Nightmare Fuel: Razorback

  • There are some genuinely creepy moments spread out throughout the film due to its atmosphere and sometimes trippy imagery.

  • The moment in the opening sequence when Jake's desperately calling out to his grandson who's been carried away by the boar... and you hear the poor kid screaming in utter agony.

  • On paper a killer pig doesn't sound like a very frightening or convincing monster. But good lord does the movie show you otherwise, with the animatronic and puppet boars looking downright terrifying.

  • As anyone who has dealt with wild boars can tell you, they really ARE just as vicious and dangerous as this movie portrays them as, and a boar the size of the one in the movie could easily amass the same kill count.
