* Leona's entire situation revealed in Operation F.O.U.N.T.A.I.N. is an absolutely disturbing {{Deconstruction}} of GrowingUpSucks and the FountainOfYouth concept. Leona is actually a grown woman who is over 300 years old; having stumbled upon the Fountain of Youth in the ancient school underneath Gallagher Elementary, she used it to remain 10 years old for centuries. But because the effects are only temporary, she could never leave the school and spent those centuries keeping up her ruse of youth in an effort to never grow up, keeping the fountain a secret from anyone else. After the Delightful Children kidnap her and attempt to destroy it? Leona decides to "repay" Sector V for saving her by attempting to kill them via DeathByDeAging, since they now know her secret… showing how centuries of desperation to stay a child have driven Leona to madness. Had the Delightful Children not inadvertently pulled a VillainousRescue by destroying the fountain? Sector V would have been dealt a FateWorseThanDeath.

* The Delightful Children are terrifying when you know who they '''really''' are, and what happened to them. They used to be Sector Z, until they were captured by Father himself, and put them through such rigorous torture (or as he puts it, Delightfulization) to the point that's it's quite literally IMPOSSIBLE to turn them back (any attempts are just temporary). To think that such honorable members of the KND have been turned into such monsters is not only scary, but you have to think of [[ColdBloodedTorture what]] [[BeingTorturedMakesYouEvil kind]] [[MindRape of]] [[LossOfIdentity treatment]] Father put five '''ten year olds''' through, not to mention that the delightfulization was so intense that they work as one being.

*** Speaking of Operation H.O.T.S.T.U.F.F., the fact that Kuki's entire house turns into an active volcano just for touching the thermostat to make things hotter is creepy by itself. * Grandfather. Sure, Father was scary, but Grandfather takes it to another level. And he may have some humor, but overall, he's just scary. To elaborate, he's capable of turning anyone he touches into a senior citizombie...which naturally have the same ability as well. He's even capable of zombifying the world in a sense, turning it into a dull-colored world with nothing but elderly zombies walking around and the KND treehouses turned into tapioca factories. [[TheDarkTimes His reign]] in ''Operation Z.E.R.O.'' was implied to have been like one big old time child labor sweatshop taken up to eleven.
** In the same film, Numbuh 362 getting infected. Yes, even Numbuh 362, supreme leader of the KND at this point, is somewhat vulnerable against the senior citizombies. While she does manage to put up a fight, it is not long before she is overwhelmed and turned. Not to mention that while most of the Senior Citizombie transformations are frightening, hers was probably the most so because it was seen ''from her perspective''. The shot in question involved a zombified Numbuh 60 smirking sadistically and putting his hand over her face to transform her. Imagine everything going to black for a moment and then becoming evil when it cleared up. It's pretty easy to feel her fear. This only shows just how dangerous the senior citizombies are, as even the relatively harmless Toiletnator can become a walking nightmare, able to effortlessly induce infection with a simple touch.
** His initial zombification of the Toiletnator leads to pandemonium as he starts infecting the other villains left and right. It's played just as terrifyingly straight as any zombie infection outbreak, complete with a shot of Grandfather laughing maniacally as the entire crowd of villains get infected almost rapidly.
** The backstory is even more nightmarish when you consider Grandfather actually ruled the world. What the hell did he do to have been able to topple every government in the world?!
*** Presumably same thing he did in the present, turned most of the adults into Senior Citizombies and enslaved the kids to be slave labor.

* Operation P.O.P., where kids are being shoved into giant bottles of root beer. It's played ''very'' seriously.
** Numbuhs One and Four had it worse. They both got shoved into a bottle meant for one person.
** What's worse is that in real-life, these kids would undoubtedly die a very painful death from suffocation or simply because their organs were crushed from being in such a confined space. Thank god for cartoon physics.
* Operation G.H.O.S.T. becomes this with the inclusion of the ghosts of dead hamsters that once powered Sector V's treehouse. After Kuki's beloved hamster Chubbo dies, she and the gang bury him in the yard below before Kuki wishes she could take care of Chubbo after his death. The ghosts of past hamsters then rise from their afterlife to haunt and drag Kuki back to the hamster afterlife to care for the hamster ghosts for all eternity. After she refuses, the ghost afterlife instantly becomes chaotic and the hamster ghosts become enraged snarling ghouls that attempt to chase down and kill Kuki and her friends. After they escape, the ghosts rise from Chubbo's grave to become a large snarling hamster ghoul to finish off Sector V, but are quickly warded off and appeased using soda fired by the hamsters living the Treehouse.
** By far, the scariest moment in the episode comes from the hamster ghosts shedding their "flesh" like if it were just a costume.
* The episode where Count Spankulot turns Numbuh One into a spanking vampire. The entire treehouse is on lockdown til sunrise, it takes place in the middle of the night, and the colors change to a deep red. And with Nigel's teammates unaware of what's happened to him, they are stalked, spanked, and turned into vampires one by one, without even seeing who’s after them.

* Operation S.A.T.U.R.N. was a creepy episode all in its own. The whole backstory for RAMON-4 is just creepy in its own. For context, it's the robotic remains of a space experiment that after being shot into space, had its plush and fur rot away, joined with other floating space junk and developed god like powers. ''Creepy''...
** RAMON-4's origin. He was the end result of a race between the United States and the Soviet Union to create the perfect Rainbow Monkey: the Rainbow Monkey 4-Ever. What came out of it was a Rainbow Monkey doll with an unlimited supply of energy to play all day, feelings like a real child would and a sentient mind. The US scientists toiled for many years to create a Rainbow Monkey in their own image. Unfortunately, they succeeded. Why "Unfortunately" you ask? Apparently, the scientists who created this Rainbow Monkey took the "in their own image" part '''too literally'''. The Rainbow Monkey 4-Ever doll wound up looking like a nerdy old scientist with buck teeth, its appearance so unconventional (and not in a good way), no child ever wanted it. So, the scientists sent it to space to hide their mistake. However, the doll's sentience resulted in it feeling nothing but anger and sadness for its rejection. When it became powerful enough, it used its powers to steal children's Rainbow Monkeys, deciding that [[IfICantHaveYou if no child could love it, no Rainbow Monkey would be loved.]] Numbuh 3 feels sorry for Ramon-4 when she hears this story.
* The Chicken Pox. As in, [[BodyHorror living chicken heads grow out of your face]].
* In Operation N.A.U.G.H.T.Y., um....well... let's just say there's a '''VERY''' good reason why only Santa is allowed to use the REINDEER System.

* The [[AndIMustScream delightfulization]] process. Can you ''imagine'' being permanently brainwashed Grandfather. Sure, Father was scary, but Grandfather takes it to another level. There's also a senior citizombie...which naturally have the fact that [[AndIMustScream you're probably alive and aware throughout the entire ordeal and maybe same ability as well. He's even afterward]]...
* Operation M.I.N.I.G.

[[TheDarkTimes His reign]] in ''Operation Z.E.R.O.L.F. has '' was implied to have been like one big old time child labor sweatshop taken up to eleven.
** In
the very unsettling plot by Rupert Puttkin aka The Great Puttinski to shrink the world to the size of a golf ball. I don't even want to think about what would happen to an entire planet if it were shrunk down that drastically, let alone Earth itself.
** For some additional FridgeHorror, the Schwartzschild Radius of Earth is 8.7 millimeters. A regulation golf ball has a radius of 21.355 millimeters. What does this mean? Had he succeeded, Earth would be riiiight on the precipice of becoming a ''black hole!''
*
same film, Numbuh Three when she's [[https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/numbuh_3_insane_001.jpg pissed]]. She's just plain scary, especially her appearance. And her anger gives a whole new meaning to BewareTheNiceOnes.
** When she's almost made into a burger and served to a minivan full of sharks. Sounds hilarious? Guess again.
** Operation H.O.T.S.T.U.F.F. gave her [[PlayingWithFire pyrokinetic abilities]] that rivaled [[BigBad Father's]] and the [[http://knd.wikia.com/wiki/File:Demon.jpg appearance of a demon.]] She's also way more villainous than usual in this episode.
*** Speaking of Operation H.O.T.S.T.U.F.F., the fact that Kuki's entire house turns into an active volcano just for touching the thermostat to make things hotter is creepy by itself. The [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/knd/images/9/9f/H.O.T.S.T.U.F.F..jpg/revision/latest?cb=20130117033602 visuals]] [[https://knd.fandom.com/wiki/File:Burning_Bedroom.png are not nice]].

362 getting infected. Yes, even Numbuh One away from his friends for good, by putting a boyfriend helmet, The Yes-Dear 5000, on his head. As Numbuhs 2-5 realize what Lizzie has done, it's made shockingly clear that they mass produce and sell those helmets in magazine ads! The effects 362, supreme leader of the helmet actually become permanent as the helmet fuses with the victim's head. While it fortunately doesn't end up permanent with Numbuh One, due to his rage overloading and exploding the helmet, [[KarmaHoudini Lizzie doesn't get much comeuppance...]]
** Until Operation S.N.O.W.I.N.G. that is. Here, [[LaserGuidedKarma karma comes back for Lizzie's head]] when the Fourth Grade President James Nixon [=McGarfield=] (who by
KND at this point, had gone is somewhat vulnerable against the senior citizombies. This only shows just how dangerous the dark side), shoves senior citizombies are, as even the relatively harmless Toiletnator can become a reprogrammed Yes-Dear 5000 onto Lizzie's skull and it ''[[BodyHorror fuses walking nightmare, able to effortlessly induce infection with her head!!]]''

a simple touch.
** His initial zombification
of root beer. the Toiletnator leads to pandemonium as he starts infecting the other villains left and right.
* In Operation N.A.U.G.H.T.Y., um....well... let's
just say there's as terrifyingly straight as any zombie infection outbreak, complete with a '''VERY''' good reason why only Santa is allowed to use shot of Grandfather laughing maniacally as the REINDEER System.
* The Chicken Pox. As in, [[BodyHorror living chicken heads grow out of your face]].
* The Delightful Children from Down the Lane. Even without knowing their backstory, they're still creepy regardless. Adding to the fact they talk in unison like a HiveMind, as if the writers were thinking "You know the Children of the Damned? Let's see how far we can emulate that while still keeping a G rating".
* The episode where Count Spankulot turns Numbuh One into a spanking vampire. The
entire treehouse is on lockdown til sunrise, it takes place in the middle crowd of the night, and the colors change to a deep red. And with Nigel's teammates unaware of what's happened to him, they are stalked, spanked, and turned into vampires one by one, without even seeing who’s after them.

That's right, Sector V is literally swallowed whole one by one as they try in vain to flee in sheer terror from what is essentially an unstoppable beast; we even get to see them tumble down it's gullet into it's stomach and one shudders to imagine what might have happened to them if Joaquin the hamster hadn't shown up to save all of them. The fact that GWAR's heavy metal tracks are blasting during this entire scene only makes it worse...

* The main teaser shows Numbuh One seriously contemplating whether he should do something drastic to Earth because it's too overrun with adults. Whatever it is, Chad is there and ''freaking out'', and he even reminds him of all the innocent people who live there, seemingly trying to avoid serious collateral damage. Nigel seemingly gives in to Chad's pleas, until his comrades appear in the room. Chad's efforts are ultimately all for nothing, as One goes through and prepares to bring havoc to Earth, egged on by his new peers in the GKND. What happens next is completely up to the imagination of the viewer. NothingIsScarier at best. And what happened to Nigel during his time in space?

What's too scary for kids nowadays? Just because it's the '''Kids''' Next Door doesn't mean the [[WesternAnimation/CodenameKidsNextDoor show's]] not willing to make even the most stoic and badass of both Kids and adults [[NightmareFuel shiver in fear]]. Suddenly getting decommissioned doesn't sound so bad.

[[TheDarkTimes His reign]] in Operation Z.E.R.O. was implied to have been like one big old time child labor sweatshop taken up to eleven.

Added DiffLines:

** His initial zombification of the Toiletnator leads to pandemonium as he starts infecting the other villains left and right. It's played just as terrifyingly straight as any zombie infection outbreak, complete with a shot of Grandfather laughing maniacally as the entire crowd of villains get infected almost rapidly.

* In Operation A.W.A.R.D.S., Numbuh 1 is noticeably missing when the team is ready to do the mission. They decide to run the mission without him and then tune into the award show to see their handwork. It's then revealed that [[BadassInDistress Numbuh 1 was captured by the villains]] and dolled up to be the award for the winner of Villain of The Year. Considering who was in the running to win (Father, Mr.Boss, Stickybeard, and Grandma Stuffum), it is scary to think about what would have happen had Sector V not come back for him...

* The episode where Count Spankulot turns Numbuh One into a spanking vampire. The entire treehouse is on lockdown til sunrise, it takes place in the middle of the night, and the colors change to a deep red. And with Nigel's teammates unaware of what's happened to him, they are stalked, spanked, and turned into vampires one by one, without even seeing who is after them.

** Even scarier is the [[http://rainbowmonkeys.com/ Rainbow Monkey website]] that leads into the G:KND ARG, where you can input names of characters, groups and places to get responses. What happens when you input 'Father'? DANGER DANGER DANGER. Yeah, even the GALACTIC KIDS NEXT DOOR is scared of the guy, continuing the suggestion from the series finale that his VillainDecay has finally reversed thanks to his BerserkButton getting pushed enough.
