There. Is that better?
  • Mikey freaking out when Agent Janus sees him. The latter's screaming when the alien comes for him don't help much either.
  • James chasing a hoodlum, who is gradually revealed to be not of this world. From his superhuman reflexes, unusual weapon, ability to climb walls and the gills in his pupils, it's all too clear this guy's an alien. But that's not the worst of it. The real horror is that this guy is running scared from the film's Big Bad. He's so frightened that when James corners him and he realises that he can't escape now, he leaps off a building to his death while smiling like a maniac.
  • The Reveal of the Bug's true form. It's exactly how K describes it — a giant cockroach with unlimited strength, a massive inferiority complex, and a short temper.
    • The Bug kills Edgar but leaves his skin intact to use as a disguise, implying he just sucked out his innards somehow. In the Director's Cut, we even get to see the Bug toss Edgar's skin along the ground and get a close-up of it before it puts it on.
    • The pictured scene, where Edgar's wife remarks on his skin hanging off his bones, and the Bug's response is to stretch his face back against his skull. You can't fault her for fainting on the spot.
    • The skin is not alive and decays throughout the film, making Edgar look more and more like a deranged zombie by the time the climax arrives.
  • One minor one from the film's novelization; when going to Jeebs' pawnshop, the future Agent J warns Agent K about how his car is likely to get stolen. K brushes it off, and mental dialogue reveals why he's so nonchalant; his security system is alien design. What does it do? It quietly and casually disintegrates anyone who tries to pick the lock! By the time that they step through the shop's doors, about five would-be carlifters are dead, and K just smirks to himself that this neighborhood is going to get safer and safer the longer they take inside.
  • Kay decides to get his gun back after the bug swallows it...by getting the bug to swallow him.
  • Most of Edgar's murders are off screen. The unpleasant death of the exterminator is not — Edgar grabs him to hold his mouth open and jams his gas prod down his throat.
    • The guy played by David Cross who makes the mistake of swatting flies in front of the Bug. Moments later, he's plastered to the ceiling by alien fluids, the stench of which has most likely asphyxiated him.
  • Galoob's "Deluxe Exploding Mikey" figurine from the first movie's toy line. The toy is holding the puppet head from when he was first disguised as the Mexican Guy...but, without the rest of the context, he might as well be holding a severed head!
  • At the very end we learn that our entire universe is just a marble being played with by an unimaginably huge alien, and that The Multiverse is just a bunch of other marbles "he" made. The entity has a gelatinous body and frightening face. H. P. Lovecraft would be proud.
