* The premise for the story arc "Suffer" was becoming disturbing enough... [[FromBadToWorse then Drip]][[http://www.pholph.com/strip.php?id=5&sid=585 shows up.]] [[spoiler: To be specific, the story follows a scientist named Aurthor trying to find a cure for cancer for his dying wife, and is hired by a renowned researcher Dr. Thalmus close to a cure. Thalmus is revealed to be a vicious pedophile and later murderer, raping the cancer-ward children under his care and blackmailing the Aurthor into compliance under threat of turning himself in, accusing the scientist of being a collaborator, and taking all the secrets to the cure him, which would end in the death of the scientist's wife. After murdering some of his victims that he thought would reveal his crimes, Thalmus tried to use Aurthor as a scapegoat, and it's revealed Drip was there the whole time influencing Thalmus!]]

*** Considering her approach to 'parenting' where Lucifer is concerned is basically to send him to his room until he's ready to apologize, but she doesn't actually take away any of his toys or his privileges or actually punish him, and instead condemns his victims as being in need of repentance for the smallest things. Meanwhile Lucifer does everything he can to spite God and gleefully tortures furrykind like the {{Sadist}} he is out of spite. In other words, she's one of those talkshow-bait pushover moms that lets their kid do whatever he wants, blames everyone else for his terrible behavior, and refuses to take responsibility for the damage she lets him cause.

* An AdultFear for any internet artist, particularly those who draw {{Gorn}} and stuff like GratuitousRape as David does, voiced by his AuthorAvatar: "Most parents are scared of the day their kids ask where babies come from. I'm scared shitless of the day Randy asks 'Daddy, did you draw this'?"

* Being an "Undying" is NightmareFuel in itself as revealed in "Megan's Run". Basically if you managed to escape the time you were meant to die and Jack doesn't claim your soul, you end up with CompleteImmortality. This is not a good thing. Undying such as Susan Lancaster and Megan Fairchild are not only unable to die, get sick, or remain injured, but neither will they need to eat or sleep, be able to sexually reproduce, grow old or mentally mature any more than their current state. An Undying is essentially stuck in the state they were meant to die in forever, this includes elderly or infant Undying who will not age past their current state while everyone else dies around them. Worse is their very existence is allowed by God thanks to a suggestion by Satan who did so ForTheLulz.

** Drip's home turf in the Valley of Lust isn't that better. The Valley of Lust...God, it's just...ew...! It's a giant biomass composed of thousands or even millions of furries all fused together in a giant, non-consensual orgy.

* The ending to "Dinner at Arloest's" is likewise particularly bad, especially when it's revealed that Arloest's sacrifice seems to have stuck at least one pair of people into WhoWantsToLiveForever

* '''Drip''', and to a lesser degree most of the other Sins, breathe this stuff. Drip being the worst in that he's an unrepentant SerialRapist, in life and in death, punished for his sins by being [[SenseLossSadness unable to gain physical pleasure from the act of rape,]] and cannot touch his victims in life unless they give themselves to him willingly. While this upsets him greatly, he can still satisfy his sadism and controlling tendencies and has an endless source of victims in Hell to choose from.

* Hell itself is a non-stop nightmare of an EldritchLocation. A monstrous place that has no scale of time where souls are sent to be tortured non-stop in whatever IronicHell the place deems necessary. Hell tends to twist a person's ideals and fantasies into a way that meets their standards in the worst way imaginable - if all you really want is to belong, then oh, you will as part of some [[AssimilationPlot horrific writhing flesh wall.]] If you want to forget, then day after day you'll endure a horrible trauma and then forget to go through it [[GroundhogDayLoop ad infinitum.]] In the case of the main character, if you want control over life and death, you become a {{Psychopomp}} that has to shepherd souls to Hell forever.

* Musical Holes from the 'Games We Play In Hell' arc is a "game" devised by Drip and played in Vince's coliseum that combines RapeAsDrama with GladiatorGames. The object is for the players (who are always male) to have their penises in someone else's orifice when the music stops (masturbation does not count). Those that don't get "killed" by the bouncers. The "winner" gets dragged off by Drip. [[{{Squick}} *shudder*]]

* The Screaming Barrel, a giant metal drum from a side-comic of the same name. It's a place where both serial killers and government black-op agents alike hide their victims' bodies. Drip uses it as an instrument of torture, lowering his victims into it and making them slowly drown in decomposing bodies. ''Sweet unholy fuck.''

The Barrel is [[spoiler:a grain silo which, for decades, has been used as the dumping ground for the victims of "serial killers, psychos, and corrupt governments". Main antagonist Drip Rat likes to slowly lower his victims in still alive, and let them drown in the liquefied remains.]]

* The arc, "What's Pissing Off Dalton," is terrifying. People are trapped underground after an earthquake, in an inclosed space with a psychopath off his meds who snaps at the drop of a hat, brutally beating people to death for the most minor of infractions...
