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?, Having No Supernatural Powers Until Gaining Them From An External Source, Walking the Earth, But Now I Must Go
  • Domains: Adventure, Helping, Heroism
  • Allies: Emilia Justina, Yona, Flynn, The Console Patron Units, Nepgear, Yuri Volte Hyuga, Asura
  • Enemies: Davy Jones, Melkor, Darkseid, Thanos, Arfoire
  • Rival: Link
  • Adol just... Kind of showed up in the Pantheon one day, apparently on his own terms. Some gods have retroactively stated that they brought him there for some divine purpose, but it's pretty clear he just wandered in. Given the numerous deities he's slain in his own homeworld, not many people felt like asking why. He eventually told everybody why he came: Because some people were in trouble in the Pantheon, he came to help them.
  • Had an interesting encounter with the CPU girls not long after he arrived, with them mistaking him for Falcom. After a brief, amusing conversation wherein the girls thought he was Falcom, but now suddenly a guy, the whole mess was sorted out and they became good enough friends.
    • Even after Blanc and Nepgear met Adol, they're still asking him for autographs. Nepgear and Blanc LOVED Falcom's books (which were much like Adol's own journals of his adventures), and Adol is pretty much the same gal... er, guy. Adol seems to be a bit too focused on helping others to recognize what this implies. This is par for the course.
  • Was initially banned from the House of Food, as some took a line about him eating gods for breakfast literally. Adol himself remains pretty humbly unaware of said reputation, and was eventually let into the House of Food after demonstrating that he only takes out evil gods.
  • To absolutely nobody's surprise, he got along well with Link for a multitude of reasons. They consider each other a Friendly Rival, due to their contrast of Link being The Chosen One, and being strong due to it, whereas Adol is The Unchosen One, only retroactively becoming The Chosen One in some situations because he's strong.
    • For similar reasons, he gets along quite well with Flynn. Adol often helps keep Flynn on his toes by steam-rolling through most of Flynn's demons, though no clear victor between the two has ever been decided.
  • Him and Davy Jones are mutually displeased with the other. Davy Jones is angered that Adol can somehow survive so many shipwrecks, and Adol's annoyed that there WERE so many shipwrecks.
  • Adol has, on several occasions, simply walked into Mordor.
    • On a single occasion, after hearing of the Yamato Perpetual Reactor, he felt inclined to lend a hand to protecting that. Unfortunately, he didn't tell Flynn about this, so Adol had to single-handedly carve a path through the defenses. He made it, but not before Flynn and Naoki both showed up, both understandably pissed. Flynn demanded compensation for the defenses, which Adol is currently working off by helping them out.
  • Considering how much more dangerous he becomes when using artifacts, negotiations are underway to allow him access to much of the House of Treasures during times of crisis. "Allowing access" meaning "just knowing he'll go in and pick it up whenever he needs it".
  • Despite "officially" residing in the House of Prophecy, you're just as likely to find Adol anywhere else. If you're not sure where, just look for whoever needs help the most and he won't be far off. Adol doesn't so much jump at the call as he does actively find calls.
  • Seems to have formed an impromptu dark god-killing team with Yuri Volte Hyuga. This has unnerved the GUAE to some degree.
    • They were very much MORE unnerved when Asura joined the team.

    Neo
Neo, The Chosen God and The Divine Guardian of Virtual Training Simulations (The One, Mr. Thomas A. Anderson)
http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/neo_matrix_5146.png
  • Theme Song: "Rock Is Dead" by Marilyn Manson
  • Intermediate God, Greater God on the Matrix
  • Symbol: A green "1" on a black background
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Badass Longcoats, Kung Fu, Self-Fulfilling Prophecies, Bullet Dodging, Roof Hopping, Taking Third Options, Blankness Of Face, Chooses To Continue, Takes Characteristics From Buddhism, Screw Destiny, Superpower Lottery, Actually A Descendant Of Many "Ones",
  • Domains: Heroes, Liberation, Mysticism
  • Followers: Every single person who has been chosen as a hero.
  • Allies: Kevin Flynn, Sam Flynn, Tron, Aslan, Adam Jensen, JC Denton, Lisbeth Salander, Kei Shirogane, John Constantine, Kite, Kirito and Asuna, Yui, Sinon, Yuuki Konno, Silica, The GUAG White Hats and many good-aligned gods.
  • Rivals: John Wick
  • Enemies: Agent Smith, the Master Control Program, Sark, Albert Wesker, CLU, SHODAN, GLaDOS, Ex, Love Machine, The Meta, The Vex, all evil-aligned gods.
  • Complicated Relations with: The Machine, Ben Croshaw/Yahtzee and Ted "Theodore" Logan
  • Respected by: Aang
  • When the Grid was going to be part of the Dominions, Neo unexpectedly arrived in the Pantheon through the Grid itself. No one knew how he did such feat, but one good guess might be is that The Matrix was merged (or at least connected) with The Grid along with other Virtual Worlds.
    • After the Court of the Gods checked his history, it seems that he was actually the God of The Chosen Ones, as prophecied by Aladdin and would be the said representative. Kevin Flynn however, had the idea that he would also be the safeguard of the Grid and Matrix since his powers in those realms are at its highest. At the same time, the House of Prophecy also mentioned that a certain Agent Smith would ascend one day "in order to balance the equation". Neo, who was already prepared at that time, decided to wait for the agent's return.
    • And his training paid off. Just as Agent Smith ascended, he was able to put up a fight and fended him off until Kevin temporarily deleted him out of the Grid. He might be still strong enough to handle him, but he knows that his "peaceful days" in the Pantheon will no longer be possible due to his constant confrontations with Smith.
  • Out of all the Gods in the House of Philosophy, he has the highest regard to Aslan for having the same personalities, except that Neo sometimes doesn't regard himself as a Jesus-like figure.
  • Has a really stingy relationship with John Wick for someone who is actually competent in combat (or in Wick's case, frightening). They also got Badass Longcoats, Gun Fu and able to fend off large amounts of Mooks. They are still in good terms though.
    • On the other hand, he does have a good relationship with John Constantine, as someone who is mostly unfazed, and combat-intelligent. It makes it better that they both look the same.
  • The constant attacks from Smith has forced Neo to gather some allies. The two cyborgs, Adam Jensen and JC Denton, decided to join Neo since their have some similarities. Kei Shirogane also offered his services to assist him in his everlasting battles for Cyberspace. Kite, who was also astonished of his presence also aided him.
    • After that, he was given a position into the GUAG White Hats, under the permission by Sam Flynn. He was also given a tour of the Grid by Tron. Then forth, Kirito and Asuna decided to give him a training exercise. This introduced him to a large amount of allies, as a compensation for his allies who hasn't ascended yet.
    • Aside from Smith himself, he doesn't get along well with Albert Wesker and CLU for being all too similar to the agent. CLU on the other hand has seen him as another threat aside from Kevin.
    • The MCP has really gotten annoyed with Neo for completely breaking all rules he has implemented in the House of Technology. For someone completely going for the Screw Destiny type, he and Sark are going to have a hard time dealing with him.
  • At one point, he attempted to go to the deeper parts of the House of Technology. There, he was looking for his lover, Trinity because he heard her voice. Turns out, he was greeted by Goth Hacker, Lisbeth Salander. She explained that Trinity was actually her High Priest, which was why he felt her presence. Neo however, decided to ally with her and didn't have any hard feelings for the mistake. He is proud though that he has a potential hacker against Smith.
    • Her first objective with him was that she wanted to implant various combat moves from the House of Combat!. Neo declined though, since he already knew a certain combat technique.
    Neo: I know Kung Fu.
  • His avatar is one of, if not, the most powerful Virtual Avatar in the Pantheon. There, almost the entirety of the Grid is at his manipulation (not control though, since that is Kevin's job). SHODAN and GLaDOS has really dreaded him for stopping all their plans, mostly to SHODANs.
    • Ex however, still proves as one of Neo's troublesome adversaries. Being powerful in terms of weapons, he was able to take down Neo in one swoop at their first encounter. Still, he was able to defeat him before, when he charged at the body of Ex and damaged him badly, to the point where the entire Gundam was cut in half.
    • Love Machine tried to absorb his avatar. It instead blew the Cheating AI into bits. He didn't get the memo about The Strongest Virtual Avatar in the Pantheon message before he tried to absorb him. Neo also remarked that his defeat was reminiscent to how he defeated Smith during his first encounter.
    • He is one of the few deities who isn't even scared of the Meta. The Rogue AI however, has other plans rather than deal with a Chosen One.
    • Despite being a good guy, he still dislikes The Machine since his memories fighting the other Agents (who are machines, mind you) are still stuck at his memory. Even with persuasion, The Machine is still wary of Neo's intentions because of the rise of Malevolent Cyberspace deities. It makes it clear that it can't trust almost everyone, though it will help Neo combat Smith and CLU if necessary.
  • He would really like it if the other gods don't make comparisons of him to one Ted "Theodore" Logan of the House of Music. It really does not help in that they sound somewhat similar.
  • Was finally greeted by another chosen by the name of Aang. As the representative of Chosen Ones, he has high respect towards Neo. He has also stated that if he disappears, Aang may take his position.
  • "My name... Is Neo."
  • Also has a spot on the House of Technology.

    Nimue Inwudu/Madame Xanadu
Nimue Inwudu, Goddess of Fortune Tellers and Inventor of Tarot (Madame Xanadu)

    Saint Sabbat
Saint Sabbat, God of Predetermined Fate (The Saint, The Beati)
  • Intermediate Goddess
  • Symbol: The flower Islumbine
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: A God Am I, First Episode Resurrection, The Plan Gambit Roulette, Battle Aura, You Can't Fight Fate, Prophecies Are Always Right
  • Domains: Beauty, Loyalty, Good, Sacrifice
  • Superior: The Immortal God-Emperor of Mankind
  • Allies: Ibram Gaunt, Ciaphas Cain, Gunner Jurgen, Ascended Gods of the Imperium
  • Enemies: All enemies of the God Emperor and Mankind
  • Saint Sabbat is the first and currently the only Living Saint to ascend to the Pantheon. She absolutely ecstatic to be able to freely talk with the God Emperor and to be among the Primarchs and other Ascended Gods of the Imperium. At the same time Sabbat is absolutely disgusted at the presence of the Chaos Gods and Daemon Primachs.
  • Despite now being a God herself, Sabbat remains absolutely loyal to the God Emperor, frequently preaching his word hoping to convert fellow Gods to the worship of the Emperor.
  • As the only Imperial God within the House of Prophecy it is her duty to keep watch on Eldrad Ultharan and report back to the Emperor on his actions. The Eldar God is manipulative and incredibly longsighted due to his powers as a Farseer. Often his plans result in the benefit of few Eldar while countless Humans and other lifeforms suffer.
  • Sabbat frequently visits the House of Faith whenever she's not at her Temple or consulting the Emperor.

    Takuma Saiou
Takuma Saiou, God of Dark Messiahs (Sartorius)
http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sartorius_1326.jpg
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: Three Pillars of Light.
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil (True Neutral when not possessed by The Light of Destruction)
  • Portfolio: Cults, Fate, Break Them by Talking, Masters of Mind Control, Orbital Laser Cannons, Symbolism, Well Intentioned Villainy, Villains With Light Motifs, Creepy Monotony, Tragic Villains, Turning Good Because of Realizing His Misdeeds.
  • Domains: Corruption, Evil, Fate, Tyranny, Light, Tarot.
  • Allies: Jedah Dohma, YHVH (?), Eliphas, Il Palazzo, Oriko Mikuni, Shark, Kaworu Nagisa and most good-to-neutral gods voiced by Akira Ishida.
  • Former Allies: Judge Claude Frollo, Seymour Guado, Arthas Menethil, Gill
  • Interested In: Tatsuya Suou and any other Persona User.
  • Conflicting Opinions: Sora Shiun'in
  • Annoyed with: Deadpool, Excalibur
  • Enemies:
  • Friendly Enemies: Judai "Jaden" Yuki, Makoto Naegi
  • Opposes: Future Diary Holders, Dinosaurs, the Ultramen in the Toku Base
  • Ascended to this House in order to impose his dark faith in the Pantheon. That and to show the rest of the Gods his skills in the Duel Monsters card game.
    • What many (including Saiou himself) don't know nor suspect is that the dark faith he's preaching about is actually that of The Light of Destruction, an unofficial aspect of YHVH. Though the GUAL has plans of snapping him of it on the condition that he would officially join them. Since the Great Will is offering him to let him have his powers (very unlike the Light of Destruction), it seems like he could accept the offer...
  • Is verily enjoyed that his inspirational figures, Gill and Jedah Dohma, had joined to the Pantheon. Or so it seemed, but his relationship with them could become strained if he is not brainwashed.
  • He once predicted that "a fool" would be ascending into the Pantheon. That fool turned out to be an enemy from his own world, Judai "Jaden" Yuki. They have been opposing each other ever since, or so it would seem to anyone not in the know. One part of Saiou is trying (but failing) to fight back his own possession and Judai is the only one who could bring him back to normal.
    • Sadly for Judai, he could be de-brainwashed by someone else and he could joined the GUAL. Their friendship remains, but to say this hasn't enraged Judai would be an Understatement.
  • Many have put his rank into question, given that his only power is fortune-telling. Until it was found that he managed to get the control of the SORA again (its original owner is kinda susceptible to brainwashing). Though it's vague what the satellite actually does, as it originally destroys everything on sight but there are other times where it simply brainwashes everyone into obedience. No matter what it will do, it's for this reason(s) that YHVH is very interested in having him in the GUAL...
    • Sora was not pleased in the least to find out about another evil use of his name and wonders if the Yu-Gi-Oh!-verse is conspiring against him. Saiou/Sartorius just told him to accept it.
    • The other Sora is slightly terrified of the satellite and even wonders if he was named after it, but even that thought scares him. Saiou's opinion of him is more neutral but he has wondered if he could brainwash the kid into the Society of The Light in his less conscious moments.
  • He can't stand the Diary Holders even at his more "normal", viewing them as rivals to his power. Minene Uryuu and Reisuke Houjou answer back this hostility because they can't stand religion.
  • He doesn't get out of his temple that frequently, preferring to read the cards about the Pantheon's future, so many were surprised when he summoned Arcana Force XXI - The World in one duel against Judai, since he sounded like Dio Brando. It really didn't help that he shouted out loud the words.
    • He also sounds similar to Deadpool and Excalibur. Let's just say he considers both different kind of fools (ﺧ益ﺨ) that the usual kind he often refers to.
  • Seems to be mildly interested in the gods coming from Persona, possibly because of his constant tarot card-reading. Tatsuya is the one that amuses him the most for sounding similar to him.
  • No, he doesn't workship Light Yagami, don't ask him again. And no, he doesn't workship the White neither, though it really does make you wonder with that satellite...
  • He has found an ally in Oriko Mikuni, who understands his plight and can also see the future. She and Ryoga Kamishiro really pity him, especially the latter since he was also a constant victim of possession. They are currently working with Eliphas to snap him out of it without the Great Will's intervention.
  • Has a considerable amount of respect towards Makoto Naegi because he reminds him of Judai. Naegi is also reminded a little of his classmate Yasuhiro Hagakure. He is trying to teach him Dueling Monsters even if it would be even if his luck would be the bane for his fortune-telling abilities. (Maybe that's the point).
  • He once warned the Radiant Heroes with a prediction that said "that one similar to me that some of you may not want to be ascended is coming soon". Who knows what he is talking about...
  • Has an extreme distaste against all Dinosaurs in the Pantheon and all of the Ultramen in the Toku Base (Eeeh, don't ask). He is currently working to make sure they never work together and that none of the latter are ever ascended so they won't join the Neo Toku Base.
    • He also dreads the inminent ascension of Diego Brando for these reasons. Yes, inminent.
  • Due to his fatalism, he can often be found together with Kyurem. It's not a question of if, but when either one of them will say "You Can't Fight Fate" or "Because Destiny Says So". Practically their unofficial catchphrases when they are together.
  • For your information, Saiou Takuma is his given name for the Japanese speaking Gods and Sartorius is his only name for the English speaking Gods.
  • Also present in the House of Faith.

    The Weird Sisters
The Weird Sisters, Goddesses of Cooking Unusual Magic Ingredients In A Cauldron and Unexpected Prophecy Completion (Phoebe, Luna, Seline)
http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/WeirdSisters_5324.JPG
  • Intermediate Goddesses
  • Symbol: A magical cauldron surrounded by three dark figures
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Domain: Prophecy, Magic
  • Portfolio: Unusual magical ingrdients cooked in a cauldron, have a familiar, really petty, has really weird features, kill Banquo to prevent witness, seemingly impossible prophecy condition that was completed
  • Allies: Esmeralda Weatherwax and Gytha Ogg
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Ysera, Alexstrasza, Ariel, Gul'dan
  • Enemies: Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, Ursula, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom, Sabrina Spellman, Artoria Pendragon
  • Opposed by: Goliath, David Xanatos
  • Complicated Relationship: The ascended Puella Magi Madoka Magica deities.
  • In the middle of one of their temple is their famous cauldron, always bubble with magical brews that holds various power to know the future. Various deities have asked the three witches what is in the cauldron as they have heard about the weird ingredients from Macbeth. The sisters just reply in very vague terms, prodding the entire Pantheon to be even more curious about the content.
  • Their ascension caused Macbeth and his wife went on a witch hunt as because of their vague prophecy leading Macbeth's fall and death. This got the couple banned from the House of Prophecy and Magic.
    • Because of said witch hunt, as well as one of Lady Macbeth's high priestess is their mortal enemy and the sisters are similar to them, Granny Weatherwax and Granny Ogg proposed an alliance to protect them from the couple.
  • Goliath is very uncomfortable about their ascension as he still has bad experience with one of their version in his world. David is also very uneasy around given the fact that they can see the future and sometime ended up manipulating him. The sisters just gleefully take joy in this incident at the thought of how they can strike such fear upon mortals and other supernatural creature.
  • Because of how petty and cruel they are, the three sisters earned the ire of a portion of good witches and warlocks in the Pantheon. Most notably include Harry, Hermione, Ron and Neville, as all four of them are uncomfortable sharing the House of Magic to someone who would so casually drive people insane. Sabrina Spellman also not their biggest fan either, as they recently had an interest in her as she shares a lot of tropes with them.
  • In her quest to reclaim her power, Ursula the sea witch heard about their temple and once broke in so she can steal their cauldron so she can make new bargains and regains of her power. Fortunately, the three sisters foresaw her visit using their power and asked Ariel for help to successfully repels the witch (the mermaid is very reluctant to help them but reasoned that it was the lesser of two evil). The sisters have swore revenge on Ursula ever since.
  • Was very confused when discover the tree deities from the House of Plants that are sentient and say that is just silly. Everyone just roll their eyes and state that witches can predict the future and cast spells, dead men can come back as ghosts, apparitions can rise from cauldrons in their world so tree certainly can move if they want to.
  • Because their temple is related to finding loophole in destiny and future, Ysera and Alexstrasza have been reluctantly enlist their help to see any possibility that their brother Nozdormu would not fall to evil in exchange for some of the ingredients the witches need to brew some of their more complex spells. The sisters have been working on it but warn the Dragon Aspects that the possibility is as likely as the Horde and the Alliance came to a compromise.
  • Because of the long-running nature of the work they are from, the witches have appeared in various forms with different jobs and even species aside from their traditional Old Hag look. Goliath and Xanatos saw them as various forms but the most prominent is as a trio of Hot Witch. Pokemon usually saw them as a trio of Gardevoirs; any Cute Monster Girl seeing them as monster girls. They also appeared as practitioners of Wicca, Gothic schoolgirls, Japanese forest spirit, black garbage collectors, nurses/organ poachers and many more.
  • Hates Artoria since they faced her original male counterpart in their world.
  • Entered a reluctant alliance with Gul'dan in order to ally against the Macbeths. They still approach him carefully as they heard that he betrayed the Horde and they don't want to lose their deal with Ysera and Alexstrasza.
  • Has a complicated relationship with the Magica deities. While the sisters admired the girl's witch form for being such powerful witches, they don't like the magical girls themselves as the girls are technically witch hunters. This was even more complicated as in their world witches have almost disappeared and replaced by wraiths. Both side usually prefer staying out of each other's path.
