* Despite being a pretty bad guy, Kotomine actively goes out of his way to assist people. Why? Because then he can [[ManipulativeBastard manipulate them to his own agenda]] which many good gods tend to forget and which is why they go to him for advice anyway. In order to deter this, it is dictated that he is not allowed near any new God being ascended because many are concerned he would manipulate them before they can learn he's not trustworthy. The Hades from [[Pantheon/NarrativeGenres Pit]]'s world likes Kotomine and his capabilities of toying with others for twisted amusement and Kotomine likewise is delighted that a powerful god like him can see that, yet deep down Kotomine can't help but be cautious around him [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness as he may outlive his usefulness]] to Hades who manipulates [[ForTheEvulz for the heck of it]] regardless of who his target is while the priest at least wanted to know humanity's true nature during the process.
