Nightmare Fuel: Other Friendship Is Magic Fan Vids
Flash/ Videos
THIS flash animation. Stars out innocent, with Pinkie Pie preparing to eat some delicious cupcakes...Applejack comes up from behind, explaining that the cupcakes were for Fluttershy. Pinkie Pie turns around, making a Nightmare Face and screaming at her, The Interface becomes Red and we view this from Applejack's perspective...and then she resumes eating the cupcakes. The camera then reveals Applejack's just as freaked out as us.
This. Basically, it's MLP mixed with Amnesia The Dark Descent expansion pack Justine. It involves a Yandere Fluttershy, a Blood Knight Rainbow Dash, and a Psychopathic Manchild Pinkie Pie. The worst part? Fluttershy sounds exactly like the real Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash's voice isn't too far off either...
Wanna know what makes it worse? Someone on the animation team of the show animated it. DEAR GOD! Granted, it could also be considered a Crowning Moment of Funny, but ONLY if you have a pitch black sense of humor.
There is something extremely unsettling about Rainbow Dash dancing around missing, at the least, her torso organs and quite possibly her rib cage too.
Sometimes, Pound and Pumpkin are more than Pinkie can handle. Basically, the Cake twins are causing trouble, breaking stuff, etc. Annoyed, Pinkie watches them. Then, carefully and quietly, she opens up the knife drawer... Thankfully, before she can do anything, Twilight shows up in the window an exclaims, "Pinkie Pie, what are you doing?!" Busted, Pinkie puts the miniature scythe down, then returns to her bored demeanor.
On the other hand, can't deny it would make a great Season 3 Episode 1 opening.
Gets even worse when you look at the current top comment: One Youtube user going by the name of "Pinkie Pie" has posted this gem:
Pinkie Pie: "When I was a little filly and the sun was going doooooooown... The darkness and the shadows, they'd always make me frooooown... I'd hide under my pillow From what I thought I saw But Granny Pie said that wasn't the way To deal with fears at all... She said: Pinkie, you gotta stand up tall Learn to face your fears You'll see that they can't hurt you Just laugh to make them disappear... ...I'm laughing granny... but these cocoons are not going away..."
Someone else edited this scene as an alternate take on the season THREE ending. Which is creepier when you think about it. All the adventure and character development during that season was all an illusion.
Twilight: Everything's going to be just... [she wakes up in the cocoon.]
The 46:16 mark of Ponies the Anthology II. The combination of the image of Princess Celestia and Holst's Mars, the Bringer of War will definitely creep out many a brony.
The Flash game "Twilight vs Walking". It starts off as a "simple" QWOP clone. If you're patient enough to make it to the end of the third screen, over the book hurdles...the floor suddenly breaks, and Twilight falls through. The background changes to a deep red that gets darker and darker, and Twilight becomes a silhouette as she falls further and further...and then her body breaks apart, with her head, limbs, and torso all falling in different directions. Luckily, it was All Just a Dream.
WAS IT NOW? The game loops right back at the beginning after the "ending"... the implication being that Twilight is trapped in some kind of horrifying Groundhog Day Loop...
This video is the series animated in the style of the second opening of Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. Since the anime's openings were pretty tame compared to what actually happened within, it's pretty safe for the most part... until the end where it has Fluttershy mimicking Shion's crazy laugh.
'Want it, Need it (Hold Me)' is a ponification/parody of the video for Delta Heavy's 'Hold Me'. It still manages to be pretty unsettling, especially as Twilight becomes increasingly unhinged.
